Chapter 1

"There was a time, when I was alone. Nowhere to go and nowhere to call home. My only friend was the man in the moon," I sang as I walked deep into the dark forest a good walk from my house. I loved that song. It was called Lost boy by Ruth B. My favorite part was the chorus.

{This is Clara Jackson. She's a Human. She's a super nice and helpful girl. If you ever needed anything, she'd go to the ends of the earth and back to help you. 😊}

"Ever since that day. I am a lost boy. Usually hanging out with Petter Pan. And when we're bored, we play in the woods. Always on the run from Captain Hook," I sang. Soon, I finished my song as I neared my destination.

"Ah ho ma ho to," A familiar voice sang. I drew closer to the voice. I knew the boy it belonged to. I hadn't see him in years. I smiled as I entered the clearing.

{This is Argon. (Pronounced Air-gone.) He's a really sweet guy. 😉}

There he stood. Argon Night. Argon was the son of Tarragon Night, king of the Titan Elves. The Titan Elves were a race of Human sized Elves. They rarely have anything to do with Humans. That was, till Argon met me.

{This is Tarragon Night. (Pronounced Terra-gone) His not a huge fan of Clara. 😔}

"Argon! You're home!" I cried as I raced towards him. Argon jumped and spun around to hug me.

Argon looked at me, his big sapphire colored eyes sparkled like a thousand stars. He smiled gently at me, but something was trying to hide behind that smile. I pulled away.

"Clara?" Argon asked.

"You have to leave again, don't you?" I asked. Argon smiled and shook his head no. He held out his hand.

"Come. I have something important to ask you," he said. I smiled as I placed my hand in his. Together, we walked deeper into the forest. I watched as the trees turned into hollow tree houses teeming with Titan Elves.

'I can't believe it. Argon's father forbid him to ever bring me here. Why is he disobeying his father?" I thought to myself. I stopped in my tracks, which startled Argon.

"You okay?" He asked.

I pulled my hand away from his and back away as I looked around. Everyone was staring at me. I didn't like it. I wished I could disappear. I felt tears threatening to fall.

"Clara? Are you okay?" Argon asked. He took a step towards me. I took a step back. Argon gave me a look that told me he was hurt by my actions.

I took a deep breath and said, "I don't want you to get into trouble because you brought me here."

Argon smiled at me. "I won't get in trouble. Father told me to bring you here," he said.

"He did?" I asked.

Argon nodded.
