As we were walking much deeper and deeper into the forest, I looked around to make sure there wasn't anymore danger around us. Celebi was in my arms once our battle from earlier was over. I looked back at the others. "Is everybody okay?"

"Yeah. We're fine." Donnie answered back.

"We're good sis." Mikey gave a thumbs up.

"I'm okay." Leo said as he was carrying Misty on his shell.

"Me too." Misty nodded.

"Ditto." Raph and Akira said at the same time.

"I'm fine." Brock said.

"Same here. It's a good thing that you look out for your friends Aqua. That's how I know they depend on you." Ash smiled.

"I appreciate it very much Ash." I smiled and kept walking.

"We gotta find a way out." he said. "Hmm? What's that mark on your shoulder?"

"Mark?" I looked at the direction of my shoulder he was looking at and saw a slash there. "Oh."

"You're hurt."

"Guess I am. Might've been so pumped in that battle I barely noticed the pain there. And it was actually starting to sting a little."

"Guess Sneasel might've hurt you. Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine Ash." I said to him as we kept walking. But then we stopped to see that the fog was coming in. "Oh dear."

"The fog." Leo was cautious.

"This is getting bad." Brock said.

My ears perked up and I looked down to see that Celebi was breathing pretty heavily. The way it sounded got me worried. I gave it some wolf kisses to try and calm it down. "Shh it's okay." I looked at Ash. "We'd better hurry."

"Gotta keep moving forward. If we stop now, we might be too late." Ash suggested.

I gasped softly. "Please don't say that." my ears went down from the thought of those last 2 words he said.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried out and we looked at the direction it was looking at.

Something large was coming up toward us. It was a large bear like Pokémon.

"It's an Ursaring! Huh?" Ash said.

Then a little bear Pokemon came alongside the Ursaring. It made a sound and then it went back in the direction it came from. The little one was following right behind it.

"And that was a Teddiursa." Misty said.

"Now that was cool." Mikey said.

"Just what are they doing?" Brock asked.

"I think they wants us to follow them." Misty suggested.

"What do you think guys, should we?" Leo asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. "Let's go." I said as we slowly started to follow the Ursaring and Teddiursa.

The walking felt like it was taking hours with the bear Pokemon as our guides to somewhere I was unsure of. But I laid my trust on them that would help us get through the foggy forest. After a little while, we were greeted by a deer Pokemon called a Stanler and it took over as our second guide. After another little while, we were greeted by a ferret Pokemon called Furret and it guided us along the tall grassy lands. As we made it out of the tall grass, we came across something blue.

"Oh." I wiggled my ears. "Guys look."

"Whoa..." Mikey gasped.

"A lake." Raph said.

We walked towards the edge of the lake and looked around.

"Hey, do you guys think that this is the Lake of Life that Diana's grandmother was talking about?" Brock asked.

"This has to be it." Leo said.

My ears wiggled again as I heard Celebi softly calling out. I looked down at it in my arms. It was still breathing a little heavy and it was pointing out to the lake. I looked at the horizon of the lake and nodded my head. "Okay." I took a deep breath and then started to make my way slowly towards the edge.

"Aqua..?" Brock called out.

I didn't respond to Brock after I slowly stepped into the water and waded into it. The water's temperature was cool to the touch and it was getting cooler with every step I took. After I made it to a comfortable depth, I crouched down on my knees and placed Celebi into the water. The ripples surrounding us was making soft rippling sounds that made my ears wiggled.

"Bi..." Celebi breathed in and out deeply.

I gently gave it some more wolf kisses and closed my eyes, whispering some praying words that we weren't too late. The thoughts in my mind was a whirlpool of emotions, it made me shed a single tear out of my eye as I kept praying for Celebi's recovery.

"Hey Aqua look!" Ash snapped me out if it.

I dried the tear out of my eye and saw what was ahead on the other side of the lake. As the fog was vanishing, a whole group of the forest Pokemon was watching us. I was thinking that they were worried about Celebi as well. As I was focused on them, I felt the water splash lightly at my face. I looked down to see the Celebi had gone under. I gasped softly in worry.

But after a moment, there was something glowing at the middle of the lake, and the light was green. I gasped in awe at the sight of the glow with the others also gasping in awe. As I looked at the glowing green light towards me, it was Celebi and it was swimming around me.

"Hey." I smiled and giggled softly.

"Hey Aqua, why don't you join it?" Akira suggested.

"Oh yeah." I took in a deep breath and dove right under the water.

~Ash's POV~

As I saw Aqua dive under the water, I got worried. "Aqua!" I called out to her.

"Don't worry. She's fine." Leo nodded with reassurance.

I looked at the water to see that the water was also glowing a blue color. And then saw a familiar wolf shape swimming alongside Celebi. "Whoa... what is..."

"Oh. She didn't tell you that she can be a mermaid as well?" Leo asked me.

"A mermaid?" I grew curious.

"She can tell you later." Mikey smiled at the sight of the glowing green and blue shapes.

I was wondering what he meant by that as we watched the glowing shapes at play.
