Prologue

Time. That's what she needed. More time. If only she had more time. She could've saved her friends, and everyone who were innocent. She missed her friends, family, and Camp Half-Blood. Especially her seaweed brained boyfriend, Percy.

But it was too late. The damage had already been done. Gaea won the war, and kept her alive only to be left alone in the ruins of this world. It was the worst. To be left alone while all her dear ones were dead. She'd be better dead herself.

A deep yearning for her friends and family overcame her. If she killed herself, she'll be able to join her friends in death. Tears rolling down her cheeks, she raised a sword she had found on the ground, about to plunge it through her heart, when a sudden memory flickered in her mind. It was something about a myth. Lowering her sword, she tried to remember what it was. It had something to do with a device, a device which can turn back time and grant one wish.

A glimmer of hope filled her chest. Maybe she can still save her friends. Dropping her sword, she wiped the tears from her cheeks.

She reminded herself that she is the daughter of the goddess of wisdom. She had knowledge, which can be used against her enemies. And she knew that if she failed to retrieve this device, there would definitely be no more hope left. And no more time.
