"Jungkook! Jungkook!"

A boy with spectacles and brown hair shouted towards him when he came out from the rest room. He had a huge smile on his face as he waved his hands at him but Jungkook picked his steps slowly bowing his head as he strode towards the boy. A few distance away sat four other boys calling out to him. Jungkook's attention was divided at that moment as he dragged his feets to the other boy.

"What is it Yugyeom?" He said in a barely audible voice.

Yugyeom casually glanced to the side taking sight of the other boys. He took a deep breath sighing sadly.

"I thought we could hang out today"

"Sorry, I can't...i have basketball practice...i need to make the team so I'll be busy for a while" he was lying straight out and the other knew it but nodded anyway.

"Oh...okay!" he muttered.

He glanced at the other boys again. "Your friends are waiting"

Jungkook didn't leave fast enough as he muttered a very faint good bye and ran off knowing the other was watching him.

Jungkook wasn't bad. Sure, he loved having things his way and was a bit of a jerk but that didn't make him a bad boy right?

Do you know that you're a bad person?A really bad person?

Those words made him uncomfortable. He shook his head. He didn't know anything. Sure, they used to be very close back when he was in high school till he came to college and became popular. Yugyeom was a medical student but Jungkook wanted more. He wanted to live and Yugyeom was only dragging him back. He became boring, not worth his time or attention. It had been almost three years since they stopped talking to each other so it was quite a surprise when he met him at the orphanage that first day.

Yugyeom was helping out a bunch of sick children in a small room when Jungkook happened to stumble into that same room. Their eyes met and he froze on the spot but then frowned as he looked at him. Yugyeom was still a nerd with the round glasses and the boring expression on his face. He was surprised when Yugyeom left what he was doing with the children and headed to where he stood.

Jungkook rolled his eyes as the latter stood in front of him folding his arms over his chest.

"What are you doing here?" he whispered.

"What does it look like?"

Yugyeom folded his arms. "I didn't know someone like you cared about this sort of thing"

Jungkook scoffed. "Actually, I don't. I'm actually more interested in something else" he said fixing his eyes on Jimin as he licked his lips.

Yugyeom shook his head. "Typical" he muttered looking towards the direction of Jimin who was busy talking with Taehyung.

"You should know that Jimin is Taehyung's boyfriend so don't try to do anything funny"

Jungkook chuckled. "Like that has ever stopped me before"

Yugyeom sighed as Jungkook suddenly focused his attention on him.

"Yah, how do you know them anyway?"

Yugyeom shrugged. "Taehyung is my room mate. We've been living  together since the beginning of this year"

"I see... "

Jungkook nodded his head before leaning closer to Yugyeom who shifted back a little.

"Do you know anything about their relationship?" he whispered.

Yugyeom scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Of course not. I'm not that close to Taehyung and his friends but i do know one thing Jimin is really important to him"

Then Yugyeom shook his head.

"I don't know why I'm even talking to you anyway. I hope we don't have to run into each other ever again"

He turned round and left him to go back to the children. Jungkook didn't mind him. It didn't affect him whatsoever. He only cared about having his way because he deserved it. Was that such a bad thing?

He had avoided the latter as much as possible. Also, trying hard to get Jimin's attention but that was proving difficult lately because of Taehyung. He had had a feeling that Jimin was into him but things was not like before. Something had changed. Jimin wasn't noticing him anymore and it was making him crazy. Making him restless.

He would admit that he hadn't been interested in Jimin the first time he met him because he reminded him so much of Yugyeom with the boring nerdy look and all. He felt guilty just seeing him that he didn't even want to think about the possibility of someone like Jimin liking him until that day at Namjoon's party when he suddenly transformed into the opposite, shocking him.

To his relief, he wasn't boring after all. He was exactly his type. Exciting, flexible and very sexy. Definitely the opposite of Yugyeom. So was Taemin. They where exactly his type and he wanted them both. He wouldn't have minded having a threesome with them but he had been unsure of Jimin at first because Taemin was his first choice but when he heard the news about Jimin and Taehyung's relationship, he became unsettled. He hated loosing what he wanted. He had set his sight on Jimin only to have Taehyung disrupt it. He didn't like it. He was hoping to kill two birds with one stone but now, his plan wasn't working.

The one he had eventually secured, Taemin seemed to be slipping out of his grasp slowly. They where arguing a lot these days because of his closeness to Minho. Not that it really bothered him that much. It didn't. He only hated it when someone takes what belongs to him. He didn't want others to think he wasn't capable of keeping his conquests. He made the rules. You stay when he wants you to stay. He dumps you when he sees it fit to dump you. That was his mantra.

During the fundraiser while he he had performed his song, he noticed everyone seemed to enjoy the performance even Jimin. Taehyung kept looking at Jimin while Taemin was talking to Minho and clapping his hands to the song. They where all happy but he wasn't. Not really.

After the performance, he was congratulated by a lot of people. Even a man who owned a record label gave him his card. He felt happier than he ever had in a long time and while reveling in his good luck, he bumped into the last person he wanted to see.

"It's you again!" Yugyeom whispered with a tight frown on his face.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Jungkook said in a demanding tone. He hated running into him.

Yugyeom rolled his eyes. "Apart from taking care of the sick kids, I sell snacks in case you didn't notice"

He pointed to the make shift snack shop outside the front door. Jungkook gulped.

"Oooh..." he simply muttered.

Yugyeom sighed. "Not like you care..." he added and started to leave when he stopped and turned to Jungkook looking him straight in the eye with a hurt expression.

"Do you know that you are a bad person? A really bad person?"

Jungkook stared at him in confusion as he continued.

"I don't know what i did or why you treated me that way. Was i really that boring to you?"

It was as if tears wanted to fall down his eyes but he held it back.

"Not that it matters anyway...good luck living your glamorous and interesting life"

With that, he turned around and left him letting those words to sink further into his mind.

He felt a hand touch his back softly. He looked up and saw Taemin with a kind smile on his face.

"Babe, are you alright?"

"I'm fine" he muttered.

Taemin nodded. "Jimin's performing soon. I can't wait to see what he will do"

Jungkook shrugged and looked towards the stage to watch Jimin's performance. Music began to fill the hall as Jimin stood in the middle of the stage. Immediately, he started to move along with the music the crowd that had gathered gasped. He danced like he owned the stage and everyone was immersed in his incredible performance. Not long after, people where already donating money on behalf of Jimin.

He moved excellently that Taemin even had to acknowledge how good he was.  After he was done, the crowd erupted into a huge applause. Jungkook saw Jimin step down from the stage and run into Taehyung's outstretched arms. The latter looked like a proud boyfriend smiling that his annoyingly attractive boxy smile. The way they looked at each other afterwards, Jungkook started to wonder if he had ever looked at someone like that, with such happiness.

"Let's congratulate Jimin" Taemin said interrupting his thoughts and practically dragged him towards Jimin who was surrounded by his friends all gushing over him. Between Taehyung and Jimin stood a small cute looking boy.

"That was a great performance!" Taemin said hugging his friend.

"Thank you!" Jimin said blushing.

"You've really changed Jimin. Three months ago, I would never have thought you would do this. I'm starting to get scared for the competition" Taehyung added.

They all laughed

"That was a great performance Jimin" Jungkook said sincerely.

"Thank you Jungkook" Jimin said with a smile on his face.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and noticed how completely enamored he was by Jimin and he felt empty...Jealous.

A loud voice with the aid of a microphone began to speak gaining everyone's attention. It was Sunmi.

"I want to thank everyone for the success of this fundraiser and I also have an important announcement to make. To show our appreciation for all your hard work, we have decided to organize something special for everyone. We'll all be going for a camping trip this weekend!"

Everyone cheered loudly surprised at the sudden news yet glad about it. They would have time to enjoy themselves after working so hard these past few days.

That evening, everyone started to  disperse. Jungkook sat in his car watching the others leave to their various homes. Jimin was entering Taehyung's car, Hoseok and Yoongi where strolling out of the building. Jin and Namjoon where heading towards a car. Taemin was sitting beside him then there was Yugyeom brushing his bangs out of his eyes as he walked past his car. He felt his chest clench tightly as he watched him go away. He saw Taehyung call him. He smiled brightly and ran towards his jeep. He entered the car with Jimin and Jungkook watched the car go.

He didn't care! He didn't care! Why should he care about Yugyeom?

He told himself over and over when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Kookie, are you alright?" Taemin asked looking at him worriedly.

He nodded his head rapidly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go"

Then he grinned. "We're spending the night together. You can't say no!"

Taemin groaned before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Okay fine, let's just go!"

As he drove, he told himself over and over again that he was Jeon Jungkook, the most popular guy in college. He was in charge of his destiny. He deserved the best only the best and nothing can keep him away from his desires. He knew what he really wanted for himself but there was still a huge question mark hanging over him. Did he really?

He's also a major character and i wanted to take you all into his mind and feelings, show you a glimpse of himself, that he too has his own burdens.
