It had been a week since the Uvodni ship. I yawned as I trudged downstairs for breakfast. Sitting down heavily on the chair I let my head down onto my arms.

"Morning sunshine." I grunted in response to my Mum. My head rested on my arms as I pulled myself round.

"You look horrible this morning." Clyde attempted to joke.

"Get lost Clyde." i grumbled the phone started ringing just as mum put food in front of me.

"Kate." she handed me the phone

"Hello." I mumble not looking at who was calling.

"Katie? Is everything alright? You're not answering your phone. I got your distress signal and when I got there, I couldn't find you." The panicked voice of my Dad rung though my eardrum. I sat up rubbing my eyes.

"I'm fine."

"Are you? You sound off." he questioned still concerned as I began to have some of my breakfast.

"I just woke up. like five minutes ago."

"Oh, right well. I'm landing  so come when your ready."

"Yeah, bye." I hung up

"So are you meeting your dad again love?"

"Yeah." I mumbled and continued to eat breakfast. Once I finished I washed and changed  before kissing my mum and brother. I grabbed my skateboard and headed to the park I saw the Tardis before skidding to a stop. I opened the door and smiled.

"Now you call?"

"Well."

"Dad it's been a week since I sent you a distress signal. You lock on. I'm not there? Shocker."

"No i literally just got there. My timing is off. We were just on that ship and I called you." He brought me into a bear hug.

"What happened?"

"Kidnapped by a delusional  General. I panicked and sent it. But turns out I had it, what would Dad do, you were there even if it wasn't in person." he wrapped me up in his embrace and kissed my head.

--3rd Person-

-one month later-

Kate slept soundly in her bed until it was broken  by a constant ringing. She graded and turned grabbing her phone. One new text message appeared, huffing she opened it.

Emergancy program five activated.

Kate sat bolt upright and read the message again, not she wasn't dreaming. She bolted out of be and grabbed a box from the bopotom of the wardrobe, inside was a vortex manipulator. Kate attached it to her wrist then grabbed her phone, sending a quick message then dropping it beside her and pressed enter on the manipulator.

Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde and Maria were all woken up by their phones, each checking the time before opening the message.

Katelyn - S.O.S The attic.

That woke the four up. Luke and Sarah jane came out of their rooms and glanced at each other before going up to the attic. There was no sign of the young woman. A few minutes later Maria arrived.

"Katie sent a text, where is she?" Maria questioned them

"We got the same, she's not here though." A panting Clyde joined them five minutes later with the same reason.

"What's going on?" Clyde questioned. Just then Mr Smith opened up with a fan fair confusing everyone.

"Emergancy program one activated. Playing message." he spoke and then a hologram of Kate came up in front of them.

"Kate what the hell?" Clyde questioned

"Clyde, Luke, Maria, Sarah Jane. If your seeing this message then Mr Smith has been activated at the proximity of your phones after emergency text was activated." she began as they all gathered around

"It's a pre recorded message." Maria breathed.

"I bet your fussing Clyde, typical. But listen. If this messages has been activated then I'm in danger and have had to leave with no chance of a proper goodbye. I wish it didn't have to be this way and I know you have a lot of questions." Holo Kate placed behind her. "I don't have a lot of time, I snuck in here to do this. I'm going to be blunt.

I'm not human." another pause

"Actually I'm part human. I should of said part human, part alien, more specific part Galifreyan  or as you would know them Sarah Jane. Part time lord. I am the Doctors daughter." Kate sighed as everyone was in shock "For safety reasons I couldn't tell anyone. Anyway now that you know, now to the reason of this message. I've had warning that I'm in danger, whatever that danger is, I'm not sure. Either way My Dad has seen to it that I'm safe, somewhere in time. Again not sure where.

I've programmed Mr Smith to cover my absence that includes a memory inhibitor for Mum, she can't know or set off a chain reaction. Clyde I'm trusting you to trust me on this and do as I ask. Give it to her, it will pant false memories and she won't question why I'm not there. Look I've got to go, I hope I won't be long. Oh and Luke." Luke perked up as it felt like she was looking at him.

"Live long and prosper" she held the vulcan sign and winked at him. The message ended.
