~Narrator's POV~

Our story begins as Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Aqua, and Aika are heading off to spend the summer week at April's farmhouse after their latest adventures in New York where they grew weary and decided to take it easy.

"I can't wait to sit back and relax on the armchair!" Mikey said happily.

"Me too. It's been a long time since we've relaxed." Raph said as he held Aika closely to him.

"I'm just glad that we can be in a quiet farmhouse instead of a noisy city." Donnie added.

"I would jump in the lake and take a swim while looking at all of the scenery." Aqua smiled.

"I could meditate all I want in the forest." Leo said.

"Yeah right Leo." Raph said as everyone else laughed.

(Arriving at the farmhouse)

~Time Skip in Aika's POV~

Aqua and I were outside the front yard because our girls night was over. "This girls night was fun and look at that beautiful night sky, I could sleep out here." I said.

(The starry night sky)

Aqua turned to me with a smile. "How about we sleep out here?"

"Okay." I smiled.

"Let's go get the stuff and we could stay here for tonight." she said as she gets up.

"Really?!" I said as I got up excited.

"Yeah, let's go."

"Yay!" I said as I walked with Aqua inside of the farmhouse.

A little while later after Aqua and I brought the stuff outside, I looked at her. "So what else do we need?"

"Sleeping bags and a lantern."

"Alright. Do you want me to get the sleeping bags or the lantern?"

"I'll get the sleeping bags while you get the lantern. It's in the barn." she said as she went inside of the farmhouse.

"Okay." I said as I went to the barn. As I went inside, I looked around to see if I could find the lantern.

"Hey sis, I'm ready!" Aqua shouted from outside.

"Okay! I'm just looking for the lantern! I can't find it!" I shouted back.

"It should be where Donnie's work space is!"

"Okay, thank you!" I shouted and walked over to Donnie's work space. I saw the lantern on the chair and grabbed it. "I got it!" I said.

(The lantern)

"Come on sis, I'm tired!" Aqua said.

"Okay!" As I was about to leave the barn, I saw something on the haystack and got closer to it. "Hey sis! Come over here! I found something!"

~Aqua's POV~

After I heard Aika telling me to come into the barn, I went straight there. I peeked into the door and saw Aika there. "What's up?"

"Look." Aika said as she pointed to the haystack.

I walked inside and saw the object that was on top of the haystack. "What the heck is that?"

"I don't know." she said.

I started smelling it until it jumped which caused me to gasp and move back quickly. "Oh!"

(The mysterious egg)

"Eek!" Aika shrieked and hugged me tight.

I held her closely and nervously brought my hand to the object and touched it. "Wow. It feels like an egg."

"Really?"

I let go of Aika's embrace and gently picked it up. "Whoa..."

"What a weird egg."

"Yeah. It's all gray."

"Yeah, and it's big too."

"I say bigger than Mikey's head." I said as I laughed lightly.

"Tee hee." Aika giggled.

"Should we try to figure out what egg species this is?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I wanna know."

"Let's go ask Donnie."

"Okay." she said as she started walking out of the barn and I followed her.

As I was walking out of the barn, I kept thinking about what could be inside of this mystery egg. Either something surprising or something very dangerous.
