Chapter 2
As Aika and I walked into the farmhouse with the egg, we saw the guys there. "Donnie! Guys!"
"Hey." Donnie and Leo said at the same time.
"What's up?" Raph said.
"What's that?" Mikey asked.
"We found this in the barn. Well, Aika found it first."
"And we need your help Donnie." Aika said.
"It looks like a ball." Mikey said as he took a closer look.
Raph placed his hand on it and feels it. "No it's not."
"Then what is it?" Leo asked.
"It's an egg." Aika said.
"An egg?" Donnie asked.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Whoa! It's glowing!" Raph said as he pointed to the egg.
"It's a red stripe!" Mikey said as well.
"Wait what?!" Aika said as we all watched a red stripe was appearing on the bottom of the egg.
"Whoa." I said as I looked at the red stripe. "We need to figure out what egg this is."
"Yeah. Any ideas Donnie?" Aika asked him.
"Hmm... nope." he said.
"How about we do some research?" I said.
"Sounds good."
(My T-Phone)
I placed the egg down on a pillow and took a picture of it with my T-Phone. Then I connected my phone to Donnie's laptop to see if there was anything to our newly founded egg. After I looked at the results, I flashed a smile. "Oh wow, very interesting."
(Donnie reading the info about the egg)
"What's interesting?" Mikey asked.
Donnie came over to read what was on the laptop and was amazed. "It's the egg. I can't believe it." he smiled.
"What?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, what?" Aika and Raph asked.
"It appears that we have found a Dream Maker's egg. They come down to earth every 1000 years or so. Wow, we're so lucky!" I smiled and giggled.
"Awesome, a Dream Maker!" Mikey cheered.
"Wow. Awesome! Interesting." the guys said.
I read the rest of the egg's information. "It says here that within time until the next night, each ring will reveal a different color. So it's normal."
"Wow." Raph said.
"And after the colors are on the egg, we have to put the egg at the exact location where we found it at. And it's on the haystack near Donnie's work space in the barn."
"I can't wait to see what the Dream Maker looks like." Mikey smiled.
"Yeah, I hope it's cute." Aika smiled.
"Maybe it will be." Donnie said.
"We just have to wait and see." Leo said.
"Yeah."
Mikey made a yawning noise. "Wow. That was some good news."
"Yeah. Now it's time for all of us to get to bed." Raph said.
"Aww." Mikey frowned.
"Aww, I don't wanna go to bed yet." Aika agreed with Mikey.
"Now you two, quit your whining." Leo said.
"Meh..." Aika pouted.
"Sis, you do know we're still sleeping outside. Right?" I smiled as I picked up the egg.
"Oh yeah. Tee hee hee."
"Well, you should hit the hay guys. But I'm gonna stay up a little bit longer so I could knit." I said as I made my way to the yarn basket.
(The yarn basket)
"Knit what?" Mikey yawned.
"An egg carrier and a blanket." I smiled as I picked up the basket and placed the egg inside.
Leo chuckled. "Alright."
"Looks like you'll both be moms girls." Raph said.
Aika giggled. "That's almost every girl's dream."
"Oh! And I'll make a teddy for it too." I smiled.
"Wow. You'll be ready by tomorrow night then sis."
"Hehe."
"I wanna stay up too." Mikey said as he yawns.
"No, you're going to bed Mikey. You're tired." Leo suggested.
"Yeah little bro." Donnie agreed.
"Aww man." Mikey pouted.
"Aww tee hee." Aika giggled.
"Let's go little bro." Raph said as he helped him off the couch. "Good night Aqua. And good night Ai chan~" he winked at her.
Aika blushed. "G-Goodnight."
"Night night." Mikey said to us as Raph chuckled. Then he and Raph went to their rooms.
"Good night girls." Donnie said as he went to his room.
"Night Donnie." we said to him.
"Good night Aika." Leo smiled at us.
"Night Leo." Aika smiled as she was at the door.
"Good night Aqua."
"Good night darling chan, see you in the morning." I smiled as I went out with Aika to the front yard.
As Aika and I went to our spot, I placed the basket of yarn balls next to my sleeping bag and placed the egg on my lap. As I started knitting the blanket, I looked up at the starry night sky. "Wow, what a beautiful night."
"Yeah. The stars are so beautiful. I wish I could go out there."
"Hey. You'll never know, maybe the Dream Maker could make your dream come true."
"You really think so?"
"Maybe."
"I hope so."
"Don't count on it too much. Now go to sleep."
"But I don't want to." she yawned.
"Now you will."
"B-But I'm not tired..." she said as she was starting to doze off.
"Go to sleep."
"Aww fine." she said as she fell asleep.
I giggled softly and rubbed her head as she was purring in her sleep. After she fell asleep, I got back to work on knitting the blanket for the Dream Maker. As I was knitting, I imagined about what the Dream Maker would look like as I wait for it to hatch very soon.
