As Jimin walked home that night with his hands stuffed into his pockets, his head droops low.
After having sent you back, he makes the decision to return back to Nari. After all, he still had unfinished business left with her.
Breathing into the silent air, he sighs in relief when he reaches the house safely without thugs interfering with him on the way.
Kicking his shoes off, he opens the door, his eyes immediately falling on a tired Nari laying on the sofa with her hair knotted and sprawled out in all directions.
She stands up immediately upon hearing his arrival.
"Where were you? I was worried thinking you'd changed your mind."
Sighing, Jimin bounces in his spot.
"I-I just went for a walk. I couldn't sleep."
A smile of relief surfaces on her face as she aprroaches him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
He returns the smile, in turn slinking his arms around her waist as she speaks.
"You don't have to be nervous about tomorrow. If you truly did what i asked you to, you should have nothing to worry about."
He hums, pulling her close to him, their chests pressing against each other as she smirks.
Her lips linger centimetres away from his as her breath fans his lips when she speaks.
"After all, you know who really satisfies you, and where you truly belong."
With that, he lunges forward, connecting their lips in a fiery, heated kiss. She doesn't hesitate to respond, her tongue immediately finding the rhythm with his.
He taps her leg and she smirks, understanding the gesture before jumping and wrapping her legs around his waist.
She breaks the kiss to gasp for air, seizing the opportunity to whisper in his ear.
"I'm so much better than she ever will be."
He doesn't reply, and instead slams his lips back down onto hers, his arms ravaging her body. She moans, her hands knotting through his hair as she pushes her hips upwards, grinding against him.
Jimin's hands slide down her waist as she loses herself in the heated moment, before slipping it effortlessly into her back pocket.
A feeling of triumph overcomes her, for she knew she had exactly what she wanted in her clutches, and it had sauntered over to her with ease.
His vulnerability had caught her attention, and she seized the opportunity to grab it.
He slowly pulls away as he whispers, his voice low and husky.
"We'd better save this for later. Tomorrow's a big day, hmm?"
She giggles before nodding, and walking seductively towards the stairs, swaying her hips from side to side as her blue eyes glint beneath the dim light.
Jimin smiles, shooting her a wink as he watches her disappear up the stairs. His smile falls immediately as nausea rises up his chest like bile, and he finds his feet rushing to the kitchen sink.
Lurching over, his abdomen clenches as he empties the contents of his stomach into the sink. Sliding down the drawer and onto the floor, his labored breaths echo into the silent night as the events of what he had just done replayed torturously in his mind over and over.
I'm so sorry, baby.
I will always love you, and as disgusted as I am now, we finally have a chance.
A chance to get back to what we used to be.
Our lives, our reputations.
We finally have a light at the end of this dark tunnel.
He thinks as a stray tear slides down his face before his eyes fall to te pair of keys dangling from his fingers, glinting and shimmering under the moonlight.
I wont let her do this to me.
To us.
With that, he pushes himself off the floor, grabbing his jacket off the peg and swinging the door open with one destination and motive remaining unwavered in his mind.

With his hands in his jacket pockets, he walks past the security guards into the institution.
The institution was open to trainees 24/7, but Jimin's entrance at midnight bewildered them. His breathing was shallow as he walked past the trainee lockers, his gaze locked on the vip locker room at the end of the hall.
As he approached it, the guard outside the room stands up, blocking him from entering.
"Key?"
His gravelly voice echoes through the hallway as jimin fumbles for the key he got from Nari, handing it over to him.
The guard glances at the name on the key before looking back at Jimin in confusion.
"You aren't Park Nari. "
Jimin sighs, running a frustrated hand through his hair, his hip sticking out to the right.
"Come on, man. You see me here everyday! I need something important from her locker."
The guard shakes his head, handing the key back to Jimin.
"No can do. I'm responsible for the belongings of the peop-"
"How much do you want?"
Jimin hisses in anger, pulling out a roll of money, counting it in front of him. He had just received his salary, and he was eager to spend it on something nice, but unfortunately his desire had now been squandered.
Pulling out half the notes, he holds it up in front of the guards face, his expression dark and angered.
The guard gulps, looking around cautiously before his hand reaches out to take stack of notes, stuffing it into his pocket and speaking with a low voice.
"Five minutes is the most I can give you."
"I thought so."
Jimin snaps, as the guard steps aside with his head low. Entering the locker room, Jimin's eyes fall on the orange locker with her name, rushing to it.
His heart races inside him, the adrenaline coursing through his veins. It was as though he was reliving his illegal days all over again.
Pushing the key in, he twists it and pulls on the door.
His blood runs cold when the door refuses to open. He harshly bangs on it, trying to pull it open as he panics when the door doesn't budge.
What the fuck?
This is the right key, I don't fucking understand what's going wrong!
Harshly pulling out the key with a grunt, his eyes travel to the name on the locker. His eyes widen at the blunder he'd made, and resisted the urge to bang his head against the wall.
Choi Nari.
"How the fuck was I supposed to know there was a Choi Nari in here?"
He hisses under his breath before he catches the dark blue locker in the corner of the room, this time making sure to read the full name properly.
Park Nari.
Even though he knew this was the right locker, there was a dull nagging in the back of his head as he pushed the key in, twisting it.
A long sigh of relief leaves his lips when the door swings open with ease, and his eyes fall on the plastic folder in the topmost shelf.
Quickly taking it within his grasp, he jumps when the guard bangs on the door.
"You need to come out now, Jimin."
"Wait, you bastard!"
He whisper yells as he flips through the pages of the folder hurriedly, his eyes desperately scanning through the documents.
The guard bangs on the door again as Jimin lets out a shaky breath, tucking the folder under his arm and coolly exiting the room.
He shoots a look at the guard, who stares back at him.
"You didn't see me here. Am I clear?"
The guard nods his head hesitantly before Jimin walks up to him, sizing him up.
"If you so much as tell anyone about this, I can have you removed from your position on the grounds of accepting bribes,"
He pauses, glancing at the guards name tag with a tilted head.
"Soobin."
The guard clears his throat, nodding before Jimin huffs in his face and walks out.
Once he's out of the premises, he lets out a long sigh, his breath fogging up in the air before him as the icy temperature nips at his skin.
A small smile surfaces on his face as he closes his eyes, clutching onto the folder for dear life.
He swallows the lump in his throat when his eyes travel the documents of his bribes.
I won't succumb to threats anymore.
His steps speeden as he turns the corney into a dark alleyway with a dead end and a rotting dustbin. His nose scrunches up at the smell that invades his senses as he digs into his pockets.
Releasing a wavering breath at the cold metal of the cigarette lighter in his hands, he holds up the folder above the dustbin. He tilts his head in satisfaction as he watches the dancing flames consume the papers, leaving behind nothing but cold, dead ashes.
Watching as the last piece of paper dissolves into nothing, he seizes the opportunity to pop a cigarette between his lips.
He tilts his head upwards as he feels the smoke travelling down his throat and exiting through his nostrils. Closing his eyes, he pictures you in his mind.
Your hair, your smile, your walk, your smell.
He smiles to himself, content in the dark alleyway.
Now it's all up to you, Y/N.
Our future rides on your shoulders.
