Leo tried to scramble to a better hiding place but froze to the spot. Donnie gulped. The girl took a turn around the counter and faced Donnie and Leo. Donnie gave a worried smiled and a small nervous wave. The girls eyes met Leos'. Leo's eyes met the girls'. Raphael coughed awkwardly breaking their stares.
"So you two are Mikey and Raph?" she pointed at Raph the Mikey. They nodded. "And you two are?"
"M-my names Donnatello." the purple banned turtle said.
"My name is Leo, and what may yours be?" the blue banned turtle asked politely.
"My name is none of your bees wax! And what are you doing in my house?!" the girl hissed. Leo flinched at her sharpness.
"You see, we um... err..." Leo was lost for words.
"Wait a minute, where's my sister?!" she yelled at the turtles and April.
Sister? Oh no, this is gonna be hard to explain... Leo thought.
"Do you mean, Livi?" April piped up.
"Yeah, where is she?" the girl's eyes brimmed with worry as she saw the intruders' faces fall.
"You see, your sister is.... well..." Donnie began, but then Mikey ran up to the girl and grabbed her hand and pulled her up the stairs. Leo was surprised when the girl didn't try and run away from Mikey.
She must be really worried about her sister... he thought to himself sadly. They reached Livi's room. The girl's howl of sadness and hurt echoed through the house. Everyone, even Raph, looked down at the ground in shame and pity. That girl came home from school and was expected to look after the house with her big sister until her parents came home. But instead she came home to find four freaks and a red-haired girl in her house with no explanation on their appearance. And to put a cherry on top, she finds her sister murdered.
The girl's sobs were loud, Leo could hear Mikey trying to comfort her. All of a sudden, a shout and hiss sounded from upstairs, "You freaks! You weirdos! You killed my sister! OUT! OUT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW! OR I'LL CALL THE POLICE!" the girl screeched in rage.
Leo, Donnie, Raph and April listened to Mikey trying to explain, but the girl started chasing them down the stairs. Mikey leapt off the last step and hid behind Leo. The girl scrambled down the stairs after him, fuming. Her eyes a fiery green and her long ginger hair a bit messy from crying. They all took several steps away from her.
"Let us explain!" Leo stammered.
"You have three seconds!" The girl growled.
