Help your book be at least a little well-known. This isn't always necessary, but if you're writing a book that's likely to attract little interest, then you should step up your game.

There are some books where you can comment on "Comment Your Stories" sections so that people can check them out. That's a big start. Tags also help a ton, so make sure to add a bunch!
