Jimin finished all his lecture quite early and looked at the watch on his wrist. It was past three. Earlier, he had texted Hoseok about the fundraiser and he heartily agreed to come over and help, not even for him not even because of him but because of Taehyung. He also said he would drag Yoongi to the fundraiser and Jimin wondered how he would do it.

He was dreading it. He really didn't want to go but he didn't want to disappoint Taehyung. He had never asked him to come to the orphanage before. This was the first time he was asking which meant that it was very important to him. The sudden realization that he was actually having interest in Taehyung wasn't helping matters at all. It was really difficult to process. If he had to be honest with himself, he didn't like this feeling. He hated it. He hated unplanned events. They made him restless and uncomfortable but he would try to control this feeling. After much debating with himself, he decided to go to the orphanage. He was leaving the school building when he saw Taemin and Jungkook. They where both walking towards the jeep when Jungkook turned as he spotted him coming out.

"Hey Jimin. What's up?" He called out. Much as he liked Jungkook, he wasn't the one in his mind right now. His head was too muddled up. He just nodded his head and started to walk past.

"Hey Jimin, are you alright?" Taemin shouted to him causing him to pause in midstride.

"I'm fine Taemin. Don't mind me" he said. He glanced towards them and saw them talking to each other before Taemin turned to him.

"Hey Jimin, can we give you a ride? You look tired" he said.

Jimin shook his head fervently. He really doesn't want to be in the same space as them.

"No... Thank you"

"Come on Jimin. Don't refuse us"

He looked at Jungkook and noticed the grin on his face. He really didn't know what was going on in Jungkook's mind. Who did he really like? Him or Taemin? He really had to know because he wasn't ready to become second fiddle. He was a one man kind of person and if he was in a relationship, he was going to have his partner all to himself. He was too possessive to share.

He stared at Jungkook and he whined "Come on Jimin, I'll take you wherever you are going"

Jimin sighed. He really couldn't escape this. He walked towards them and went to the jeep. They all entered and Jungkook drove off quickly.

"Drop me at Bangtan orphanage" Jimin said.

Jungkook raised his eye brows. "Bangtan orphanage? What for?"

"Taehyung invited me to help out with a fundraiser for the kids at the orphanage." Jimin answered.

There was silence. "A fundraiser? That sounds nice" Taemin said.

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah it does"

Jimin had a feeling again that Jungkook was up to something.

"We'll drop you there and perhaps, we'll join you"

Jimin gasped. He was right. Jungkook was up to something.

"Babe, are you sure?" Taemin said staring at him.

Jungkook grabbed his hand and squeezed it softly.

"It's for the kids, Baby. Think of the kids" Jungjook said and kissed the back of Taemin's hand. Jimin rolled his eyes at the act of affection especially when they started making googly eyes at each other.

"I didn't know you where into this sort of thing. That's great Kookie" Taemin said and smiled at Jimin "We'll join you Jimin"

Jimin faked a smile. "Wow! Great!" he said. He didn't want them to come. Seeing them together was only going to add to his headache. He was already having one at that moment because of them so he tried to avoid looking at them.

After ten minutes on the road, they finally arrived at the orphanage. They parked the jeep in front of the written sign at the gate. After they all got down, Jungkook intertwined his hands with Taemin as they entered the large compound. There where lots of children playing around in the big garden under the supervision of some adults. Jimin watched them. They looked so happy but he could still feel the longing and sadness of the kids here. He knew what they all really needed. It was a home, a family where they could be loved and accepted. That was what they all needed the most.

They entered through the large front door and there where more kids and also more adults in the big hall. It seemed lots of the students had volunteered to help out. Immediately, Jimin started to search for Taehyung with his eyes when Hoseok suddenly appeared before him with Yoongi by his side.

"You are here!" Jimin exclaimed.

"Of course I'm here. I came to actually support Taehyung. I even got myself into the planning committee" Hoseok answered. Jimin snickered at Yoongi who was already engaging in a conversation with Jungkook and Taemin. He had a grumpy look on his face. It was like to him, this was the last place he wanted to be.

"I see you really got him to come" Jimin said.

Hoseok smiled to himself. "He doesn't know it yet but i have him wrapped around my tiny little finger"

They both laughed but Hoseok stopped him by pressing a hand on his shoulder.

"But what are they doing here?" he asked pointing to the couple. Jimin answered by sighing heavily.

Hoseok grinned "Don't tell me they are signing up for the fundraiser?"

"They are! Jungkook was the first to suggest it"

Hoseok nodded his head. "Really? I didn't think Jungkook is that sort of person that has it in him to care for others. Taemin? We all know he's a softie but Jungkook is definitely up to something. What do you think he's planning?"

Jimin heaved again. "I don't know but i can't stand it" he said eyeing the two of them.

Hoseok nodded understandably. "I know, seeing them together must hurt. That was why i wanted you to be more open minded and consider Taehyung"

Jimin puckered up. "Speaking of Taehyung, where is he?"

"I have no idea. I saw him leave somewhere with a group of kids"

Hoseok's eyes suddenly began to sparkle. "Oh Jimin, he looks so good with kids. You should see how much they love him here. He is like their Dad or something...."

"Hobi!" Jimin said staring at him.

"Huh?"

"You better not let Yoongi know you still have the hots for Taehyung or he will dump your ass" Jimin said with a snicker.

"I don't have the hots for Taehyung. I like only Yoongi and that's the truth" he stopped talking. "It's just he looks sexy when he's around kids you know"

Jimin rolled his eyes. He was getting a slight twinge of jealousy with the way Hoseok was talking about Taehyung. It was like Hoseok sensed his uneasiness and backed off. Instead, he spoke in a loud voice.

"Please those of you volunteering should come sign up with me"

Then he walked to a desk and all the volunteers including Jimin, Taemin and Jungkook followed him. He noticed Jungkook's eyes on him through out. He felt awkward and he didn't know why. Maybe because he had yet to see Taehyung. He even saw Jin and Namjoon but no sign of his best friend.

"Looking for your boyfriend?" he heard Jungkook whisper in his ear. He was standing behind him. Jimin didn't react because it would arouse Taemin's suspicion so he just kept quiet. He stiffened when he felt Jungkook's hand holding on to his. He held his breath.

"What are you doing?" he whispered

"What does it look like?" Jungkook whispered back now stroking his hand softly.

"Jimin, it's your turn" Hoseok said distracting him from the feeling of Jungkook stroking his hand. He took the pen Hoseok handed him ready to register his name on the big note book spread out on the table when he heard the sound of a girl giggling few meters from where he stood. He turned his head to the side and saw Taehyung with his boxy smile, smiling brightly with a small boy not more than ten perched on his shoulder but something bothered him. It was the presence of the female figure beside him. The figure he recognised as Nayeon, Jeongyeong's friend and the one who had flirted with Taehyung during Namjoon's party. A strange feeling he couldn't quite understand suddenly overcame him when he noticed how they where looking at each other. How Nayeon placed a hand at his back so naturally one would think they have been dating for a long time. He was so focused on the two that he didn't notice when he was clenching the pen tight.

"Jimin! Jimin!" Hoseok said loudly and Taehyung suddenly stopped when he heard the name and looked at Jimin in front of them but the latter didn't smile at him like he normally did whenever they saw each other. Nayeon stopped and looked at him too but they where no longer the object of Jimin's concern. It was the boy standing behind them. The boy Jimin had been searching for for so long. Lee min ho!
