We see Shirley in class as she sat on her desk and couldn't stop thinking about last night and what she saw. She remembered thaf the pilot she pointed her weapon at was in fact Y/n L/n this whole time. She couldn't stop thinking about that all this time a mysterious yet kind friend they met is actually apart of the Alliance and is a pilot.

She was lost to her thoughts when Lelouch came over to her desk.

Lelouch: Are you okay Shirley?

She snaps out of her thoughts and looks up to see Lelouch as she gets up and reply with anode.

Shirley: (smile) Yeah I'm doing good. Just thinking about something that's all.

Lelouch: Are you still thinking about your father? I know it might be hard but we'll get through of this.

Shirley: Yeah.....your right. Thank you Lelouch.

The two hold hands and they kissed and after they she left the class when she check her phone and see she got a text from Y/n. She remembered her and the others share their info with him and at first she wanted to block him but sees he wanted to meet up with him.

She is a bit nervous and wasn't sure if she could call the Britannian Police or anyone. She thinks about this for a moment and after a while she reply to his text and once that she heads off to meet up with him.

(Later)

She arrived at the location which was under a bridge as she looks around and after seeing everything is clear she goes in. At the middle she sees him looking down at his phone and when she approaches him he puts it away and looks up at the ceiling of the bridge and ask her.

Y/n: So......you know who I am?

Shirley:......Yes.

Y/n:........(sigh).....I didn't mean to keep this a secret from you Shirley but......you have to understand.

Shirley: Understand how? The fact that your apart of an empire that seeks to destroy the peace and freedom the Britannians has given us?

Y/n: Is that what they have been telling you? "Peace" "freedom?" That's something to laugh about.

Shirley: This isn't a joke! Your apart of a terrorist!

Y/n: That's not true. The Britannians are the enemies here, not us.

Shirley: The Britannian empire has done nothing but good for the world.

Y/n: Is that so? Tell me Shirley? Tell me the story how the Britannians pushed the Alliance away from Earth?

Shirley: Well.....they told us many years ago the Alliance was filled with corruption and power hungry leaders who seek to take away what they went. The Britannian Empire rise up and push back the Alliance until they left Earth.

Y/n: I see. So they made up this story that the Alliance are the bad guys, correct?

Shirley: Yes. Why? You have proof that says otherwise?

Y/n: Actually I have.

He pulled out his phone and opene up something and when he shows it to Shirley it was a video as he goes on to explain.

Y/n: There was a campaign that happened in Russia years back and the news reports states that the Alliance took the whole county hostage and lives were lost. Well.....look at this.

He plays the video and it shows Alliance grunts he evacuating innocent people to the subway when suddenly there was gunfire as Alliance grunts return fire but soon gets shot down and Britannian troops came down the steps ans see all the civilian. Then they begin to fire at the civilians as screams and cries are heard while Shirley cover her mouth after seeing the massacre.

Y/n: 147 people died on thus subway. Either those at the platform or try to escape in the tunnels. Some made it out but all.....where killed.

Shirley: (shocked) Th-This have to fake?

Y/n: Okay what about the Shinjuku Ghetto. The news staid there was a terrorist attack and lives were lost because of the terrorist but in reality...it was them.

He then show her nothing footage this time security footage of innocent civilians being gunned does by Britannians within their Sutherland as it changes to each security footage of more civilians being executed by Britannian forces even the children or elderly were not safe.

Y/n: Those civilians were Japanese civilians that have to live at poor areas that Britannians either abuse them or kill. They never cared about who is who because they are not pure Britannian so it doesn't matter any of them as long they are dead.

Shirley: (shocked) Oh my god.......it all make sense. But why......why would they do this?

Y/n: Because they are monsters. They kill whoever they believe is a "thing" and never give anyone a chance to live in peace. The Britannians will never stop until they succeed their goal.

Shirley: So that's why you storm off after the funeral when Suzaku-

Y/n: Yeah. That's right.......you see.....my father was also a soldier but he was a pilot for the Alliance. His partner was Prophet and he died saving my life. But was not with him I lost.....I lost my home.....my mother.....my friends.......I lost everything and everyone I cares for all because of the Britannian empire. All of this pilots, grunts and even high ranking military leaders lost their family and friends and they too seek to make the Britannian empire pay for what they have done. The reason I'm telling and showing you all of this is because I want you to understand that I'm not the bad guy.....the one who is giving you all of this are.

Shirley has no idea what to say but then she ask him.

Shirley: I'm I bad? I'm also Britannian and my father is a Britannian soldier. Are we bad?

Y/n:.......No. You and your family are just blinded by the news and propaganda that show you and to every singal civilian in the world. I want you to understand Shirley that we are people no matter what Britannian says about. We wish to be equal and justice to those who we lost.

He then begins to turn and walks away from Shirley but he stop and tells her.

Y/n: You can call the police and report to me.....but this isn't gonna stop us bringing peace and freedom to this world. This is our home Shirley, not Britannians.

Shirley have her phone ready but hearing his story and the truth about the Britannian empire she puts it away and called out.

Shirley: Wait! I......I'll keep your secret. You maybe the Britannians enemy but if what you are saying is true.......then....I will do my best to secretly support the Alliance.

A small smile appear on his face ashe turn to Shirley and tells her.

Y/n: (smile) Thank you Shirley.

Shirley also smiles and nodes and so the two go their separate ways and we see Y/n walking by the street when a black limo drive by which he stops and when the window screen opens he sees who is it so he goes inside and once inside the limo drives off.

Inside we see Y/n sitting across of Zero with C2 next to him as Zero ask him.

Zero: So Shirley knows what side you are?

Y/n: Yes but she promised to keep it a secret.

Zero: Very good. Because I have a gift for you.

Y/n: What gift?

C2 hand him a file which he opens and reads through the information.

Zero: We believe the Britannian empire is uncovering soke sort an ancient ruined somewhere in the south Pole. They believe to be alien in origin.

Y/n: Alien in origin? You get to tell me there is possible an alien ship or whatever it is st the south Pole?

Zero: That is correct.

C2: We cannot allow the Britannian forces to retrieve whatever it might be so they are sending Alpha Team to investigate the area, locate it, retrieve whatever is there and destroy it. You'll be going dark due to the weather that is going on at the South Pole.

Y/n: I see. Is this part of your elite test on my Zero?

Zero: You are correct. I wanna see how functional your team maybe without any aide or communication.

Y/n: Can't tell your testing us or doing your work. Can't you sent out any teams to investigate?

C2: Most of them are with KIA, MIA or not available. Besides your team is shown to be the best of the best and have a extreme luck.

Zero: This mission is very important and we cannot risk the Britannians getting the upper hand. You and your team will be deployed tomorrow morning.

Y/n: Understood.

Soon they arrive back at the Alliance base as Y/n climbs out and make his way inside. Once inside he come across Kallen as she called him over.

Kallen: So did you tell Shirley that-?

Y/n: Yeah I did and no....I didn't tell her about you.

Kallen: I don't care about me I care about you. She basically saw you wearing pilot gear and I'm just worry she might.

Y/n: You know Shirley will not do that. Besides I'm here right?

Kallen: Yeah that's true. I'm sorry it's just.....I don't to lose someone closes to me again. It hurts.

He then pulled her for a hug which surprised her but she hug back as the two hug each other.

Y/n: I know and I'm sorry for worrying you like that. I'll be careful next time.

Kallen: You better.

The two of them look at each other and then Kallen lend over and kissed him. This surprised him but he kissed her back and the two kissed for a short moment and then they stop and look at each other.

Soon they go their separate ways and soon Kallen turn a corner and come across Rily as she smirked and ask.

Rily: (smirk) How was it?

Kallen: (jumped) Where the hell did you.......Well.....it was great. Just hope Shirley won't betray him.

Rily: I may not know who Shirley is but I hope she wouldn't. Y/n has gone through a lot and lost so many.....he doesn't want to get back stabbed by someone who trust.

Kallen: Can't blame him. If I was betrayed I would be upset.

Rily nodes and then she wrap her arm around Kallen and tells her while dragging her away.

Rily: (smile) Let's get something to drink shall we?

Kallen: I-I guess.

(Meanwhile)

We see Adam look at a holo table of a hologram of the a Britannian digging site and then Zero enter the room.

Adam: You told Y/n about his and his teams mission?

Zero: Yes.

Adam: Right. Well our scouts came back and i believe I'll add in two pilots to assist them on this mission. I hope you don't mind?

Zero: No its alright. Who are these two pilots your sending down?

Adam: The Alliance Council has sent us two elite class of Pilots. These elite pilots are known as "The Phantoms." Staff Sargent Lily and Corporal Hannah. These class of pilots are trained to use their skills of parkour and stealth abilities to get behind enemy lines and assassinated or cost as enough destruction they can to weaken the enemy.

Zero: How come I never heard about this?

Adam: That's because they are apart of a black ops class of the Alliance military meaning their units and teams under within the Black ops class are covered in ink.

Zero: I see. Well let's see how skilled they really area when it comes to Alpha Team.

Adam just simply node as they look over the plan for Alpha Team and two Phantom pilots mission to the South Pole tomorrow.
