The three of us ended up talking with each other while Mr Smith was working. Clyde was giving tips to Luke about how teenagers act and stuff when the bell rang. The three of us went downstairs and Luke opened the door.

"Hello" he greeted

"Hello, I'm sister Helena from St Agnes Abbey. Who might you be?"

"They're Clyde and Luke. I'm Kate." I answered

"And which one of you fine young boys were at Lavender lawn today and left with a gift from one of the old ladies" My attitude changed to being protective and defensive. How the hell could she possibly know that any of us were there let alone given something.

"We don't know what your talking about." Clyde lied

"How do you know she gave me anything anyway? She wouldn't have told you" oh Luke!

"Can it, Luke!" Clyde said

"Why are you hunting through the old peoples home looking for the talisman?" Luke continued to give nearly everyone about the game away.

"Luke, shut up." i hissed and tried to shut the door Sister whatever stopped me

"Children you don't understand what you're getting yourselves into" she pushed back against me. I pushed even harder

"Well you're not getting your hands on it and we're not children." I clip back at her

"Give me the talisman" she sneered

"Hello, sister. Collection, is it?" Mr Jackson arrived and we both let up, putting on a facade

"Abbey roofs don't fix themselves. That's one miracle we're still working on." she smiled sickly sweet.

"Well i always give to needy causes. You could say it's a habit of mine." he offered a coin but she took the note and left.

"I was after Maria, she was a bit upset earlier. You've haven't seen her have you?" he asked us

"She's gone out with Sarah Jane" Luke answered

"Look do me a big favour will you. When they get back just tell her i was looking."

"Of course" i nod

"Thanks" he left

"Listen Luke. When weirdo nuns turn up on your doorstep asking about freaky glowing alien gizmos. one thing you never do is tell them you got one." Clyde commented

"I didn't. We should call Mum and tell her what's happened"

"Yes you did Luke you might as well have had a sign sign alien talisman for sale." i sighed "If someone seems to know something they shouldn't you always tread with caution and mentally measure up the situation.

"Or even better, we should go and tell her." Clyde cut off the scolding I was giving to our friend.

"Isn't phoning quicker?"

"Sure. Or we can get back in the action."

"Clyde, if those nuns want the talisman i think we should stay here till Sarah Jane and Maria come back." I warned him, i had a feeling and logic dictated that they wouldn't give up on us lightly.

"Oh come on, we've been sitting in there for ages." he closed the door and i sighed as we left, i had a bad feeling us leaving was the last of our problems.

We were walking through the park when we saw a car with the sisters again, they were  waiting  and with a look of determination.

"Oh no it's sister sinister again." The sister got out and came over

"Don't run away, Luke. I won't hurt you. I just want to have a little chat."

"what about?" Luke asked

"Don't listen to her." i looked at Luke its a pleading look.

"Yeah no way is she a nun"

"Whatever else would I be?" Sister Helena tried to seem innocent but she wasn't fooling me.

"I don't know. But i bet you ain't got legs under them robes just a bunch of tentacles" she chuckled

"Your friend watches to much tv. I think we could talk sensibly without him"

"back off lady" i took a step forward

"what's this? have a little thing for dear Luke." i glare at her "Jump in the car, we'll go to the abbey." i took Luke's arm to try and stop her from taking him.

"We're not going anywhere." Clyde stated

"It's not an open invitation. Listen to your friends and you'll be in far more danger, I guarantee. But i can help you, i want to help you." he started walking with them and we tried to get to him but were being blocked by the other nuns. They put him into the car.

"No way."

"Luke!" i called yet we were pushed back and they all got in a drove off

"Clyde, Katie! Clyde, Katie!" we got up and ran after the hearse  but it was too fast and it was gone.

"oh no. Clyde call Sarah Jane now!"  he called Sarah Jane.

"Luke, he's been nabbed by a nun" he told her and we found a place to meet. We ran round the corner and saw them

"We warned him not to talk to that freaky nun." Clyde panted

"We tried to stop it but it just happened so fast." i finished

"Calm down" she replied

"She was after the Talisman" i told her

"where has she taken Luke? Do you have any idea." i nodded

"St Agnes Abbey."

"Get in the car." we did and she took the four of us. We hid and waited till Sarah Jane went inside the crept out of the car and went to find another way in.
