Mother: Haley Mason is a single mother that is very close with her daughter. They often have money troubles. Haley works at River Way. She had Ryan when she was a teenager. 

Father: Jonah Benson was a teenager when Ryan was born but he does not even know she exists. Haley has tried to contact him because she knows Ryan is curious about her father but they can't find him. He lives in Minnesota. 

Siblings & Notable Family Members: Ryan is an only child but is quite close with her cousins. Annabelle Wiley (16), Alexis Wiley (13), Andrew Wiley (10), and Archie Wiley (5). Her cousins and their parents often try to help Ryan and Haley with their money troubles. Lastly, her second cousins, Bridget & Cami McEnroe, are on the Teen team at River Way. Ryan hadn't really had any friends before season 1, and hoped that when she comes back to River Way she can make more friends and stay friends with her old ones. In season 2, she quickly becomes close with Denver Vaughn, Tess Austen-Harbor, Reagan Murphy, Dylan Garvey, Emma Larkin, and is also super close with her cousins Bridget and Cami McEnroe. Ryan considers Denver to be her best friend.
