James POV

I lugged my new trunk down the stairs. Our Parents had decided that as school was starting today we really did need to attend if we didn't want to be behind in our studies. I dumped my trunk in the living room near the fireplace, ready for when we would floo to kings cross station and went back upstairs to help Danielle with her stuff.

"I don't need your help James. I'm fine on my own."

"I insist"

I took her trunk from her and wheeled it down the stairs.

"Whoa! It weighs so much. What the hell do you have in here? Rocks?"

"My case always weighs that much James. I'm a girl!"

By the time everyone had got their cases down it was almost 10:30.

"We're okay for time," Mrs Weasley said "Double check that you all have everything."

We all showed her our bulging trunks and some of us had pet cages as well.

"Do you all know your cover stories?" Sirius questioned

"James Prior, Half Blood, I'm starting Hogwarts because my dad just got a job at the ministry so we have to move." I confirmed

"I'm Albus Prior, James's Brother."

"And I'm their sister, Lily Prior."

"My name is Rose Mellark. I'm Half Blood. I'm starting Hogwarts because my old school closed down. My brother Hugo Mellark is coming with me."

"I'm Roxanne Jackson and I'm Pure Blood. Me and Freddie have come to Hogwarts because our grandmother is ill so our parents have moved to Britain to help her."

"I'm Danielle Eaton. Pure Blood too. I got expelled from Beauxbatons."

"My name is Scorpius Everdeen. I'm also Pureblood. I went to Durmstrang but I left because last year our head teacher fled and the school was falling to pieces."

"Great!" Mr Weasley exclaimed "Let's get going! James, Danielle, you go first."

I stepped into the fireplace, Danielle by my side, took my trunk in one hand and a handful of floo powder in the other.

"Kings Cross Station!"
