When you reach a... a somewhat low level of decent popularity (I mean as in something like 50-100 followers), you'll eventually be tagged to something.

Do the tag. It's a pain in the butt when you're popular, but I think doing tags actually helps your popularity status.

EDIT: Whoops, I meant like receiving a decent amount of notifications/followers. 50-100 followers is just average in my opinion, according to my unpopular accounts that are after this one.
