In the Past...

The three of them have finished their breakfast and now sitting outside the shrine with Riku, enjoying the peaceful of nature infront of them. Mizu?... well... he left to somewhere, claiming to have some business that needed to attend, just a few minutes ago.

Tenn suddenly looked up to the sky and smiling lightly. Riku noticed this and decided to ask him. "Tenn-nii...?"

Tenn turned to look at him and wave off his brother's worry. "Nothing. I feel grateful so suddenly that you're here with me, Riku." 'Just remembering about that day, that's all.' The last sentence were not spoken.

Riku take this as Tenn was afraid to be left alone, smiling cheekily. "Don't worry! I'm here to protect you, Tenn-nii!"

Tenn rolled his eyes while smirking. "Yeah, right. I almost forgot who was the person nearly tripped so many times on the way up the hill because he was too engrossed by the nature..."

Riku's face turned bright red in embarrassment. "T-T-Tenn-nii baka! You don't have to brought that up!"

Tenn chuckled at his brother's behavior. His gaze soften when he sees Riku puffed his cheek, sulking at him. After Riku has revived back from the short death, he don't remember a single thing about the early life. About when Tenn ignored him.

And about the hurtful word that Tenn have said to him. Part of him feels grateful but the teeny tiny side of him feels sad because Riku won't remember about the sloppy drawing he had made for Tenn. (And Tenn still keep the paper in his room back at Kujou Residence.)

Mizu--who is now back from whatever business he have done-- looked at them in amusement. "I have a great drama show in live."

"Gone off somewhere again and come back when I said so." Tenn said annoyed by the sudden interruption.

Mizu raised his eyebrow. "You know what, I'm going back to the future." he sighed like an old man he is. This time Tenn raised his eyebrow. 'Is he sulking or something?'

Riku perked up at this. "You're going back? So that's mean we can too?" he said cheerily. The thought of coming back home really do make him hyper up. He wanted to see his members back.

"You can't."

The smile on Riku's face vanished. "Eeeeeehhhh? Why?"

Tenn turned to look at the old man. Shooting him a confused look as well.

Mizu shook his head. "Did you forgot last night? What have I told you two?" he asked the twins.

"Eh? You did? I don't remember anything you say that we can't go home." Riku said, head tilting slightly as he looked at his big brother, expecting an answer from him. After all, his mind might have gone off to somewhere along the way Mizu explaining to them. And he knows that Tenn would surely paid his attention to the old man. So he was expecting an answer.

"Don't look at me like that, Riku." he said. "Is it about those-random-shady-guys?"

Mizu sweatdropped at the nickname. "They were called ZOOL."

"Whatever."

Sensing Tenn wouldn't say anything more, he sighed and started to explain to Riku for the second time. "The Sanctuary swapped you and your past-selves in order to protect your past-selves from harm. ZOOL have setted up their eyes on you both because of the rising TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7's popularity in show-biz. They thought if both of you, the centers of TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7, disappeared, ZOOL could take the reign as a king in show-biz."

"So they come to the past in order to restart the whole scene. And we, as the past-selves' future, have to search them and drag them back to the future.... That's what you told us-me yesterday, right?" Tenn continued the explaination to confirmed the whole thing.

Mizu and Riku nodded their heads. The former nodded, confirming Tenn's explaination while the latter nodded, understood the whole situation played out.

"But what about the musubi thingy that you've told us before and the demon?" Tenn asked while Mizu sighed. He needs to get used to Tenn's way of mentioning people.

"That... actually we don't know who he is. He never showed up his face to us. We have been tracing this person for 15 years. But never succeed. All we knows that this person ordered the ZOOL to shaken up people's life." Mizu said. "And musubi is.... just a random reference I took from the novel I've read."

Tenn and Riku looked at him deadpanned. While Mizu just shrugged it off.

"The demon was just a human, right? How can he sent those-shady-guys to the past. I thought this Sanctuary have this kind of magical thingy that humans don't have. So how come?" Tenn stared at the old man who is now walking towards them and flopped down beside Riku. Sandwiching Riku between Tenn and him.

"Eh? This demon is a human? I thought he was a....." Riku trailed off.

"...Real demon...? I wonder how come you keep your innocence in check when you were always by the devil's side all the time when you guys were still small..." Mizu sighed for the nth times.

"Eh, now is devil? Not a demon anymore?" Riku asked back, a bit confused. Tenn smiled and patted the redhead.

"No need to worry. I'm here to protect you from the both of it. Except for the devil part." 'If you ever know that the devil is me...' as he shot the old man a meaningful glare. Mizu just smirked at him. 'Payback? Check.'

"If there were some random old demon that is in fallen angel's disguise, what should you do, Riku?" Tenn asked.

"Ah? Um..."

'Touche...' "Sadly, that demon wasn't old. Fortunately there is a fallen angel who head will be always never surpassed the demon."

Their gaze never leave each other as they were having a glaring contest with Riku sitted in the middle, while Riku.... let's just say... he was oblivious of what the two were doing because he was listening intently of what the two have been talking. It's just...

Tenn scowled. 'It's 173 cm... Old man...' "Fortunately, the old demon living alone in a small lonely hut. It was a sad living."

Mizu's eyes twitched. 'Small and lonely hut, huh...?' "Fortunately again, the small lonely hut is once a holy place that humans keep come and go. Not just some random tall buildings at the two sides."

It's just...

'Gaku and Ryuu isn't a random person.' "Fortu-"

"Stop...! Please stop...! It's getting weirder and weirder. I don't know anymore what you both have been talking about..."

Tenn cut off his sentence and both of them looked at Riku who was now standing in front of them, hands on his hips. With a scowling face, he scolded them. "What are you guys have been talking about? How come a topic about ZOOL turned into a lonely building?"

"It's not a lonely building, Riku. It's a lonely hut." Tenn corrected him as Mizu just rolled his eyes.

"Well, now you know. Let me do my work in peace. Ittekimasu." With that, Mizu stood up and walk towards the woods.

"Itterasshai..."

"Don't forget to say 'Hi' to them from us, Mizu-jiisan!" Riku shouted as he waved his hand to the retreating back.

"Now, what should we do now?" Tenn asked his little brother.

Riku pondered for a moment before his eyes lit up. "Let's take a walk!" and dragged Tenn as they headed to the town.

On the way walk down the hill, they both didn't utter a single word and it's getting into Riku. The awkward silence becomes unbearable to him. Fed up, he tried to start up the conversation with his older brother. But Tenn had beaten him to it. "The world is just too mysterious, right, Riku?"

"Huh?" Riku blinked his eyes. A bit surprised by the sudden mentioned. "Y-Yeah..." Riku replied as he looked down to the ground. 'Why am I the one who's being awkward?' He thought angrily.

Tenn looked at Riku. Noticing his inner turmoil, Tenn chuckled, gaining Riku's attention. "W-What's the funny? Tenn-n-Waahh!" Riku tripped on the tree's root, successfully cut his words.

But before his face could kiss the ground, Tenn has already readying himself to catch Riku's fallen body. Arms securely gripped around his waist as Riku land on Tenn's chest. "Tsk... You never change, huh, Riku? Clumsy as ever." He said. Riku looked up to look at Tenn's smirking face.

"W-Wha-!"

"No worries, this Prince Charming will surely catch you away from harm." Tenn teased him and tilted his head slightly. "I thought that you're the one who said wanting to protect me?"

"I-It's so unfair!"

Tenn chuckled, satisfied by the reaction he gets as he let go off Riku's waist. Riku stood up properly and letting go out a humph in protest. "If Tenn-nii became a prince, I wanted to become a knight! I'll fight the dragons and scare them away!" Riku said, childishly excited.

"You've read too much books, Riku. Let me guess, it was a never ending fantasy with a princess and the prince?" Tenn asked.

"No, it's not! It's too girly!" Riku replied.

"Yeah, right. But you were enjoying so much when I read you a Snow White tale." Tenn said with a teasing smile on his face.

"I-It's in the past! Now I read a book about the adventures of a separated twin who have a super power from some gems and save the world together!" Riku exclaimed.

"If they were separated, how come they could save the world together?"

"Well, they've already meet each other again?"

"Hmm...." Tenn listened to Riku's rambling about the book and twins having friends and the world that they lived were full with evil darkness and it was the twin's fate to become the world's peacemaker.

Tenn raised his eyebrow at that. "I don't know that the rest of IDOLiSH7 loves to read books. With who did 6ou borrowed the story from?"

Riku tilted his head. "It was the book from the other side (of the universe) that I borrowed from. The author has a big imagination." Riku nodded his head in approval.

"I'm sure the author must be surprised to hear that. Ah, we've arrived." Tenn said as they halt on their steps, watching people passing by in front of them, not minding their presence.

They started to walk around the town, a wave of nostalgic feelings hitted Tenn once more. For Riku, he didn't feels that much because he was hardly go out.

When they were silently watching around, Riku accidently bumped into someone. He has a slightly long peach haired. "I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking forward." He quickly apologised to the guy.

The guy stared at Riku's face for a moment with an emotionless face. "It's okay. Excuse me." With that being said, the guy quickly fled away as he sensed Tenn was staring at them in suspicious not too far away.

Unknown to the redhead, the boy muttered behind his back. Carefully make sure that Riku didn't hear him.

"Until we meet again, Nanase Riku, Kujou Tenn..."

The book that Riku mentioned is in the Wattpad. I hope the author noticed this...
