•Do carry a notebook with you wherever you go, so you'll aways be prepared when inspiration strikes. Remember that your story will grow over time, and you won't get all your answers in one day.

•Don't feel that you have to use all of your ideas in your book , they might not all work together. You can always save some for the sequels.

•Do ask your friends or family to read your work. Listening to other people's opinions will help to take your story in directions you perhaps hadn't though of.

•Don't get upset if you revive criticism. Take on any advise on board and be prepared to rewrite your story to make it the best it can be.

•Do edit your book or get your friend or a family member to reread it and fix any errors, make the story better by adding things in there,
