Two years after the 2nd Frontier War, peace has been finally restored and humanity is now truly united under a single banner. After the United Earth Government collapsed, Hammond Robotics used the IMC to launch a military coup in order to control both the Core Worlds and Frontier. Despite the whole of the human race now under the control of a mega corporation, humanity was now at peace as they entered into a new golden age.

Technology, especially ones involving medical and environmental, have advanced rapidly in such a short amount of time. So much so that it helped in the daily lives of the average citizen. The end of the 2nd Frontier War had finally gotten rid of the corruption and greed of Hammond Robotics, allowing them to rebuild its reputation and bring about a new era of peace.

One of the main factors in helping to end to corruption is thanks to one individual named Kyle Winter Hammond, the Grandson of Dr. Heinrich Hammond. Thanks to him, he helped end the 2nd Frontier War and worked hard to restore his grandfather's company. Thanks to him, he helped create new inventions that benefited humanity and ensured there would be no more war.

In present day, it was considered the dawn of a new era and finally things were looking up for everyone. However, what Kyle didn't know was that he would soon be thrusted into a whole new adventure. One where he's forced to survive in a completely different universe.

========== (Scene Change) ==========

The scene changes to the planet Earth at Hammond Robotics HQ. Inside the building, specifically at the training room shows the training Pods used for Titan Pilot. The Pod opens to reveal an armored individual in white armor and a blue visor.

The faceplate of the armored helmet retracts, revealing a young man in his late teens with snow white hair and emerald, green eyes.

His name is Kyle Winter Hammond, the Grandson of Dr. Heinrich Hammond and future CEO of Hammond Robotics.

Kyle sighs as he stretched his muscles and cracked his neck after exiting the pod. He rolls his arms a bit before shutting down the pod. Soon a female voice is heard next to him as she congratulates him on completing the simulation.

???: "Excellent work Pilot. You've certainly did better than last time."

The holographic image of a woman appears at his right shoulder. Looking to his right side, Kyle sees a female with glossy white skin with blues eyes, blue lips and metallic blue hair. She wears a white, cloth neck collar tied with blue lace and cloth cuffs of her wrists tied with blue lace; a white-tipped, black lace dangles from the neck collar down to her midsection; a body-tight, blue top which wraps over her breasts and around her back, with two strips descending from her breasts merging at her belly button into one strip which continues down to her crotch.

This person his Kyle's Combat AI partner and friend named DM-2729 or Demi as he normally calls her.

Hearing her statement, Kyle nods as he asks for the time it took to complete the simulation.

Kyle: "Time?"

Demi: "20 seconds in Gauntlet. That's far better compared to your previous record."

Kyle: (sigh) "I should've done better."

Demi: "Nobody's perfect Pilot. You may be superhuman but even you still have limits. There's only so much you can do."

Kyle: (mutter) "I suppose."

Demi: "Anyway, you need to know that we've received a call to head down to the laboratory in room 303-07 on the 3rd floor down at the sub-levels. Apparently, they found something on the planet Typhon."

Kyle: (confused) "Typhon? I thought that planet was destroyed. It was literally turned to rubble when the Militia destroyed the Fold Weapon."

Demi: "Yes that's true, but there was still large debris. Some even the size of either small towns or cities. So, it was fairly easy land troops to explore to see if there was anything to salvage. While exploring, we got reports that one of our salvage teams had recovered what looked to be an alien artifact."

Hearing this got Kyle's attention.

Kyle: (curious) "An artifact you say? And it's here on Earth?"

Demi: "Yes. Rest assured this artifact was found three weeks ago and out scientists have run multiple tests on what it could be. After much analysis and reviews, the object was deemed safe and so they brought it back here to Earth for more research. Just recently they found something about the artifact and have called you down to give you the details."

Kyle: "What about my grandfather? Shouldn't he be told about this as well?"

Demi: "The higher up sent the data to Mr. Hammond. He should be reviewing it now. Let's get going. Don't wanna keep them waiting."

Kyle: (sighs and nods) "Alright... let's get going."

========== (Scene Change) ==========

Shio, still in his armor, is seen walking down the corridor as he passes by multiple IMC personnel. They gave their greetings and Kyle nodded in return before making his way to an elevator. It took a few seconds until the Titan Pilot got to the designated floor. Stepping out, Kyle descends down an escalator where's it shown that's he arrived in a hanger. Hearing the sounds of loud footsteps, Kyle looks to his left and sees the familiar sights of a Vanguard-Class Titan in IMC colors.

Demi: "Pilot, follow me. I shall escort you to the lab. Do you wish to disembark?"

Kyle: (shakes head) "Nah. Wanna stretch my legs. So, we'll walk the rest of the way there."

Demi: "Understood."

The two began walking to their destination, initiating small talk while on the way. When they got there, they saw a young woman, who is a Titan Pilot, waiting for them. Alongside her was another Vanguard-Class Titan. The female Titan Pilot looked in their direction and spoke with her arms crossed.

???: (glares) "There you are. It's about time the both of you got here."

The female in question is shown to have brown hair and eyes, with green hair dye in the back. Furthermore, she's wearing her Pilot suit with her helmet attached to her side.

This girls name is a fellow Titan Pilot named Julie Cooper.

Kyle: (shrugs) "Sorry. Hit a bit of traffic."

He then glances at the other Titan in the room.

Kyle: "Nice to see you as well BT."

BT: "Hello Mr. Hammond. You must've been informed as to why you've been called here?"

Kyle: (nods) "Yeah. I was told it was an artifact found on what was left of Typhon. My best guess it must've been alien in origin."

Julie: "You got that right. Follow me and I'll take you to the lab."

The two Titan Pilots walked towards their destination while their Titans followed behind them. While walking, the two were having a coversation.

Kyle: "How are the other members of Apex?"

Julie: "Last I heard, both Shun and Aisha were training, wanting to brush up on their skills. The others were in the break room getting food. But they are on standby in case of trouble."

Kyle nodded as they eventually made their way into the lab. The lab was huge, allowing the Titans to get in. Inside, the two Titan Pilots see two scientists who greeted them.

IMC Scientist #1: (nods) "Mr. Hammond sir. Glad you came. I'm sure you must've been informed of why you're here."

Kyle: (nods) "I did. Something about an artifact you found on Typhon."

The second scientist then spoke up.

IMC Scientist #2: "You're correct sir. If you're wondering, this is it."

He motioned to an object sitting on the table. Approaching the object, they saw what looked like a spherical object with glowing blue lights.

Both Kyle and Julie looked at the object in curiosity.

Kyle: (curious) "This is the artifact? As a matter of fact, where did you find this?"

IMC Scientist #1: "Yes sir. We found this artifact while looking at a large piece of debris. Looked to be the size of a town. We were careful, but we detected an energy signal, and we went to investigate. We did some digging, but we stumbled into what looked like a temple or ruins of some lost civilization."

Julie: (surprised) "Really?

IMC Scientist #1: (nods) "Yes ma'am. We scanned the area and found what appeared to be hieroglyphics. We gathered all the data we could, but it was what was in the middle of the temple did we see the artifact. It was giving off massive energy readings and we checked of there was any harmful radiation emanating from it, but thankfully we found none. We took the artifact and brought it back to the ship for more examinations. The results were... surprising."

Kyle: (confused) "What do you mean by surprising?"

IMC Scientists #2: "While examining the artifact, we managed to translate the hieroglyphics. According to the translation, this artifact came from an ancient civilization that existed approximately billions of years ago. They were an advanced civilization until some great cataclysm occurred that sent their civilization into ruin."

Kyle: "Is that how we managed to reverse engineer and create weapons like the Fold Weapon? They must've been a highly advanced civilization."

IMC Scientist #1: "They were sir. We believe there's still more information to gather from the ruins but given the fact that the planet was destroyed well... it might take some time."

Kyle: (nods) "I see."

He then glances towards the artifact.

Kyle: "So do you have any idea what this is? Of its purpose?"

IMC Scientist #1: "We're honestly not sure. This thing's a puzzle if you ask me. Originally, we thought it was some kind of power source, but the hieroglyphics showed it apparently had a much different purpose. According to the data translation, these extraterrestrials seemed to have used their artifact sometime in the past to apparently leave their world and go somewhere else. How that was possible, we're not sure."

Kyle: "Maybe it was used to open a portal? You said they were a highly advanced society. And given the advanced technology we saw on the planet; they must've been a civilization that far surpassed our own in terms of technology."

Julie: "That might indeed be true. I read on the ARES Division data logs. I learned that when Gen. Marder found these alien artifacts, they were advanced yet looked abandoned."

IMC Scientist #1: "Well whatever the case may be, we still need to-"

They were cut off when they heard a sound resonating from the artifact. Looking over to it, they widen their eyes in shock to see it floating in the air and it began to glow brightly.

Kyle: (narrowed eyes) "What's happening?"

IMC Scientist #1: "We're not sure sir."

IMC Scientist #2: "Good Lord it's generating a tone of energy! Maybe we should-"

Suddenly an explosion happened that sent everyone flying back, including the two Titans to fall down. Groaning, everyone is able to get back up and they widen their eyes as they see the artifact began to morph as it began to expand and form a giant circle. Soon the inner circle began to energy electricity before it formed what looked like a swirling vortex made of energy.

The group was shocked seeing the giant portal in the room, now activated because of the alien artifact.

Julie: (shocked) "Oh crud! You were definitely right! It does activate a portal!"

Kyle: "Everybody back! Now!"

They all tried to back away, but suddenly on of the IMC scientists was lifted off the ground and stared to begins floating towards the portal. The man screamed as he tried to reach out to the others.

IMC Scientists #2: (panic scream) "AAAHHHHHH! HELP ME!"

Kyle: "Hang on!"

The Titan Pilot rushes over and jumps as he grabs his arm. He tries to pull him back, but the force of the portal was too strong, forcing him also to float and head to the portal. Demi, in her Titan form, grabs Kyle by the leg as she also tries to pull her Pilot back and save the scientist. Soon Juile embarks into BT, and she tries to help out. The group struggled but Kyle manages to secure the scientist and it able to get Demi to grab him in order to set him down.

Julie: "Shut it down! Shut down the portal!"

IMC Scientists #1: "We can't! We don't know how!"

Demi: "Pilot..."

Kyle: (grunts) "What is it?"

Demi: "I don't know how long-"

Suddenly, both BT and Juile lost their grip, allowing both Kyle and Demi to be flung towards the portal. The Titan Pilot widen his eyes as he saw what was going to happen.

Kyle: (wide eyes) "Oh shi-!"

It was too late as both Kyle and Demi were sucked into the portal and it soon closed immediately. Once gone, the artifact returned to normal at the fell onto the floor. Julie screamed in horror at the fact her friend was now gone to who knows where.

Julie: (horrified scream) "KYYYLLLLLLEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

========== (Scene Change) ==========

The scene shifts to show the surface of a planet known as Copper 9. Suddenly a portal opens up and it spits out two objects that land hard on the ground. The two were revealed to be Kyle and Demi what have just arrived in an unknown location.

Demi is the first to reactivate and stand up as she surveys her surroundings. She looks around to see they're on a world that now appears to be in a winter apocalypse. She then glances down as Kyle and nudges him to get up.

Demi: "Pilot? Pilot, wake up."

Kyle groans as he manages to get back up. He felt a bit disoriented by is able to shake it off. Still with his helmet on, he uses his visor and is surprised to see the area they found themselves in.

Kyle: (surprised) "Where are we? 

Demi: "Unkown. I'll try to triangulate our location and try to send out a distress signal back to Hammond Space."

As Demi was doing that, Kyle's eyes soon caught something at the distance. Curious, he makes his way over and zooms in on the object with his visor. He's shocked at what he sees up close.

Kyle widens his eyes in utter shock when he was the giant spire made of what could only be described as corpses.

Kyle: (wide eyes) "Oh crap... where the hell am I now?"

(A/N: Finally, I'm done. The story is now finally back. Despite how the series is going, I really hope there's a chance where Hammond Robotics/IMC fights against JCJenson. Anyway, tune in next time for new chapters.)
