EARLY LIFE

Ryan has always just lived with her and her mom, Haley. They are very close and Haley can be protective of Ryan. Her dad doesn't know she exists. She started dancing at River Way when she was 5 because her mom got a job at the studio. She had always been a weaker link on the team and didn't have much natural talent, but made up for it with her hard work and motivation. She didn't have a lot of friends until the first season of the RP. 

SEASON 1 

Ryan worked super hard in season 1. She went from being one of the weakest links on the team to a Nationals soloist (even though she didn't place that well). She made lots of friends and had started acting and modeling over the summer before the season started. Sadly, towards the end of the season her family started to have money troubles, bad money troubles. During her solo, her mind was obviously elsewhere and she didn't perform very well, ultimately resorting to a ninth place solo at Nationals. Near the middle of the season, Ryan's grandfather got very sick which put her mind elsewhere for a couple of weeks. 

SEASON 2

Because of their money troubles, Haley had to pull Ryan from the competition team for most of season 2. Ryan still worked hard to keep her technique and skills up to par with other dancers so when she could rejoin she wouldn't have regressed as much. She still did regress a bit, but not as much as she could have. 

For week 7, Stacy convinced Haley to put Ryan back on the junior team. Ryan was ecstatic, and had missed competing so much.
