I go downstairs in the evening. Dad's  home. He's probably watching TV and drinking coffee while mom is sitted beside him. Jonah is resting his head on mom's lap and busy in playing his PSP. I take a seat next to my dad.
"Hey, dad." I say with a smile.
"Hello, sweetheart. How are you?"
"All okay." I say with a smile.
"Well you are gonna be very happy after listening to this news." Mom said happily.
"What news mom ?" Jonah asked.
"Uhuh? " I said at the same time.
"You know tomorrow is our anniversary, and me and your dad are planning to spend it on the beach side of Alaska, and meanwhile the two of you get to enjoy a trip to your Uncle Michael's house in LA." Mom tell us, excitement still seen in her eyes. Jonah seem happy with the news and my face look pale. Michael lives in LA, he's a handsome man and has a son, his wife died after giving birth to her child. That's what I know about him. I used to spend my summer holidays at Michael's when I was 6 years old, and now I'm 18! I'm so not ready to go at all.
"Alice?where are you lost?" My dad asked when he saw my pale face.
"Nothing, I was just wondering if.. umm.. you two go on the trip and me and Jonah stay at home.." I say with a hope in my heart that he'll allow.
"Alone? Not at all. "Mom interrupted.
"Mom, we are going to be fine.." I try to explain but she continues, " no, you two are going, we can't and will not leave you alone, ever!" She cried.
"That's my  decision too." Dad agrees with her.
"Yes, dad. We will go." Jonah say happily. He always loves to go out.
"I don't want to." I simply say.
"It's an order Alice. " mom says in a final decision making tone and I get up, "okay." I say and walk upstairs.
"Pack your stuff, we'll be away for a week. We'll leave early tomorrow. " I hear her saying out loud.

I step inside my room and close the door behind me. I really don't want to go. I take a night shower and pack mine and jonah's clothes. I add one family pic in my bag too, few books and a little makeup. That's all.
After I'm done, I get into my bed and fall asleep.
