Part 16

Abigail's POV

Something wasn't sitting well with me, the Lady Montgomery and Will seemed to be looking at Jason and I a lot more often that usual. Angelica was behind it I was sure but nothing she did would be able to stop me from protecting the innocent people of Salem from her true witch craft. She was using them, that wasn't hard to tell. Anyone who was accused of being a "witch" was actually just a sacrifice. Wondering how I know that? Jason, he told me everything including the bonding process...that was an awkward conversation.

Sitting in church I made sure to watch my surroundings. Thanks to my training usually I had the heads up on anyone that might want to take me out. Wouldn't it be a shock to have their own attack reversed on them? The Reverend was talking about commitment and how important it was not only in marriage but in other things as well. Maybe he should have met Chrissy and updated her on it.

"Something the matter?" Jason whispers into my ear.

"No, just a bit tired is all." I reply to him with a small and shy smile.

"You noticed the staring as well I see, do you think it is cause to worry? You know I would protect you." he says trying to reassure me as he takes my hand.

Nodding I look back to the Reverend who continues his lesson to the mass. After church was over I saw Angelica making her way to Jason and I. This woman never gives in I will give her that but that didn't mean I would let my guard down.

"The Newlyweds, so happy to see you out together and this beautiful Sunday morning." Angelica tells us.

Both Jason and I look out the window behind her. It's cold, dark and rainy out today. Not the kind of weather I would call beautiful but to each their own. Looking back to Jason I just raise my eye brow at him. Shrugging he takes my hand and pulls me closer to him. Somehow showing Angelica whose side he was on now.

"I think the weather could improve dramatically to be honest." Jason tells her which sends a shock to me but I smile and nod agreeing with him as we turn around to make our exit.

"Nothing last forever, remember that Abigail." Angelica says warning me.

Stopping in our tracks I barely look behind my shoulder to see Angelica.

"I can definitely attest to that. Good day Miss Angelica." I say with a devilish grin on my face as I turn to Jason and look him in the eyes as we walk out of the church.

Amber smiles at us with little Abigail in her arms waiting for us. I watch as Jason takes young Abigail in his arms and begins to baby talk with her. Amber shakes her head in amusement as we continue to walk back to our home. Odd to think I have never thought of a true home in any century I have been to. Walking inside we take off out drenched clothing and sit close to the fire as Jason plays with baby Abigail just a few feet away.

"She sent you a warning didn't see?" Amber asks me with concern written all over her face.

"She can send as many as she wants, I'm not going to stand by anymore and watch her kill people just because she needs them for a sacrifice." I say as I look into the fire.

"Your strength grows by the day, I heard rumors that you even managed to save Jason from death." Amber tells me and I look at her surprised by her question. "I know you couldn't have brought back Emily but I'm glad you did save Jason. He was Angelica's puppet on a string."

I had to agree with her there. Especially with the details of their relationship he had shared with me. Still I knew I had to be honest with someone and the only true people I could trust were in this room with me right now. There was a war coming and I knew it was just around the corner. I had to be honest with at least Amber and Jason, even if Jason did betray me I guess I could just kill him and they would hang him for being a mad man.

"I have a great confession to confide in you both." I say as I now turn to Jason who looks at me a bit surprised now.

Jason brings baby Abigail and walks forward sitting in front of the fire with us. This was it, telling the truth in any time period was hard because you didn't know who would believe you. Still once the problem was solved their memories would be erased, like I was never there and a new story written in my place.

"I'm not Sarah's cousin." I start as I look at both of them and hoping that being able to show me in my regular cat suit thanks to the watch Fred was suppose to take away but didn't would help me out. "I'm not even from this time. I'm from the future."

Jason and Amber stare at me for a moment. Jason looks at me more with dis belief than Amber. She just smiles as she nods her head. Not really knowing how to convince these two I press the button on my watch and my cat suit appears on my body with my red hair tied in a pony tail. Jason jumps up and circle me as if he were an animal. At east that got his attention.

"I knew you weren't from here. What I don't understand is why you are here?" Amber says as she now stands up holding Abigail.

"I am from a enforcement agency to keep history written as it was suppose to be. Someone in this century whom you can probably guess is trying to re write this history so I am here to stop them." I say as I feel Jason touch the material on my black cat suit.

"You are real...just not of this time...you are here to beat them but then what?" Jason questions as he now stands before me.

"I leave." I answer him with a pain in my heart.
