Kaylee's POV

We were now inside a rocket ship in space.

"Is this the greatest thing ever or what?" Jay screams excitedly, doing a small backstroke along the Zero Gravity area. I keep my seat on the ground, in my shield/hamster ball.

"Where are you? We're trapped in space and you...where did you go?" Kai sighs, trying to move around.

"Guys, we're in space. I thought this is stuff only Fritz Donnegan gets to enjoy." Jay gushes.

"Fritz is from a comic book, dude. This is real!" Lloyd snaps.

"Well, you got me hooked on the character. Would you lighten up and not step on your dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?" Jay asks.

"We have to find a way to take control of the ship. If they get the Golden Weapons back to the Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance." Lloyd commands and Kai accidentally bumps into him. "Whoa!"

"But there's no access to the rest of the ship. The only way out is through the same airlock we came in." Kai points out.

"And if my memory banks serve correct, space has a way of taking one's breath away, in the negative sense," Zane says, and I go to the computer, engulfing it with my hamster ball. I start sending out a signal, to try to get some help, but soon it stops me, with an image of the area we were currently in and dropping it continuously.

"Enjoy it while you can, Jay because, in five minutes, the entire ship is scheduled to lighten up. The supplemental boosters are set to detach." I inform.

"Uh, I'm a Ninja, not an astronaut. What does that mean?" Kai asks.

"The portion of the ship we are currently stationed will soon detach and we will be abandoned in space with it." I simplify it.

Nya appears on screen with Garmadon, Wu, and Pixal. "Hello? Kai? Anyone? Can you read me?" I roll away.

"We read you loud and clear." Everyone goes to the computer.

"Good to hear you, boys. We're going to get you home safe. P.I.X.A.L. was able to find the blueprints for the rocket. You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late. Near the front of the ship is an A2 storage compartment. Inside are emergency spacesuits." Sensei says.

"That will be a doozy. We can't get the spacesuits unless we go outside. Problem is, we can't go outside without the spacesuits. Any other suggestions?" Cole asks.

"They are completely out of their element. Even if they get through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?" Garmadon whispers think that we couldn't hear him.

"Uh, we can still hear you," I say.

"Yeah, we could really use some encouraging words right about now," Lloyd asks.

"If you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself," Sensei spoke.

"Hm, can anyone else figure that one out?" Kai asks.

"His wisdom usually takes a while to set in. But we don't have a while!" Jay yells.

"Zane, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship," Pixal informs.

"She's right. I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone." Zane confirms.

"Go get 'em, Zane." Kai nods. We wait for Zane, the minute turning into seconds then, the countdown.

"Come on, Zane, where are you?" Lloyd mutters, and just in time, we quickly don on the spacesuits using Spinjitzu.

"We made it!" I yell, and I hear the others cheer.

"We have our spacesuits and found one way to change ourselves. At least now we can stay on this ride a bit longer." Lloyd smiles.

"All right, to commandeer the ship, you have to get to the cockpit. You'll find an access hatch just ahead of you." Nya informs.

"You know what's also ahead? A desolate void of nothingness. If any one of us falls off..." Cole starts.

"We'll take it slow. Together." Kai says, and the guys scream as the ship briefly accelerates.

"Wussies." I snort, skipping on the rocket.

"How do we ever put up with you?" Kai sighs.

"You're lucky you didn't have to bother with her when she was 6," Sensei says.

"Please, you just couldn't move your own body to catch me. I was in the vents the whole time." I snicker.

"Are you serious." Was Sensei's reply.

"And I thought you were the Golden Angel Child." Jay snorts.

"Nah. I turn into Devil Psycho Girl when I want to." I laugh.

"Please don't. You actually sound like a psycho." Lloyd says.

"Pixal I thought you said Kaylee was the soft-spoken one." Kai accuses.

"According to my computers most of the time, the quiet kids are the psychos," Pixal says.

"Pixal, not helping." Zane sighs.

"I can't wait to see the expressions on the faces of those metal chrome domes when they find out we stowed away on board!" Jay says.

"They're Nindroids, nimrod, they don't have expressions." Cole retorts.

"Oh, yeah. Well, Zane has expressions." Jay snaps.

"Zane's not like them. Do we really have to go over this right now?" Kai sighs.

"It's just so quiet, I'm only trying to fill the space. Get it?" Jay laughs. "Space!"

"Well, try to fill the space up with them!" I point to the Nindroids.

"So much for our surprise attack. Look out!" Cole yells, and everyone expect Jay and I duck. I summon my hamster ball. The Nindroids laugh as they fire at us, but Jay steals one of their weapons, making us cheer for him.

"Wow! Cool!" Lloyd yells.

"All right!" Cole cheers.

"Way to go Jay!" I yell.

"Not Jay. Fritz Donnegan! Fear isn't a word where I come from!" Jay yells, and I groan.

"Oh, man. I'm sorry for introducing him to that." Lloyd sighs.

"Don't be. If we can't change our circumstances, that's one way to change yourself. Fire!" Kai shoots a ball of flames at them.

"Hope we don't need that." Cole comments, ripping up a piece of the rocket.

"Ice!" Zane shoots some ice at them.

"Ninja-Uh, oh! Aah!" Cole tries to use Spinjitzu but floats away instead.

"Cole!" I yell

"Guys! A little help, please?" Cole waves his arm around.

"We can't use our Spinjitzu in zero gravity. There's too little resistance." Zane says.

"Too little? I'd say the resistance is a bit more than we can handle at the moment." Lloyd snaps.

"Haven't you heard, scourge? No free rides!" Jay yells, looking like he's having the time of his life.

"Help!" Cole yells.

"Jay! Don't let Cole getaway! Ugh. Fritz! Save him!" Kai yells.

I'm on it, Commander Kiflin. I just blew you away. Haha." Jay laughs.

"Who the hell is Commander Kiflin," I ask.

"Help!" The boosters activate, leaving Cole.

"Fritz Donnegan to the rescue!" Jay grabs a rope and goes after Cole.

"Help!" Cole yells.

"Gotcha! Next time, don't get carried away." Jay says.

"Ah, thanks. I owe you one." Cole sighs.

"Okay. Stay away from Nya." Jay orders.

"Maybe a different one." Cole retorts.

"You-almost to the cockpit. make sure to-your course. And focus on-ahead." Sensei says, but the audio kept on cutting out.

"Sensei? I'm getting interference. I can't hear you." Kai says.

"Asteroids." Zane deducts looking straight ahead.

"Cryptor's steering us into the tail of the comet. Find cover!" Kai yells, but as we dive under something, an asteroid breaks off their cover.

"Cover? What cover?" Cole yells. Some Nindroids go inside the rocket as the rest huddles in fear.

"Hey! Haha! They do have expressions. Ha!" Jay laughs but an asteroid hits more Nindroids. "Never mind." We are about to land, I summon a shield.

"Looks like we're coming in hot" Kai yells.

"Get in!" I yell. Everyone moves toward me, but Lloyd loses his grip.

"Lloyd!" I yell, and we form a chain to catch him.

"Hold on!" Cole yells, and I cover everyone in silver, like an armor. We crash into the comet, knocking ourselves out. Later, we wake up.

"Ha! We survived!" Jay cheers.
"Cheer all you want. I think I'm going to lie down." I stay in my position, looking at the beautiful sky, that seems to always have an Aurora Borealis.

"Nya, are you there? Dad? Wu? Anyone?" Lloyd asks.

"Maybe the others didn't make it," Kai suggests, and the others run into the ship, looking for Nindroids.

"Ah, I've always wished I could see an Aurora Borealis. I guess it was my lucky day, going on this ship." I sigh, as a lunar rover speeds out. I quickly fly out, following them.

"Argh! Move your gas tank, I can't see." Jay snaps. Oh, they've stuffed themselves in a small lunar rover. ha.

"Ugh, your blaster is in my rib." Kai groans.

"Ugh, that's not a blaster, that's my leg." Jay retorts.

"Zane, you're squeezing my arm." Cole accuses.

"I thought that was the accelerator." Zane apologizes.

"Oh FSM, that's the funniest thing I'll ever witness in my whole life." I laugh.

"I swear if one word gets out." Lloyd glares.

"What?" I ask.

"I won't give you attention. I'll pay video games with the guys all the time." He smirks.

"Huh, tempting. But, I'll pass. I can just hang out with Nya or Pixal." I retort as the guys fall out of the car. We hide behind a boulder.

"This must be where the Golden Weapons landed," Kai says.

"There's the weapons." Cole points to a mound of gold.

"And there's the key." Kai points to Cryptor's neck.

A Nindroid reaches towards it, The Nindroid disintegrates, making the others back away.

"Those are the Golden Weapons all right." Jay comments.

A green, glowy, beetle climbs on Zane's hand. "Hello there, little friend." He says as Jay picks it up.

"Oh, would you look at that? Can you believe it? It's an extraterrestrial lifeform." Jay gushes.

"It's a bug. And it's not what's important right now." Cole snaps.

"Oh, there's so much we could learn from it. So much we could teach it. I'm gonna call him Glowy. Oh look, Glowy can fly. How cute." Jay comment.

"You must not-the-life. They are very-Can you hear me?" Sensei gets back online.

"I couldn't make that out, Sensei. What did you say?" Kai asks.

"The alien-They're very-," Sensei repeats.

"A-years ago scientists-meteorite that had-to Ninjago. It-came from the same comet-Inside the meteorite, there were-remains of-parasite that feeds-alloys." Nya says.

"They tickle." Zane and Jay laugh as they're covered in more beetles.

"Silly Glowy." Jay giggles.

A beetle bites Zane. "Ow!"

"Do you hear me? Whatever you- come-with the parasites. They-metal!" Nya yells.

"Please, Nya we can't hear you!" I reply.

"Argh! They're eating through my exoskeleton!" Zane cries.

"Bad, Glowy! Bad!" Jay yells, and we all start to scream, revealing our hiding spot.

"They're on me too!" Kai yells.

"They're everywhere!" Jay yells.

"Why is it that we always find ourselves in these situations! Ahh! Get it off, get it off!" I scream.

"What do we do? Any ideas, guys?" Zane asks.

"Space. Why did we come to space? If I could change any circumstance, I'd change ever coming here in the first place!" Cole yells.

"If you can't change your circumstances, change your mind," Lloyd repeats.

"Now's not the time to be quoting Wu!" Jay yells.

"No, I finally see what he means. This is just like the Starteeth. Come on, I've got an idea." They get back on the rover and chases the Nindroids while the beetles follow them, I quickly blast them, attacking every czar that was in front of us.

"Ninja!" Nindroids yell.

"Sensei meant instead of focusing on how wrong things are, focus on what's right. We have to think positive. Those parasites aren't just a menace, they're a weapon. Attack!" Lloyd yells, and the beetles distract the Nindroids, destroying some of their rovers.

"Now let's go get that launch key," Kai says.

"Ninja, go!" We defeat some Nindroids.

"Ice!" Zane freezes some Nindroids.

"Hello." Cole punchs Nindroids.

"Ninja, go! You can keep your gold." Kai steals the key. "I got it! Let's get outta here. Ninja, go!" We cheer.

"Ninja!" Cryptor yells.

"We're home free!" Jay cheers and we head back to the rocket but found it swarming with beetles, destroyed.

"The rocket. It's...destroyed." Lloyd gasps.

"Then how are we gonna get home?" I ask.

"There's no way back." Cole sighs.

"You're not the only ones who can adapt! So long, Ninja!" Cryptor laughs, as the rest of the Nindroids use rocket boosters to carry the gold back to Ninjago.

"No." Lloyd gasps.

"They got away. We failed. I repeat, they got the Golden Weapons." Kai speaks.

"Are you on the rocket? Can you stop them?" Nya asks.

"No. The ship is destroyed. We're not coming home." I repeat.
