Oh, the things you'll find when you Google search yourself (or your Wattpad username).

Sooo...I google searched my Wattpad username just to see what would happen, and I found link to one of my Titchy Witch stories on a (VERY suspicious looking) website that was NOT WATTPAD. And yet the link was called "Titchy Witch and the Frog Fiasco". My username did come up in the google description, however (I've included a screenshot so you can see). I clicked on the link and it was a story download page. And it seemed as though other people had downloaded the story. However, here's the thing:

The story was STOLEN.

You want proof? The title is WRONG. I believe the Titchy Witch story being referred to on this suspicious site is the one called "Titchy Witch and Too Many Toads!". I haven't downloaded the file on the site myself but it's obvious that this is my story (I wrote Titchy Witch in 2013, the year I joined Wattpad), especially as my username popped up in the google link description (though it was nowhere on the download page). Plus, Titchy Witch was based on some stories I wrote at school when I was 5 years old. I still have my old English books with the original Titchy Witch stories in them. If anyone tries to dispute the fact that I am the original author, I have the evidence from OVER TEN YEARS AGO to back up my case, if you wish to see it.

If anybody has any information on this website, or has been a victim of this themselves, or if you have any ideas on how to sort this out, please let me know. Your help in investigating this would be very much appreciated. Stealing is WRONG. I may not update that book now, but that doesn't mean it isn't important to me. My work is MY WORK. Plus, it's likely that I'm not the only person who has had their work stolen. If there is any way in which I could contribute to protecting other people from cruddy sites like this, then I will do everything within my power to see it done. This website may allow you to download stuff for "free" (or so it claims) but it's got to be making money somehow-off of MY WORK. It goes without saying that I'm not trying to make money off my writing. But seeing this cruddy website blatantly steal my hard work and knowing that some piece of scum somewhere in this world is making money off if it churns. My. Stomach.

The only places where you can find my stories are my Wattpad account @SinewaveSanctuary and my QuoteV account Metallucia Queen of the Courtroom. If you see my work anywhere else, it has been STOLEN. If you encounter any of my works anywhere other than these two sites, please inform me via PM. Also, I urge you to check your own usernames on Google to make sure this doesn't happen to you. And DON'T stop at the first page-I found these on the THIRD page of search results.
