Looking down I didn't want to believe my eyes. Though Aro still held me strong in his arms I could clearly see the arrow in his back. My whole body was frozen as I felt him now try to hold his own weight with my help. Knowing that wasn't a good sign I looked at Aro to see what he was thinking or even what to do at this point. The guard  had seen at Alexanders came running in just as Ares went to him and explained what he could.

Looking into Aro's eyes I could see he was trying to hold back a yell of pain. Anyone would want to scream after what just happened. Instead he sat up and put his hand on my cheek.

"Run, go back to your time, you have finished your mission." Aro tells me as he wipes a tear from my face I had not known I cried.

"I can't just leave you, you'll die." I  tell him as I put my hand on his head. "I need to get the arrow out and get you to a healer."

"There's no time, no doubt he will have more guards coming and my father will send others as well. If you leave now it will look as though Alexander and I fought bu both lost." Aro tells me as I can see him struggle with the pain.

Ares runs forward with the last man, the one who remembered me.

"Abigail, he's right, we have to go or else they will kill us too." Ares say as he is about to grab me but I pull away.

"No you two may go but I will be here with him until he takes his last breath." I reply coldly.

"I may not die, just please go, I can't risk you staying here and being caught. This isn't your time, I pray that when you do find your time, you stay there and have a future. One can not keep running from time to time their whole life." Aro tells me as we hear more people coming through the house. "Go now."

Leaning in one last time I kiss Aro passionately. Holding him close to me just as we hear other guards yelling out closer to us. Ares grabs me by the arm and pulls me and the man we need close. Yelling to Fred in an unkind tone that we need to go now and within a blink of an eye we were gone, a trace of us not able to be found in Ancient Rome. Just like the missions before our presence would be deleted. That was for the best, or so I was told.

Back at Command three days had passed and finally I was able to be reunited with Hannah who was very happy to see me alive and well too. As I began to tell her my story she smiled and stopped me saying she had seen what happened since she was with Fred the moment after she woke up.  Still I wanted to know if Aro did survive or not. It was something that bothered me to no end. Lucky for me I went to the lab and happened to find Fred.

"I can already guess what you want to know. If you want the truth I can show you." Fred tells me as I run over to his side and he types something into the computer. "Aro is alive and well as you can see but Alexander wasn't so lucky, Ares well you know who I mean killed him and I think that was for the better."

"Is Aro happy and married?" I questioned as I knew about his fathers past as well.

"Petra did marry and had four children with her husband, Aro well honest Abigail it doesn't say, kinda like after you left he just fell off our map." Fred says questioningly.

Just as the words left his mouth our boss walks inside and she doesn't have a happy look on her face. File in hand and she looks like she could set the world on fire at any moment she hands a disk to Fred.

"She's gone back to try and start a war all over again. I couldn't believe it until I saw the photogaph but I know for sure that's her and we have to stop her, we have to send someone back now." the boss states in an angry tone.

"Who I don't understand." I question as she and Fred talk.

"She's only been back three days,  not to mention the missions she's been on before I don't think she is ready." Fred states in a firmer tone than her angry tone.

"World War or let her have rest do tell me which you prefer?" Boss argues back.

Sighing Fred pinched the brow of his nose and looked back to me. To be honest though I had no idea who they were talking about and something told me they didn't really want to tell me either but since the others I brought back were still resting it seemed like I was the only choice.

"Fine, but Hannah can goes as well, Ill get the case file ready and send them out within three hours." Fred answers and the boss nodes without even looking at me and walks off.

Looking to Fred I am waiting for him to explain to me what just happened but he doesn't. Instead he gets t work o the case file just as he said he would. Not sure what else to really do I sit down on one of the spare seats and just wait for him to tell me what's up.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" I ask carefully.

"Not right now, I think you will be better off figuring it out yourself." Fred replies not even looking away from the computer screen.

"At least tell me what I should be brushing up on?" I say almost unsure I would get a reply at all.

"Ancient Egypt is all that you need to know, once I am finished with the case file I will get to you." Fred says bluntly.

Standing up I walk out of the lab and go to start my research on Ancient Egypt.
