Chapter 6 - A Disaster....

Adaline's POV  (Remember, one of Becca's sorta friends)

I stuffed my face into Terry's chest.  He hugged me tightly as I cried.

I cried for the loss of life.

I cried for the event about to happen.

I cried as the stuff Terry calls Minecraft crept closer and closer.

We made a mistake.

We ran in a building that had no windows.  We were trapped in this meeting room.  Being the nerd I am, with how long it took us to get to this room, how fast we ran, and how fast a person...dies...we wouldn't make it running.

Terry pulled back and looked deep into my puffy green eyes.  "Adaline...I'm sorry.  I shouldn't have taken us into this building."

I shook my head and wiped my face.

The Minecraft was halfway across the room.

"You didn't know.  You have nothing to apologize about."  I replied, my voice cracking from all the crying.

We looked deep into the other's eyes.

"I'll miss you, Adaline."

"I'll miss you, Terry."

The Minecraft was a few feet away.

I closed my eyes and hugged Terry tightly.

I felt a slight tingle.

I opened my eyes and looked down.  I was quickly becoming blocky.

Terry was, too.

I looked back up to see Terry's brown hair being pushed flat on his face as he completely turned.

I looked down again and saw the thing that killed all those people and will kill us too.

My feet, slowly, began disintegrating into 0's and 1's before the numbers dissipated.

I looked at Terry, and he looked at me.

We stared at each other until our bodies up to our shoulders were gone.

Tears ran down both our faces as we smiled for the last time.

"Goodbye."  We said in unison.

My head disintegrated, and then...nothing.

Becca's POV

That's impossible.  He fell off a 4-story building after he got shot in the leg!

He tried looking angry, but I could see the fear in his eyes as plain as day.

"W-Who are you?"  He asked.  His voice sounded a little more wary than before.

I reached for my book when I heard a gun click.  "I said, who are you."  He asked again, a little more forceful than before.

I turned to him and gestured to my throat, shaking my head.

He nodded his head as he slowly lowered his gun.

I pulled out my book and began writing in it.

'Louis...how are you alive?'

He read it and frowned.

"Do I know you?"

'No, but I know you.  It's a freaking long story of how I do, but all I'm gonna say is that I know what's happened to you up until you fell off that building.'

He sighed.  "Are you with Nick's group?"

I winced.  'Umm...before I can answer that, I need you to answer a question.  Do you still work with Red?'

He nodded.  "I've been told to keep track of them."

'Ok, then.  ...I...sorta am with Nick's group, but...I'm working undercover for...Red.  Not by choice, mind you.  He has my sister and friends.'

Louis nodded again and turned to resume what he had been doing.

"So why do you look so different?"

'I'm from another dimension.  Red kinda kidnapped me and my sister and friends.'

I slid the book into his view.  He glanced at it before shifting through a box.

"Well...what's your name?"

'Becca.'

"Well, Becca, I can't do much for you.  You can stop by if you wanna chat or get advice or something.  Just...PLEASE don't let them know I'm alive."

'Heh.  Trust me, Louis, I wouldn't even if I were able to.'

Louis glanced out of the hole in the building.

"You'd best be heading back.  If they're not suspicious of you right now, they might be if you don't return."

I nodded and put my book back in my pocket.  I placed my hand on his shoulder before walking down the stairs.

...Forgive me, Nick.  Forgive me...EVERYONE.

Insanity's POV

I laughed quietly as I circled around Rachel.  She was still cuffed, but she could move around the room we were in freely.  Obviously, though, the door out was locked.

I pulled out a knife and held it, basking in its glory of sharpness.

I turned back to Rachel.  She was on the verge of tears, but she was holding it in.  "I've always wondered how much blood a person can lose before passing out."

Rachel took a few steps back when I said that.

I spun the knife in my hand.  "I wonder...how much blood a little girl can lose before passing out!"  I looked at her when I said little girl.

The tears couldn't stay in anymore.  "N-NO!  D-Don't touch m-me!"  Rachel cried.  She backed up even more, trying her hardest to get away from me.

Like she can.  Pfft.

Faster than she could react, I grabbed the front of her shirt and pulled her close, the knife resting on her forehead.

"Let's give that pretty face a few flaws, shall we?"

(OMG I feel so bad from writing that.  xD  If Rachel reads this, she'll probably kill me.  O.O)

Author's POV  (Me author, not Author the ego :D)

I sat at my computer desk, thinking.

Becca's gonna head back to the gang.

How should they react?

Rachel's...in a predicament.

I giggled a bit.

Louis is hanging at his old place.

The gang is still at that building by the sea.

Who haven't I talked about in a bit?

...OH YEAH!  JANE AND GERRIN!  >.<  How could I forget my best friend and..."boyfriend"?  Haha.

I sighed.

I'll never understand the need for relationships in high school...ANYWAYS!  I'm think-rambling.  Back to the story!

Gerrin's POV  (By my sister's request!  AKA I literally just went up to her and said "G or J?" and she said "G."  :D  Ahhhh...such effective methods for writing...from the opinion of an 8-year-old)

I raked my hands through my hair and sighed heavily, sliding down the wall into a sitting position.

I miss Becca.  I may have never heard her voice before, but she's so nice.  My life was so bad that I probably would've...done it...but then...she came along.  She looked confident yet scared.  When she told me of her situation...I believed her.  No doubts.  It's just...something about her...was different.  I couldn't place my finger on it, but she was different.  Heh.  I know why now.  The adventures she had....

My thought were interrupted when the iron door creaked open.  I warily looked up to see the man that Rachel had called Red.  I glared at him but said nothing.  I was never really a fighter.  Like Becca...USUALLY is, I'm peaceful.  I wouldn't be able to beat him even if I put my whole soul and being into the fight.

I got on my knees and then stood up, facing Red eye-to-eye.  "What do you want?"

Red scoffed.  "Someone's in a bad mood."

"For obvious reasons."

"Touche.  Anyways...we need you."

Before I even had time to process the words, he punched me in the head.

As darkness invaded my vision, I thought, Please don't let me be what I think I'm going to be....

YAY!  SO MANY POVS!  #SORRYNOTSORRY

Anyways, can you guess what Gerrin is gonna be?  To be honest, it's pretty freaking obvious.  xD
