Even tho your little one is in the mind of a child, it is still incredibly important to listen to what they have to say. Being little doesn't make them any less human, they just need some help.

Just as you want your little to listen to you they want you to listen to them.

Say before you give them a reward or a punishment and they're trying to say something, let them. Maybe they're confused on why they're receiving this. You need to listen so you can explain things to them.

Take your little's tears seriously

We all know that (alot of) littles can and will cry over anything and everything, tho this cam seem like an often occurrence you still need to take it seriously. When they're in littlespace things can be overwhelming or scary and sometimes they're still processing what's happening. If their crying, no matter what, you need to stop what your doing and help calm them down. This includes if you're currently punishing them. Also, if that's the case do not yell at your little. It's your responsibility to help your little, that especially includes when they're in distress.
