Star and Misty sat at the base of the Great Oak. It was their Fighter ceremony, they were both excited. Luna Spirit looked down at them, at look of pride in her gaze.

"Star and Misty, do you both vow to respect our code of law in the forest and follow it with your lives?" Star and Misty nodded in unison, Luna Spirit smiled at raised her head to look up at the sky, "Then I call upon our great ancestors to welcome them as Fighters!" With those words, the crowd of cats at the base of the Great Oak broke out into a chant. Star puffed out his chest fur with pride, his baby blue eyes determined, very rare in his case. When the ceremony was over, cats from all corners cam to congratulate them. Even Luna Spirit came to congratulate her daughter, she nuzzled Misty and she nuzzled Luna Spirit back. Star smiled.

"Hey! Star!" It was Boulder, Star's friend, he ran straight towards him, nearly slamming into Star. The dark grey Student stood straight, his ember eyes excited, "You and Misty are sooooooo lucky, you both became Fighters before you're even 20!" Star rolled his eyes. If he was still Mikey, he would give Boulder a clever and silly reply, but his time in the tribe as Star changed him. Misty padded up beside him. The rest of the day they spent some time together, having fun.

Star yawned and stretched out of his nest. 5 years since his Fighter ceremony and most of the other Students he grew up with are Fighters as well. Boulder, Fang, Hawk, Falcon, Shine, Crescent, and Ginger. Spirits save him, ever since Ginger, a tabby ginger she-cat with unusual violet eyes, became a Fighter, she has been clinging on to Star. Volunteering to go on hunting patrols with him, sleeping next to him. Just being a completely annoying she-cat.

"Oh, good morning sleepy head~" Ginger's voice sounded behind him as he was about to leave, he prayed to the Spirits to be separated from this crazy cat for the day. She pressed her flank against his, her violet eyes looked into his baby blue ones. Luna Spirit interrupted them as she approached.

"Star, you, Misty, Ginger, and Hawk are on the dawn patrol, get going." She ordered. Star dipped his head in understanding even though he didn't want to go on patrol with Ginger. He was glad Misty at least, was going. When she and Hawk, a black and brown tabby tom, woke up, they set off on their patrol. They checked the border in case the Southern Tribe came by at all. Nothing. Hawk decided it would be best to go hunting. They all separated into groups of two. 

Ginger wanted to go with Star, but he decided to go with Misty instead. Ginger was upset, but she went with Hawk anyway. As the two groups separated, Star scented a squirrel. He approached it, leaving Misty to go after a rabbit. He stalked it and leaped. He immediately killed it with a simple bite to the neck. He was about to leave the area before he heard footsteps, humans. He hid himself in a bush, there was something, or someone, heading his way.

The figure turned their head to the right and called in a rather familiar voice, "Leo, Raph, where'd you guys go?" Star tilted his head. That voice, I heard it before, but where, he thought to himself. He stalked closer, the figure seemed to have heard him and turned their head back. Star gasped and backed away. The figured inched closer.

"Guys! Get over here!" They called. He had green skin, brown eyes, what seems to be ninja gear on him, and a. . .shell? On his back. Two other, who look almost exactly like him rushed into Star's view. One had blue eyes and the other had green eyes. Their skin is green as well, just different shades. As the green-eyed one approached him, Star held his breath. He suddenly realized that he can't hide anymore and he leaped out of the bush and knocked the first one down. He snarled.

"What in the world!? Is that a cat?" The blue-eyed one said from behind Star, he spun around and stared it in the eyes, and he blinked.

"Leo. . ." Star murmured under his breath, the one with a red mask began to attack Star with fork looking things, Star widened his eyes.

"Raph. . ." Star murmured as he backed away, he ran in to something behind him. He spun around and he saw the one he knocked over, holding what seemed to be a giant stick.

"Donnie. . ." He gasped, he backed away again and he ran into Raph, as well as Leo, they had him surrounded. He didn't want to hurt them, but they didn't recognize him so he can't escape. A yowl can be heard from the direction where Misty went and the grey she-cat leaped at Leo.

"Leave him alone!" She snarled, Leo gave her a surprised look. "She talks?" Misty growled and Star padded over to her, he whispered someone her ear and she widened her eyes, then nodded and left. As Star watched her go, Raph helped Leo up, then he turned toward them.

"Look, you may not remember me, but I'm your. . .missing brother." The three brothers stared at him in shock. Raph began to laugh, but Leo shut him up, then he approached Star.

"Why should we believe you? You attacked us!" Star looked down. "I know, but that was before I figured out who you are: Leo, Raph, and Donnie." The brothers gasped. "Mikey?" Star nodded. Donnie and Raph looked at each other with concerned looks. Donnie approached Star.

"Then what were you doing all the way out here? For all this time?" Star shook his head. "I can't tell you, it can lead to danger among us." When he said 'us', Donnie looked back at Leo, confused, "I can't explain, I got to go." Star continued as he left, leaving his brothers to sit there, and leave to go home without him.

Star padded into camp, a rabbit clamped in his jaws. Misty was already back, she was talking to Hawk. Once Star came back, she immediately sprinted toward him.

"Star! I was so worried! Are you ok?" She meowed, as she obviously noticed the saddened expression on Star's face. He looked up and nodded.

"Yes, I'm fine, just tired." Misty smiled and pushed her muzzle against his cheek. Luna Spirit came over and sent both of them to the den for the night. They nodded gratefully and began to head to the den. This day was quite surprising.
