Tintin and the Hospital.
I was watching a funny YouTube video when I came up with this. Enjoy.
Being in the hospital was a common occurrence for Tintin. Being the adventuresome journalist he was, it was no surprise that he would end up in the hospital a few times a year. When he started dating (Y/n) though, he did his best to lessen the amount of trips so she wouldn't worry about him too much. But after the first few times, she was pretty much used to it.
After a few years of adventures, traveling, and of course, hospital visits, Tintin decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and asked her to marry him. She happily said yes to him. They were soon married and living a wonderful life full of adventure, mystery, and as always, hospital visits. And today was one of those visits.

"He should be coming around soon. The bullet only grazed his ribs. He's lucky it didn't do more damage." The doctor said as he flipped through his charts. (Y/n) sat by the bed while holding her husband's hand with an exasperated smile. "You're oddly calm about your husband getting shot." The doctor said looking worried.
"After the first few times it happens, you just get used to it. He always manages to get himself into trouble." She said with a shrug as she leant down to scratch Snowy's head. "Alright then. When he wakes up, he might be a little out of it. It's just a side effect of the anesthesia." The doctor said before leaving to care for his other patients.
(Y/n) stroked her husband's fiery red hair as he began to wake up. He looked around the room in a confused daze. "What happened?" He groggily asked. "You got shot. Again." (Y/n) said with a smile. Tintin looked at (Y/n) in wonder before speaking.
"Did I die? Am I in heaven? Are you an angel?" He asked. "No. You're at the hospital. The doctor fixed you right up. Soon you'll be back on your feet and chasing down crooks again." (Y/n) said placing her hand on his shoulder. He relaxed in the bed and sighed. "That's a relief. But if you aren't an angel, then who are you? What's your name?"
"My name's (Y/n). I'm your wife." She said trying not to laugh. Tintin's head shot up from the pillow. "You're MY wife?!" He asked as he pointed to himself. (Y/n) nodded while giggling. "Great snakes! I've hit the jackpot!" He said with a drunken smile. "Wow. You're really my wife?" He asked in disbelief. (Y/n) smiled and grabbed his hand.
"Yes. We've been married for a while now." She said stroking his hand and showing her the ring he got her. He took her hand and examined the ring. "Wow. Have we kissed yet?" He asked. (Y/n) was trying very hard not to laugh as she nodded. "Yes, we've kissed."
"Do we live together? In a house?" He asked. "Yes we live together in your apartment. Along with Snowy." She said lifting Snowy onto the bed. Tintin smiled as he began to pet his canine friend. "Hello there Snowy. Can you believe it? I got married to an angel!" He said to his dog. (Y/n) couldn't take it anymore. She began to laugh.
Just as she did, their dear friend Captain Haddock came in. "Hello there lad. How are you feeling?" He asked taking his cap off. "I'm doing fantastic! I just found out I got married to the most beautiful woman on the earth!" Tintin said excitedly as he held up their intertwined hands. (Y/n) began to laugh even harder.
"Of course you are lad. You've married for almost two years." Haddock said, confused by what was going on. Tintin looked wide eyed at his wife in wonder. "Two years?! I've been married to you for two years?! That's amazing! I'm the luckiest man in the world!" He said throwing his arms into the air in joy.
He took (Y/n)'s hand and kissed it. "Wow. Two years. Did I forget our anniversary?" He asked worried. (Y/n) giggled at her husband. "No. Not yet at least." She replied. He sighed in relief. "Thank heavens. I promise to never miss an anniversary. Ever. I'll make you breakfast in bed and get you flowers every anniversary." He said kissing his wife on the cheek. "Aww. You're so sweet." She said.
Haddock stood by the bed, still confused as to what was going on. "It's just a side effect of the anesthesia they gave him. He'll sleep it off when we get home." She whispered to the Captain. "Ah. I see now." He said chuckling at his friend.
"I'm so lucky. I never thought that I would get married to the most beautiful woman on earth." Tintin said holding (Y/n)'s hand to his cheek as tears of joy fell from his eyes. "Oh honey." (Y/n) cooed as she dried his eyes and kissed his forehead.
"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy." He said smiling. Haddock watched the young couple with a smile on his face. "Aww. I'll leave you two lovebirds be. Call me when he gets out and I'll drive you home." He said putting his cap back on and taking his leave.
"Alright Captain. I'll call you later." (Y/n) said waving to the Captain as he left. She turned back to her husband to see him gazing lovingly at her. She smiled back at him. He placed his hand against her cheek and stroked it. "Can I kiss you?" He whispered as he leaned closer. (Y/n) giggled at his politeness and nodded, closing the gap between them and sharing a tender kiss.

Hey everyone! Merry belated Christmas! I haven't been writing because of some major life changes. I don't update that often anymore because of either lack of motivation, or busy with life. But when ideas pop up or a good suggestion is made, I might write it. But thanks for all the love nonetheless.
