So sometimes I like to pretend I can ART.

But due to the intense ball of chaos that my life has been for well over a year, I couldn't put pencil to paper. Until the past few days were I took some time out during my lunch break to de-stress.

So of the quick sketches, roughly drawn on scrap paper, I thought that maybe you guys would like to see these.

FIRST UP.

'Counting Stars' - a scene with Thranduil, Clara, and little Legolas before they became a family in the beginning of To Live Again.

I think I love these three so much because they just signify hope. Every time I doubt my dreams, my work, my words, or myself, I return to this simple story I made and feel comforted. Acceptance and respect leads to healing love.

SECOND SURPRISE.

I have a wonderful Author Friend who has become like a sister and so much more. We bonded when she asked me to help her with research for her Historical romance novel based on the Viking Invasion of Ireland. I was so fortunate to be a part of that books conception and design, but more then that it has become one of my favourite books of all time. And I drew her two main - AMAZING -Characters.

This is a pivotal ant wonderful scene in the story. Neither the girl or Viking man understand a word of each other's languages. Here, in his greatest need, the Irish heroine, with no way to comfort him, holds him in her arms. Touch - the greatest show of human compassion and love.  'A powerful message.'
