Chapter 10 | Molly
Everyone was gathered together in an empty classroom, individually doing their own things. Lily, Hugo, Lucy, Lorcan and Lysander were all practicing spells out of pure boredom. Victoire was talking to Teddy as she styled Alice's hair, as Alice socialised in low whispers with Dom and Roxy. Louis, Fred and Frank were huddled in a corner, anxiously awaiting James' arrival, and Rose sat awkwardly next to Scorpius in the other corner, quietly reading a book. Molly was also reading, however she was sitting on a table next to Jessica, and was the first one whose head snapped up when the door creaked open.
In came James and Albus, making a very unwelcome entrance. Well, James was unwelcome. Albus, on the other hand, had several people running up to him and hugging him (though of course no one could beat Rose's bone crushing hug which she had inherited from her grandma). James just wandered over to his friends awkwardly, stowing away the map, as Fred gave him a pointed look.
"Alright, now that we're all finally here," Teddy sighed. "We need to figure outs what's going on."
"Well, there a several possible explanations for what has happened, none of which I think to be logical—" Molly began her very logical rant, but was cut off by Albus.
"We time travelled," he said. "A few decades back, if I'm not mistaken."
"How do you know that?" Roxanne asked curiously.
"When James and I were in the hospital wing, I spoke to a girl," Albus began.
"Big whoop, Albus can finally talk to girls without peeing his pants," Frank said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "How does that prove that we time travelled?"
"You didn't let him finish," Alice whacked her brother on his arm.
"Well, the girl happened to have red hair and green eyes, and went by the name of Lily Evans," Albus stated, as he watched everyone's mouth drop open. "She also happened to know a James Potter which, just to clarify, is not my dumber than dumb brother over here, who was the one who got us into this mess in the first place."
"I blame Malfoy!" James accused. "If he hadn't have tried to stun me, then this wouldn't have happened."
"Can someone please explain what's going on here?" Lily asked. "Because I think I speak for the majority of us when I say that I'm confused."
"Our nitwit brother decided to steal a time turner from dad's office, Lils," Albus explained grumpily. "But I honestly don't have a clue why he's accusing Scorpius."
"I think I do," Fred smirked smugly, knowing he had been right.
Alice quickly caught on to what was happening and seized her opportunity immediately. "Well, well, well, it seems our little Jamie isn't so invincible after all," she walked over to him and pinched his cheek like he was a baby, and laughed as he tied to seat her off. "What are you and your sublime skills going to do now, eh, buddy?"
"Okay, I still have no idea what's going on here," Dominique raised her hand and looked around to see if anyone was sharing her confusion. Only James, Alice, Fred, Frank, Scorpius and Molly seemed to understand what was going on here.
Molly stomped over to James and started hitting him repeatedly over the head with her book. "James. Sirius. Potter," she said each word with each hit. "You. Absolute. Bloody. Idiot. How. Dare. You. Steal. Anything. From. Your. Dad's. Office? UGH!"
As she kept hitting him, James finally drew enough common sense to think to run away. "It's not my fault Molly, you're the one who told Malfoy to stun me."
"You were going to prank him!" Molly cried indignantly, chasing him around the room with the heavy book in her hands. She was fuming now. How dare her cousin have so much disrespect? He didn't even know Scorpius. He could be the biggest dork on earth for all James knew. But he wouldn't ever know the truth unless he gave him a chance. "And his name is Scorpius!"
"Well—"
"ENOUGH!" Victoire shouted, and the room froze in shock. "That's enough, the both of you."
Molly was highly offended by that statement, but nonetheless did the mature thing and stopped. "You're right Victoire. We're already in this mess, we need to think of a way to get out."
"I don't know if there is one," Teddy said in the calmest voice he could muster.
"There has to be!" Lucy cried. "We can't be stuck here forever."
"Calm down, Luce," Molly gave her sister a sympathetic look. "We'll find a way out of here. Maybe we can go and see the headmaster. It would still be Dumbledore, wouldn't it?"
"I guess so," Teddy shrugged.
"Albus, did you tell Lily anything about you?" Molly asked seriously.
"Huh?" Lily asked. "I'm his sister, I know everything about him."
"I think she meant our Grandma, Lils," Albus laughed lightly. "Yeah, uh, I told her my name was Albus Wotter, that my dad has red hair, and that I'm writing a book. Oh, also, she realised we had the same eyes, so I told her that these were a disguise. Which reminds me, Teddy, you have to make my eyes brown."
"Alright, I'll try," Teddy nodded. "But since when are you writing a book."
"Well, I kind of spat my water on her when I found out her name, and she asked me why, and...It's a long story," Albus shrugged dismissively.
"You meet your dead grandma for the first time and you spit one her?" Frank asked. "Nice going Albus."
Jessica rolled her eyes, speaking up for the first time. "Leave him alone, Frank."
"Oooh, Albus has got himself a girlfriend," James teased. Jessica walked up to him innocently, and he looked down at her with raised eyebrows and a devilish smirk. She smiled back at him with the fakes sweet smile you could ever possibly imagine and then kneed him in the place where it hurts the most. James doubled over in pain, as everyone else doubled over in laughter, and Jessica walked back contently, taking her seat on the table next to Molly, after giving Ed her a hi five, of course.
"Wrecked," Frank incorporated the word into a cough not—so—subtly. James was in too much pain to reply.
"Alright, as funny as that was," Molly laughed. "We need to get back to business."
"Okay, some of us should go and see Dumbledore," Teddy said. "I'll go, since I'm the oldest. Who else is going to come?"
"Molly and Vic should go," Lorcan suggested.
"Yeah, they're the smartest," Lysander agreed.
"Alright, me, Molly and Vic," Teddy nodded. "Anyone else?"
"I think James and Scorpius should go," Rose suggested, looking to the blonde boy beside her. "James was the one who got us into the mess, and although I don't really blame Scorpius, he was a part of it."
Scorpius sighed, and everyone was surprised to hear him speak. "Alright, but Albus should come too. He's the one who met Lily."
"I'm his sist—"
"THE OTHER LILY!" Everyone shouted in unison.
"Okay, geez, calm down," Lily said. "I think I may need to change my name if we end up staying here. I can just be Luna, it'll make things much easier."
"We won't be here for long though, right Teddy?" Hugo asked.
Teddy looked unsure, but he nodded anyway. "No, Hugo, we won't. Molly, Vic, James, Scorpius, Albus and I will go and see Dumbledore and sort this whole thing out, and we'll all get home before your parents or anyone else find out that you're missing."
Molly sighed to herself, just as unsure as Teddy. She knew that they shouldn't have had that stupid party. Fred had been right, it was rather far fetched. She shouldn't have allowed it. Nor should she have told Scorpius to retaliate to James. Sure, this was mainly James' fault, but Molly couldn't help but feel partly responsible.

~I solemnly swear that I am up to no good~
Hey guys, I'm not dead. How great is that?!
So...my updating schedule isn't kind of nonexistent at the moment. I've been meaning to write this chapter for a few months now (I don't think I've updated since like...September, and it's almost March. That's like six months) but I haven't had much inspiration.
Every Sunday, I get a reminder on my iPad for me to update and I've felt really guilty ignoring it so many times, especially as more people start to vote on this book. So when I got it this time, I took an hour out of my day to write this chapter. I know it's quite short, and uneventful, but it's what I've got to offer at the moment. It's also not proof read, so...yeah...
I've started high school recently, and I've a got a lot of things going on, so I've been trying to get my priorities straight, as that's something I've always struggled with.
I've been more focused on writing on my other account lilyfanciesprongs , so if you want to go check my books out there, that'd be ace👌🏻
Today's question is:
What will happen when they meet Dumbledore?
And just as a bonus:
Who is your favourite character so far?
I know it took me a while (that's the understatement of the century) to update, (I SOLEMNLY SWEAR I'M SORRY) but please vote and comment! I'm so sorry for the extremely long wait. Thanks for your patience.
Next chapter is in Teddy's POV, but Merlin knows when that'll be out.
