I felt a hand on my shoulder so I looked up to the person. I expected to see the girl but instead it was the wolf-person-whatever-their-name-is that gave me the weird liquid.

I jumped back and hit his hand off my shoulder. I looked around and I seemed to now be in a small tent on a very uncomfortable makeshift bed.

"What just happened to me and where am I?"

"You just went through your very first transformation. We all see different things when we transform for the first time. Usually something that we care about, but sometimes it's something that we hate with all our being..." He paused. "You don't seem to be crying or freaking out so I'm guessing that it was something good."

He backed up a bit and went out of the tent. He leaned down so that I could see his face. "It's ok to come out now. You need to get used to your senses anyway because you need to start training soon."

Well that was weird... I think to myself as I slowly crawl out of the tent.

I get out of the tent, stand up, and brush the hay off of me. Apparently I was laying on hay. Anyway, I take a look around. There are wolf people everywhere. There are other tents, tens... No. Hundreds. Some are in little groups and some were taken apart and seen together to create bigger ones.

Then there was a huge one. It looked beautiful, unlike the other tents. Other than the tents in this large open area, there were giant trees all around us. Like they were protecting us.

I came back into focus and saw the same wolf person standing there looking around too.

"Yeah I know. Kinda cool right?" He said to me.

I didn't answer. I didn't feel like answering, because I felt like he could sense that I would answer yes anyway. We just kinda stood there in silence.

"Ok well that's enough enjoying the scenery." He cleared his throat and looked at me. "Time to teach you how things work around here."
