"Do you realize what you have done, Alana?" Sara shouted pressing the bridge of her nose.

Miyoung sat there in front of the higher ups, staring down at her hands that rested in her lap, thumbs twiddling as Sara paced back and fourth.

"This could ruin your whole career!" Sara continued.

"Miyoung. Do you realize what would have happened if the rumor had spread any more than it had?" Another manager said.

Sitting there in the spotlight, Miyoung took deep breathes and tried to calm the anxiety that kept bubbling in her stomach.

The CEO slid a file across the desk without saying a word. Sara picked it up and opened it, reading a few sentences before shaking her head and sighing. "Choi Yeonjun of rookie group, Tomorrow X Together, involved in major bullying scandal involving multiple victims that are active idols.." She read before shutting the folder.

"Why?"

"How could you do this?"

"This just put your career AND Tomorrow X Together's in jeopardy."

The higher ups continued to discuss various consequences that the company would face. All of their voices echoed through Miyoung's head. Her vision slowly blurring, the edges of her eyes stinging with tears, the room began to spin and before she knew it. Everything went dark.

Miyoung's eyes fluttered open, groaning as the light reached her eyes. Her whole body was exhausted from the night prior. Turning to lay on her side, she looked at the time. It was a little passed nine in the morning, which made her groan once more, she would usually be up hours beforehand.

Picking up her phone, she switched it on to find a couple unread messages. One from Sara, letting Miyoung know that she had cancelled the schedule for the day. And two other messages, from Soobin and Yeonjun,

"Hey, wanted to let you know that we got home safe and me and Soobin talked and we are all good so don't you worry." Yeonjun said. "I hope that you know that I meant what I said when I said I forgave you. Text me if you need anything."

A small smile grew on her lips as she reread the message again and again before typing, "Thank you."

Hitting send she opened the message from Soobin.

"Hi, I'm sorry for the way I acted last night, I didn't mean to cause a scene... I was just really worried." The text had read. "I hope everything is okay. I spoke to Yeonjun and he told me that he was there just to give you an ear." It continued. "I honestly have no idea why I got so upset at him last night but we are okay now. I'm sorry again. I will text you after practice today."

"It's okay." Miyoung typed out before pressing send, placing her phone down and turning to lay on her back.

Staring up at the ceiling, she could physically feel how tired her brain was from the night prior. Her body felt heavy and fatigue. She knew that she needed to get up but her body wouldn't listen to her. Slowly she sat up, running a hand through her long hair trying to stir up enough energy to move out of bed and at least try to eat something. Or even just to get out of bed.

Her phone then began to vibrate indicating she was recieving a call. She picked the phone up and answered it without looking at the caller id.

"Hello?"

"Hey. Let's talk." A familiar voice said on the other line.

Miyoung blinked, trying to register a face to the voice on the other line.

"Miyoung?"

It was Kai. Kai had called her first. And he wants to talk. To say a wave of relief washed over her was an understatement, she almost screamed actually.

"Hi. Yes. Of course." She said quickly snapping herself back into reality.

"I think this would be better to speak about in person rather than over the phone." He said bluntly. "Meet you in the practice room on the fifth floor?"

"Y-yeah. Okay, sounds good. I'll head there a little before noon if that's alright."

"Should be fine. I'll be in there most of the day regardless."

"Okay. I'll see you there."

"See ya." He said before the call dropped.

The phone fell from her hand as she sat there in a bundle of excitement, nervousness and fear. Excited because Kai wanted to talk to her. HE contacted her first, which is a big first step. Nervous because she didn't know how the conversation would go. And scared because if the conversation turned out bad, she could have a whole other break down but this time in front of him.

"This is fine." She reassured herself. "Everything is going to be fine."

Hopping up out of bed, she started getting ready. Sending a quick text to Sara letting her know that she would be at the company.

"Alana!!" Kai shouted tugging on Miyoung's arm.

"Kai, I said we can practice together after my Korean lessons." She laughed at the younger.

"But your lessons always take forever." He pouted.

He was right, the lessons seemed to get harder each day and that only made her struggle more and more.

"Can't you do your lessons after we practice? I really want to show you this new move me and the guys just learned." He said, tugging her once again in the direction of the practice room.

"Kai I really should practice..."

"Alana I won't get to spend time with you as often soon.. please?" His eyes pleaded, looking at her with puppy dog eyes.

But he was right. The news of a new boy group being released under Bighit Entertainment had just been released and it was the talk of the century. The first boy group to debut under the company since the world wide sensation, BTS. Huening Kai and the boys will soon be too busy to so much as see Miyoung.

She sighed and pushed away the thought from her mind before giving Kai a cheerful smile. "Skipping lessons just once wont be too bad.."

His face beamed at her words, releasing her arm and doing a little skip towards the practice room knowing Miyoung would be right behind him.

She watched the younger skip with joy, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.

She would miss as many practices, as many lessons, as many meetings... anything to see them smiling and happy. This time was the most precious and she would cherish every single second until it was time for them to part ways.
