As I predicted, the audience laughed and my master whipped. Though there was something strange about this group of people. A man with ocean blue eyes along with their group did not laugh. They are strange. Everyone laughs. I wonder if they never saw our show befor-

CRACK!

SLAP!

"YOU CIRCUS MONSTER! PAY ATTENTION AND DO YOUR JOB!!"

Oh no...the ringleader...my Master....he yelled at me during the show...he never yells during my performance because he doesn't want me to mess it up. This is not good at all....I look at my Master and he glares at me, wanting me to finish my act.

.......but I know as soon as my act is over and the show ends.....

......the true act will begin.....and I will soon end with it....

The show eventually ended and I was put back in my cage then wheeled backstage near my Masters office.....I'm terrified....

My Master looked at me smiling though also glaring. I know why....I was requested again by people....but not just anyone. To my surprise when I was wheeled out in my cage into the ring once more to meet the ones who requested to see me, it was the group again! There was an orange haired girl, a teenager with missing teeth, and 4 other teenagers that look like brothers. These were the ones....the ones that did not laugh. I looked at them curiously wanting to know why they didn't laugh, didn't throw objects, didn't...do anything except stare emotionlessly.

The Groups POV

We waited a couple of minutes before we heard something being wheeled out. Looking into the direction of the noise, there was a fairly big cage with chains. The girl looked surprised that we were standing here. Looking at our hands to see nothing in them, then looking at us skeptically. The Ringleader looked at us confused also, asking why we didn't have anything with us. Of course we knew what he meant -except maybe Mikey- and we replied with "We are new and we're going to get a souvenir later."

He left us alone after he asked us questions and we had half an hour since the next show is an hour away. She continued to look at us though she didn't have emotion in her eyes..

Leo's POV

"Excuse me, miss...but what are you doing here? I mean, you work here but it doesn't look like they treat you well."
She looked up at me chuckling darkly but stopped because she started coughing badly.

"You think...I wAnTEd to be here? In this hell hole? In this...circus..? No...I came here because I had no choice. I couldn't get a job looking like this can I?"

So..she was like us. A mutant. Her horns, eyes, fangs- everything wasn't fake. It was real...which means someone mutated her someho-

"So..I take it you are one of us...? A freak? You were healed though...all I see that's different and not natural is your brother's neon green eyes. It's too late for me..just throw your food, drink or whatever at me and leave!"

I narrowed my eyes slightly when I thought she found out about us being mutants. I relaxed after she dismissed it, it's sad though that she assumes it's too late..then again, what does she mean by that..? Even worse when she tells us to throw stuff at her then leave.

Suddenly, she moves near the front of her cage holding the bars, her hair covering an eye and giving the creepiest of smiles.

"I hope you enjoyed your stay at the World Round Freak Show Circus with the Freak Y/N herself."
