Last Night

After River had collapsed into the Time Lords who had stared at the woman before going into a slight panic the Doctor gently placed River on the glass floor.

"River? Are you ok?" He asked while the Stone checked the woman's pulse and rolled her eyes. Not that the Doctor noticed, he was too busy worrying about River "Talk to me...ok, um... uh...breath, breathe, come on. Gotta keep breathing...uh..." he looked up and noticed the Stone looking at him with a raised eyebrow. The Time Lord sighed, putting two and two together.  "River. You are holding your breath."

"You're a fine one to talk about holding." River teased with a smirk. The Stone shook her head. "Sister, how many hands does your husband have?" The Doctor opened then closed his mouth speechless. "You need to keep him on a lead."

"He was concerned River." The Stone protested, narrowing her eyes seeing the Doctor clearly looking very uncomfortable about Rivers accusation of what he was doing.

"Of course he was." The blonde chuckled.

The Doctor looked between the two women before he snapped. "Get up!" The Time Lord moved towards the console. "What are you doing here? Who's shooting at you?"

"Oh just a few Sontarans." River shrugged. "Chased me halfway across the galaxy. I probably shouldn't have asked them if they were on a hen night."

"River you can't do things like that!" He exclaimed.

"Or what?" She shrugged. "You've already had me banged up in jail for 5 years, what else are you gonna do-"

"Do not finish that sentence or I'll find a way to double your jail time." The Stone warned.

River held up her hands before she looked up and noticed the dress hanging on the console and frowned. "Doctor have you brought someone else here?" She asked. "Does anyone agree to wear that dress?" She snorted. "Are you two having a divorce? Who do I have to kill? Where is she?"

"What?" The Doctor asked. "No, we're not who do we look like, your parents, we don't have divorces, that's human stuff."

"What?" River asked.

The Doctor shook hid head and sighed. "River think it through..."

"This happened the last time we were here." River groaned. "Honestly you have a wife standing right next to you yet you bring someone else!"

"No I didn't!" He protested.

"Yes you did!" She replied. "I heard you talking to her!"

"It's the same night!" He huffed.

"Doctor..." The first River spoke up and walked in as the other left  "Were you talking to someone?"

"Only the Stone." He replied.

River nodded and left, the second River then poked her head into the console room."Were you talking to someone?!"

"Only the Stone."

A third River then entered from the main doors of the TARDIS, the Stone groaned and lightly hit her head on the console, the Doctor raised a brow at his wife who shook her head after a moment. "I just needed to do that, don't question it Doctor."

"Okay." He replied, knowing it was better to agree rather than question the Time Lady.

The third River opened her mouth to say something but frowned spotting the Stones purple dress. She tilted her head slightly in confusion "Did you buy the Stone another of the same dress?" She asked before noticing the Time Lady wasn't wearing the dress. "Or did he replace it?"

The Doctor sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. Only this would happen to him and his wife. "River could you just check the light on top?" He asked the woman. "I think the bulb needs changing."

"The bulb?" River repeated and looked at the Stone.

The Time Lady nodded in agreement. "I think I saw it flickering earlier."

The third River exited the TARDIS as the second entered. "Did someone just leave the TARDIS?" She questioned. "Who were you two sneaking around?"

"No one." The Doctor replied. "I think it's time for you to go back to Stormcage Dr. Song." He then soniced her Vortex Manipulator.

"Oh..." River groaned. "Can't you at least give me a lift? You know what this thing does to my hair!"

The Stone rolled her eyes. "River, it's always like that." She then disappeared.

The third River then disappeared followed by another Doctor. The Stones eyebrows rose. "I wasn't expecting that..."

The Doctor slowly nodded. "River!" The second Doctor shouted. "Wrong TARDIS, the Stone parked her around back..." He then glanced at himself. "Younger version."

"Two of you!" River looked over at the Stone and smirked. "Do you want me to leave the three of you alone sister?"

"River!" The two or rather three Time Lords exclaimed, looking at her in horror.

"What!" She shrugged. "Don't tell me you haven't thought of that before."

The Stone rolled her eyes while the future Doctor sighed. "Come on, we'll be late, River, my stone, your niece and the other Stone are waiting in the TARDIS, she needs to get back to her Doctor." His eyes suddenly widened while the Doctors eyes snapped up to his own wifes. "Oh my three Stones..." His eyes widened. "This is very bad."

The current Time Lords frowned at the other Doctor. "What?" The current Doctor narrowed his eyes at the other. "What did you do?"

"Me?!" He exclaimed while waving his hands about. "I didn't do anything, she came into my TARDIS by accident. "She said she just came from a hotel but I rather doubt that as she seemed so relieved when she found me and the TARDIS, then someone else arrived... I hope she doesn't remember that, being a major secret and all."

"What are you going on about?" The Doctor asked and looked at his Stone. "Am I really this confusing dear?"

"Not usually." She hummed. "You can be on bad days though." She glanced at her husband for a moment. "Why was I looking for you though?" She frowned. "It's rare that we ever leave each other's side nowadays." She looked at the future Doctor. "Did I say what was wrong?"

"Secrets." The future Doctor replied.

The two Time Lords nodded in defeat, they would just have to find out themselves when the time came.

River then smiled. "The Doctor and the Stone are taking me to the Singing Towers of Darillium! They've been promising for ages!" She then left the TARDIS to head for the other one.

"The first time we met her at the Library, when she..." The Doctor began only for the other to nod and finish his sentence

"Died, yes."

"She said the last time she saw us was at Darillium...is that now?"

"...secrets. Good luck tonight."

"You too."

The Doctor sighed and nodded. "Yeah."

The future Doctor then winked at the Stone who rolled her eyes when her Doctor placed his arm around her. "It's you idiot, you can't get jealous of yourself."

"Oh, I can." The Doctor chuckled and kissed her cheek.

The current River then enterted the console room. "Oh! There's two of you! Do you want me to leave the three of you alone sister?"

"River!" The Time Lords shouted again.

River held up her hands. "Don't tell me either of you hasn't thought of that."

"Shall we just go?" The Stone suggested.

"But I haven't even changed."

"And you never will River, never ever." The Stone smiled as the future Doctor left.

"Doctor, what was the other you doing here?"

"Sorry, can't say."

"What's that word you use?" She asked.

"Spoilers." He nodded.

"I like that word." She replied. "You use a different word don't you, Stone?"

"Secrets." She nodded.

River shook her head. "You two and your secrets, you'll both be the death of me."

The Time Lords both sneaked a glance at each other with a slightly saddened look on their faces before they both turned to pilot the TARDIS.
