Lily POV

“Lily…Lily…Wake up”

“Mum?” I questioned

“Sort of...” I heard the voice say

I opened my eyes and saw Ginny sitting on the edge of my bed, still in her pajamas.

“You’ll do…”

Ginny POV

“You’ll do…” Lily said and hugged me tight.

She had no idea how much it warmed my heart to hear her say that. We stayed there for a few minutes, then Hermione came into the room, fully dressed and slightly out of breath.

“Come on girls, get up, Rose and I have already won two games of Quidditch and you aren’t even up yet!”

“Okay, Okay, were getting up now!” Lily replied as she walked slowly towards the cupboard “Can I borrow something Ginny? I don’t fancy getting back into yesterday’s clothes, there covered in ashes and dirt and I don’t know what else!”

“Of course” I replied, selecting an outfit for her “Give your clothes to mum and she can wash them for you!”

“Thanks mum” She said and smiled at me, she went out the room carrying her dirty clothes and my clean clothes. She came back ten minutes later fully dressed holding the borrowed pajamas.

“It’s so weird having my mum the same age as me… I bet it’s even weirder for James and Albus, having a Mum and Dad younger than them” Lily commented

“Yeah, well trust me, it’s even weirder to be a teenage girl and have your future children who are the same age as you come and live with you. Take my word for it, it’s weird…” I confessed Lily’s face fell so I hastily added “But kind of cool, if you think about it, now I am confident about my future!”

When we were both dressed we went downstairs.

“What’s for Breakfast mum?” I asked

“Breakfast?” She replied “Breakfast was over hours ago , Its nearly time for lunch! You’ve overslept!”

“I’m sorry Grandma but we were up very late last night, only had a few hours sleep!” Lily says before I could even think of something to say. She then looked at my mum with puppy eyes.

“Don’t worry Lily sweetheart, I wasn’t blaming you” Mum said fondly as she hurried us out the kitchen “Lunch will be ready in an hour, James, Albus, Fred, George, Hermione, Ron, Rose and Hugo are outside playing Quidditch, Go and join them if you like but come back inside an hour.

Harry POV

Whoosh!

A Bludger went past me missing my left ear by inches.

 I looked below me; there was no sign of the snitch.

Then I saw something gold. I flew straight down as James was on my tail, he knew I had seen the snitch. At the last minute as we were about to hit the ground I pulled up into a Wronski Feint, Unfortunately James hadn’t fallen for my trick. I darted after the snitch with James close behind me.

Then I caught sight of Ginny and Lily coming into the Garden. I smiled to myself, but then realized I had forgotten about the Snitch. I chased after James but it was too late, James had caught the Snitch! I was obviously annoyed that I had lost but I was glad it was against James and not Malfoy.

I hopped off my broom and went to congratulate James. Fred and George lifted him up onto their shoulders while Hermione and Rose cheered him on. Their team had won which meant we had to do their Chores for three days. My team, which consisted of Me, Ron, Albus and Hugo went to the other side of the pitch to talk about Strategies for the next game.

“Hey Dad, can we join your team?” Lily asked

“Sure, what position do you play?”

“Seeker, but I you’re a seeker and your better than me so I will just be a chaser or something…” she said looking down at the floor. I had to cheer her up!

“No don’t worry, you be the seeker, I’ve already played seeker for four games” I said

Her face lit up “Thank you Dad!”

We mounted our Brooms, James let out the Snitch, Rose let out the Bludgers and Hugo threw the Quaffle into the air and the game began…

Lily POV

I looked up, Ginny was right above me, she grinned and sped off. There was no sign of the snitch anywhere. Then suddenly James started chasing something, but I couldn’t see anything. I chased after him anyway hoping he was after the snitch. Then I saw it, it was about ten metres in front of James and he was getting closer to it, I caught up with him reached out my arm and I fell forward… and then Darkness…

Harry POV

“Lily…Lily…Are you Okay?” Ginny said gently

“She won, look, she landed on the snitch” James says in disbelief “She… beat me?”

Me and Ginny crouched down beside Lily.

Ginny turned towards everyone “I think she will be okay, lets carry her upstairs.”

Fred produced a magical stretcher and levitated it with Lily on it.

Me, Ginny, James and Albus all carried a side of the stretcher and brought it straight up to Lilys bed and lay her down. The second her head touched the pillow, her eyes flickered and slowly opened.

“Mum… Dad… James… Albus… What happened?”

“You won Lils, you landed on the snitch!” James says

“I beat you?” she says in disbelief “Really?”

“You were amazing but we will let you rest now” I say as we start to file out the room.

“I’ll stay with her” Ginny says to me.

“Okay, but come downstairs for lunch in twenty minutes, both of you if you feel like it, Lily.”

I closed the door and walked downstairs. As I entered the kitchen the smell of delicious cooking flooded my nose.

“Lunch is in fifteen minutes, call everyone inside to wash and get changed, I don’t want any muddy Quidditch robes at the table, Is Lily okay? Is someone with her?”

“Ginny is with her. She’s woken up but she’s a bit dizzy still.”

We walked outside where Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, Rose and Hugo were playing more Quidditch. They flew down to us.

“How is Lily?” Rose asked

“She’s fine” Albus replied “Its lunchtime soon. Get changed”

They all walked inside and upstairs to get ready.

Lily POV

“Lils, Mum. It’s Lunch” James calls from downstairs

“Its Lunch Lily, Do you want Lunch downstairs or I can bring it up to you?” Ginny asked

“No, I’m fine now, I’ll come downstairs, I want to see everyone and I want to hear what the adults have been planning for us, I can’t stand not knowing”

We both got up from where we had been lying on the bed and went downstairs. When we got into the kitchen we sat down and tucked in.
