"Airlock Decompression completed. Jettisoning pod" I looked at Martha and out of the small window. I saw my Dad, as he finally arrived just a little too late. I knelt forward to the window properly.

"Dad!" I tapped the window Martha  looked through as well.

"I'll Save you" he mimed well was probably shouting but I understood. Dad always kept his promises, even if I didn't like them he always did. He would keep this one right. He had to.

"Katelyn, Martha. It's too late" I tapped the window more hope slowly leaving me. I kept my eyes on him and clearly he kept on shouting that he would save us. I stopped and felt a tear run down. We drifted away slowly the station still in sight.

"The wonderful world of space travel. The prettier it looks the more likely it is to kill you."

"He''l come for us." I replied in reassurance more to myself rather than them. "He has to, he promised. He promised that he would always protected me.:

"No it's too late. Our heat shields will pack in any minute and then we'll go into free fall. We'll fall into the sun way before he has a chance to do anything." Riley denied ruining my resolve.

"You don't know the Doctor. We believe in him" Martha told him.

"Well you're lucky. I've never found anyone worth believing in." Martha sat back as was still watching outside of the window and the ship drifting further away from us.

"No, girlfriend? Boyfriend?" Martha wondered.

"This job doesn't lend itself to stable relationships." Riley answered

"Family then?" I asked leaning my head against the window.

"Dad's dead. Haven't seen my Mum in six years, she didn't want me to sign up for cargo tours. Things were said and since then, all silent She wanted to hold onto me. I know that. God, she was so stubborn. My 5x Great grandmother is something sepcial, though since she lost her husband she throws herself into traveling.I rarely see her." He looked at me with sad eyes.

"5x?"

"It's a long story." He shook his head, not saying anything more. It was like he wanted to but like he also couldn't. The moment of noticing went as rubbed my face.

"Well that's families." Martha replied

"What about you?"

"Mum, Dad, Dad's girlfriend, brother sister. There's no silence there." I pulled out my phone and looked at my wallpaper. It was of me Clyde and Mum. "So much noise. God they'll never know. I'll just have disappeared and they'll always be waiting."

"Martha" She looked at me as i held my phone to my ear.

"Call them" Riley read my mind as i was ready on the phone.

"Hello" I tried to keep my sobs in as Clyde answered his phone. Hearing his voice made it really hard not to start sobbing and let him know something was wrong.

"Clyde" I breathed

"Katie, you okay?" I took a deep breath and put on a fake smile even though he couldn't see it.

"Yeah, just miss you that's all, what are you doing?" I looked out of the window .

"Me and Luke just came home from the park. We're playing video games. You're on speaker."  he told me, and I took a deep breath.

"Hey Luke." I cleared my throat.

"Caitlin, is something wrong?" Luke questioned.

"Everything's fine, promise. I ugh just watched this film with Dad. Of course i ended up crying. Um, you know I love you both right." There was a little laugh, most likely Clyde.

"What's brought this on?" Clyde asked

"Nothing, just hardly ever say it. I love you, and Luke, Maria. Sarah Jane, Mum. Everyone. I want you too know that." I told them

"Getting all sloppy, Katie." I laughed a little and looked at Martha who was on the phone and Riley, who gave me a sad smile as i carried on with my conversation.

"We love you too Caitlin." Luke said to me and I smiled

"Thank you Luke."

"Well i'm almost winning. Later Kate."

"Bye." The line went dead the same time as Martha hung up Riley being the supportive one hugged us both as we cried. When we calmed down. It was silent, till we were jolted. I sat up

"We're being pulled back!" Riley exclaimed and i let out a strangled cry of relief.

"I told you! The Doctor!"

"Dad!" I yelled we docked back on the ship. But I couldn't see him at first even though I knew he'd been the one to bring us back. I waited for the door to open.

"Airlock recompression completed." the door opened and I scrambled out

"Dad!" I saw him writhing on the  ground "Dad! Are you okay?" I helped him turn round. His eyes were closed tight and he looked like he was in a lot of pain.

"Stay away from me." He growled, Oh no. He'd been infected. I was pulled back.

"What happened." McDonnell

"It's you're fault Captain McDonnell." Dad grunted in agony

"Riley get down to area 10 and help Scannell with the doors. Go!" She ordered and they ran off leaving us. Martha took my shoulders.

"You mined that surface, stripped it surface for cheap fuel! You should have scanned for life!" he sneered towards the woman with his eyes still firmly closed.

"I don't understand"

"Dad, what are you talking about?" I asked

"That sun is alive, a living organism. They scooped out it's heat, used it for fuel and now it's screaming!" he yelled. my head shot up to the woman who couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"What do you mean? How can a sun be alive? Why is he saying that!" she questioned me and then I got angry and slapped her which snapped her head away.

"Because it's true you stupid woman, god you human do anything for the cheapness." I yell at her  I dropped back down to my Dad.

"It's living in me. Humans. You grab what's ever nearest and bleed it dry! You should have scanned!" Dad told her. Come on think there must be something I can do, anything.

"It takes too long. We'd be caught, Fusion scoops are illegal!"

"Katie, Martha. You've got to freeze me, quickly." he ordered and I did a double take.

"What?" Martha questioned.

"Stasis chamber. Look you've got to take me to below -200. Freeze it out of me. It'll use me to kill you if you don't. The closer we get to the sun the stronger it is. Argh" he cried out begging us to do as he asked.

"Come on, Martha" We helped all helped ccarry him to the medical bay. Once we got there Martha looked at a booklet on what to do.

"Martha! Cate where are you!" he held out his hand and I took it holding it close to me.

"We're here. Martha is just setting everything up." I reassured glancing back up at her hoping that she would find what she needed quickly, luckily she did.

"Stasis chamber, minus 200 yeah!"

"But you don't know how this equipment works. Nobody can survive those temperatures." Captain Ass stressed, why was she still even talking when nothing but lies and deceit came out of her.

"He's not human, if he says he can survive then he can. Martha do it." I order I reach over to my Dad and help secure him in, though I was having a little trouble.

"Let me help you then!" I snap my head back in fury, over my dead body would she be any where near my Dad after what she had done not only to her crew but more importantly to him.

"You've done enough damage!"

"10 second. That's all i'll be able to take. Argh! Katelyn!"

"Yeah, i'm here."

"It's burning me up. I can't control it. If you don't get rid of it I could kill you. I could kill all of you." He screams again. "I'm scared. I'm so scared."

"Just stay calm" I held his face. "You leave me, your next face will be sorting a black eye" I joke "You save us, now we'll return the favour. Believe in us okay! believe in me."

"It's burning through me. Kill me then it won't happen." he told me but I wasn't having any of it.

"Shhh, now."

"I'll regenerate."

"I know.  But I'm kind of used to this face and we're running out of excuses, you know. Now Martha." She sends him in and sets the temperature. I hold onto his hand as he screams. Then there was this beeping.

"No! Martha, you can't stop it! Not yet!" I insisted as it began to shut off.

"What happened?" Martha asked

"Power's been cut in engineering." came the answer from the useless and stupid Captain as I kept my eye on Dad. He needed to be okay, I couldn't go through this again, it was bad enough the last time.

"But who's down there?" She questioned

"Leave it to me" Mc Donnell replied and ran off Dad gripped my hand.

"Come on, he's defrosting."

"Kaite, Martha, listen. I could go at any moment you've got to go." he told us.

"Fat chance!" i scoffed, there was no way that I wanted to or was going to.

"Get to the front, vent then engines. Sun particles in the fuel. Get rid of them." he ordered but Martha backed me up. It was probably a bad time to notice that she had grown attached to my Dad.

"We're not leaving you."

"You've got to! Please listen. Please you need to go. Give back what they took!" But the the thoughts quickly passed in my head. If we vented everything that was taken, could there be a possible chance that I could get my Dad back, safe and sound

"Doctor!"

"Go! Now!" I looked stressed as I kissed my fathers hand.

"Come on Martha!" We started running all through the areas right down to the last one, we were almost there when a voice made us stop.

"Matha, Katelyn!" We stopped

"Dad. What are you doing?" I yelled

"I can't fight it. Keep back....Burn with me, Burn with me Katelyn and Martha." he growled i looked panicked and grabbed Martha's hand and started running again.

Impact in 1:21.

We reached the front, the men were already there doing god knows what, though it didn't matter with the order I was about to give to them.

"Vent the engines dump the fuel." I told them

"What?" Orin asked

"Sun particles in the fuel. Get rid of them. Do it. Now!" Martha yells  They did as they were told and the fuel was dumped back we were jolted too and throw.

"The engines are firing." We were taken away from the sun.

"Impact everted" it kept repeating.

"We've got just enough reserves" I grinned

"Dad" I ran as fast as I could which is a lot faster than Martha through the area's 1 to 22 I saw hims standing up and I jumped to hug him. He laughed and I buried my face in his neck.

"I almost lost you" I mumbled

"Me? Never!"

We were getting ready to leave with just Riley and Orin saying goodbye.

"This is never your ship" Orin shook his head  not believing that the three of us could fit inside the Tardis or that the tardis could be a ship at all.

"Compact, eh? And another good word. Robust" he tapped the Tardis "Barely a scorch mark on her."

"We can't just leave you drifting without no fuel" Martha says

"She's right, come with us. We can just drop you off." I add

"We sent out an official mayday. The authorities will pick us up soon enough." Riley informed us "Though how we explain what happened...."

"Just tell them that sun needs care and protection just like any other living thing." I went in the Tardis with my Dad. Martha came in a couple of minutes later

"Wait Katelyn!" I ran and popped my head out.

"You never told me, What's you're full name?" Riley wondered "Just out of pure curiosity, that is."

"You never asked but...It's Katelyn Demetria Langer. Catch you later... Riles." I grinned and pulled myself back in.

"So we didn't need you in the end, did we." Martha teased as I ran back up. I saw his face.

"Sorry. How you doing." He never replied just went back to his old self.

"Now, what do you say? Ice skating on the mineral lakes of Kur-ha. Fancy it?" I sighed, acting as if nothing happened.

"Whatever you like." I went and sat on the jump seat.

"By the way, you'll be needing this. " He lifted up a key. A Tardis key

"Really?"

"Frequent flyers privilege ...Thank you."

"I'm getting in the shower" I walk off and wash everything that just happened.  When i got out i dried off and walked out in my towel. I jump seeing my Dad sat on the bed.

"Privacy!"

"Sorry" he covered his eyes, I went behind my screen and changed  with the clothes that I had set out before I had gone for a wash.

"I never got a chance to thank you." I poked my head out. He was facing the door now but looking up at the ceiling.

"For what?"

"Being there. You never leave me do you?" I pulled my top on and some jeans and came out, sitting beside him and loping my arm through his, then leaning my head on his shoulder.

"I'm your daughter, Dad. No matter where I am i will always be there for you"  he hugged me and kissed my head . "I love you." I told him

"I love you too" he kissed my head. Then i remembered

"Clyde." I got my phone out and called him again.

"Yello" he answered

"Hey, sorry about earlier, you know what i'm like when i'm emotional" I chuckled running a hand through my wet hair awkwardly. I didn't regret calling him but I wanted to hear his voice again.

"It's cool. How's it going with your Dad?" I looked at my Dad and smiled

"Great, still a looney but i love him" Dad grinned "You still playing video games?"

"Yeah"

"And i'm on speaker?"

"Yep."

"Hey Lukie, thanks for earlier." I crossed my legs on the bed. Dad looked at me confused and mimed 'Lukie?' I waved him off not breaking off to answer him.

"It's okay."

"No, honestly. Unlike my idiot brother you actually indulge my little moment and it made me feel better. Despite what Clyde may say never change, promise me." I reply

"I promise."

"I'll see you tomorrow okay, I'm gonna stay the night."

"Right, see you tomorrow"

"I love you and I miss you both." I giggle and hang up.

"So Lukie, then?"

"Shut up. Oh wait. I never told you..." I told him about my adventures with Sarah Jane which made him smile and everything that we had ben up too. In return he told me what happened to Rose. I remember the last time I saw her was after we had been to 2012 Olympics it was so awesome, but it was sad about what happened to her. He also told me how he had met Martha and all the other adventures he had been on.
