Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey and Sky walked through New York City. The chilly air was crisp that night. The turtles pulled their hats' over their faces. They would appear normal to a passerbyer. Mikey had a skip in his walk, he was excited to be walking with the people of New York, instead of looking down on them from the roof tops. Sky took a turn into another street. Donnie felt like he'd been this way before, although he couldn't put his finger on it. Leo walked behind Sky, always looking back to make sure his brothers were following.
Sky walked up to the doors of a huge building, the turtles looked at the top of the building and froze in their tracks.
"What's wrong?" she queried.
"This is where your mum works?" Donnie choked out, still staring at the top of the building.
"Yeah, is there something wrong?" Sky folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at the turtles.
"This is TCRI!" Mikey finally exclaimed in worry.
"And that's bad why?" Sky tilted her head.
"Your mother is working for the Kraang?!" Raph shouted, "That's it I'm outta here!"
Leo stopped Raph, "This is way more complicated than we thought, Raph. And this is part of our responsibility as heroes and ninja. Plus, I don't think Sky's mum knows she is working for Kraang. Remember last year? We found out that normal people worked for the Kraang without even knowing."
Donnie nodded thoughtfully. Sky frowned, "What is Kraang?"
"It's an alien race that plan to take over the earth." Donnie said efficiently.
"And my mother works there?" Sky's voice brimmed with panic.
"As I said, she probably doesn't know that." Leo comforted the panicked girl.

Sky nodded and opened up the front door to the building. The turtles walked in. There was a reception desk in front of the door, a middle-aged lady sat behind the desk.
"Isn't that the old lady that tried to attack April at school?" Mikey whispered to Raph. Raph nodded. Mikey gulped and followed his brothers more quickly.
"This place is not welcome for visitors, please retreat back to your homes." the lady said in a creepy calm voice.
"Well you see, umm..." Leo tried to explain, but Mikey smirked and took out a smoke bomb. He smashed it onto the ground. "BUYAKAASHAA!" he yelled as he and his brothers (and Sky) vanished through the purple smoke. As the smoke faded away, the receptionist  picked up a landline and dialed.
"We have intruders, alarm the others."

Leo rubbed the remaining smoke from his eyes. They were in an elevator, going up the stories slowly.
Sky pressed a button, on which her mother's office was, "What was that?"
"A smoke bomb dudette!" Mikey grinned.
Sky nodded, "I guess that's normal for a ninja." The elevator got nearer and nearer to the floor they needed to be at.
"Okay guys, there could be Kraang or people working now, so be ready." Leo said drawing out his katanas from their sheathes. The turtles took off their human clothes.
"But it's night time, people don't work at night time." Mikey said, folding his coat.
Donnie face palmed himself, "Some people have late work hours, Mikey."
"People really work this late?!" Mikey exclaimed. His brothers glared at him, "Sssshhhhhh!" they said together.
The doors of the elevator opened, slowly. Leo was the first to peek through. No one was to be seen. He signaled for the others to follow.
He hid behind each thing, his brothers kept up, but Leo kept checking back at Sky, making sure she was keeping up. And to his surprise she was doing a fantastic job. Sky pointed at one of the desks, This one, she mouthed the words.
Donnie stealthily took the laptop off the desk and put it into Sky's backpack.
They made their way back to the elevator, Leo in the lead, Raph, Donnie, Mikey then Sky at the back. Sky felt happy that her first mission was a success. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey got into the elevator, Sky was about to step into the elevator too, but someone grabbed her hand and pulled her back with such force, that she fell to the ground. Sky spun around to see a robot with a brain in it's stomach, pulling her away from the guys. She reached out her hand. Leo shocked at the Kraang's sudden appearance, tried to grab Sky's out reached hand, but the elevator doors closed, blocking him from her. The last thing he saw was her, her pleading eyes begging for help. She was scared of the Kraang. And he had failed at rescuing her. He was too slow. "It's all my fault! My stupid plan back fired and now she's in trouble because of me!" Leo snarled at himself. His brothers watched him with wide eyes.
"Why are you blaming yourself? No one could tell that there was a Kraang behind her!" Raph said.
"And also, since when do you doubt yourself? Isn't that normally Raphael's job?" Donnie asked.
Mikey gave his brother a hug. He pulled away, "Don't stress bro."
Leo gave a small smile at his brothers attempt at cheering him up, "We gotta save her!"
