I woke up early. I packed some of Angelo's things and Serious drove me back to my old house. I walked in carrying Angelo and he carried in his stuff. I turned on the light it was dusty inside and Dark. I opened the curtains and opened the window.

"Okay time to clean this place up." I said, ripping off the old curtains down. I dusted the house down and cleaned it. I tossed most of the old pictures of Damon but put the ones I kept in an photo album. I kept up the ones of the kids and put up new ones from our wedding and the ones we got with Anglo up. Then me and Serious getting everything ready.

"You stay here with Angelo I'll go get the paint for the walls." He said, I ran over.

"Just be back before sunrise love." I said, kissing him as he slipped out the door. I then shut the door and picked Angelo up and sat down turning on the news. As I nursed him.

"We advise all none humans. To stay in doors during the night. Due to a new group who's been targeting none humans." A reporter announced.

"You must be kidding. Must be so really stupid human to try and take down a nonhuman." I chuckled, patting his back when an arrow hit my shoulder. I looked at it and laughed looking at the young man who shot in. He just stared at me like an alien.

"You think that's really gonna hurt me kid now get out of here be fore I hurt you. Tell you friends to come out before I rip their guts out. All I better never catch you around again or I'll tear you into a million pieces and scatter them at bottom of the Pacific ocean." I said smirking pulling out and my shoulder healed instantly. He started shaking but didn't move. Till I waved my hand and they all disappeared. I went back to nursing. I fixed his shirt so his wings were showing it was bad for young angels to restrain their wings it can stunt the growth of their wings. I even pulled my wings out. He was squeezing his little fingers. I smiled humming him a song. When a male angel flew in through the window. He froze when he seen me. He put down a small woman who looked like an older version of me. She was beautiful. She ran over when she seen my wings.

"Your home. Ruby sweetie. I need you to come with me." She grabbed my arm. When she seen Angelo she stopped.

"You have children?" She asked, as I pulled my arm away and Serious walked in.

"Ruby do you know these people?" He asked, when she pulled me back but he grabbed my shoulder pulling me out of her grip.

"Now what do you want from my wife." He demanded turning me to him and pulled my top up. Angelo was out like a light. He wiped the milk off Angelo's mouth. They froze when they seen his fangs.

"He's your husband?" She asked.

"What's it to you? You people break into my house demand I go with you. Don't give me any reasons why or any explanation. Then start asking personal questions. What is the matter with you people." I yelled, trying not to wake my sleeping baby.

"Ruby calm down there's a good explanation. Just calm down." She said, walking over and Serious pulled me behind him.

"Please let me talk to her. Sweetie you know your not actually an orphan." She exclaimed.

"How did you know that?" I asked, when the male angel walked over. He was much older than me but it didn't take a genius to notice he was my father I looked almost exactly like him. I walked over and he lowered his head since he was a lot bigger than me. I touched his face hesitantly. When he put his hand over mine.

"Your more perfect than I imaged." He whispered slipping a golden pendant. Of a sword with angel wings coming out the sides.

"I'm her father relax Serious." He said, putting his hand on my shoulder. He handed me a box and the next thing I know there gone without a trace. I opened the box. There was a beautiful dress heels and jewelry which looked really really expensive. I picked up a nots.

'My dear Ruby I want you to come to a calibration I'm throwing in your honor.' The date was set two days away. I put it on the couch.

"At this rate we're never going to get this house fixed up." I sighed, he let out a deep breath sitting down.

"Your telling me. Can you go pick up the stuff." He asked, I handed him Angelo.

"Sure love be right back." I kissed him and kissed my angels head. I walked out I used my wings to fly to the nearest store for our kind. I hid my wings and walked in. It was very quiet. I walked over to picking up everything I needed to re due the house. It was very quiet I looked around noticing everyone was staring at me. They all looked down when I looked at them. I raised my eyebrow questioningly. When my phone rang I picked it up.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey baby girl it's me. Um I wanted to ask if you cared if I made your son my next heir?" He asked, it was my father.

"No go ahead daddy. I'm just happy you didn't freak because he's a hybrid." I smiled, walking up to the front.

"Thanks sweetie I love you." He said, hanging up. The woman who rang me up hands were shaking and she refused to look at me. The weird thing was when I tried paying for it she refused to take my money.

"Okay." I said, taking my bags and walking out. I pulled my wings out and flew home. When I got there they were fast asleep. So I finished remodeling the house myself. I fell asleep after sitting beside him. When I woke up his arms were around me. I jumped when I heard the door bell. Serious got up putting Angelo on my chest.

"I'll be right back love so please go back to sleep." He whispered kissing my head. He covered me up and walked out. I heard him open the door and as soon as I'm about to close my eyes someone ran over. It was three female fairy's. Cute little things. I sat up sleepily yawning when the young fairy king walked over with Serious. I stretched my wings out stretching. He smiled at me.

"Sweetie can you watch the baby for minute." I yawned again, rubbing my eyes. He took Angelo and kissed me grabbing my hand and pulling me to my feet. I kissed him walking sleepily up stairs. I got a shower, cleaned up, and got dressed. After brushing my hair I walked back down. He moved Angelo and I plopped down on his lap and buried my face in his shoulder rubbed my back as I nuzzled up to his neck.

"Sorry she's tired it's been a long day." He said, the king chuckled.

"No it's fine. She looks pretty exhausted." He smiled reaching over and running his fingers through my feathers. I fell asleep. When I woke up they were still there. I got up.

"Love you need to get up or you wouldn't be able to be awake to go to your parents tomorrow." He said, I yawned. I got up made breakfast while nursing Angelo. When a female walked over.

"Malady you don't have to do that." She said, I chuckle patting her head.

"I raised nine hybrid children I think I can cook. Now you go sit down I'll have it done shortly." I joked. She sat down.

"She likes to be independent." Serious smiled. I poured them out drinks.

"I understand but finding such a woman among the royal family's especially an angel is very rare. She's the only one I've met who isn't a snob." I realized that's why everyone at the store was acting funny I knew The pendant my dad gave me looked familiar. Its long Fury's family pendant. The king of the angels I felt so stupid for not noticing earlier.

"Ya well I also haven't had everything handed to me my whole life. I'm also a lot older than you think so I've got a lot more experience under my belt. Everything I've been through the life I've lived it changes a person. Makes them wise, strong, stern, and strong willed. No matter how hard things get I do what I must and get through it. The world is a cruel place I can't effort to be weak. Not if I'm to raise the strongest king. That's the difference between me and them I have purpose." I cut him off and set Angelo in his highchair after he was done nursing. I slipped him some blood when he started growing. Now he looked like a toddler.

"Umm is he supposed to do that." The king asked so I just grabbed a blood pack but when he drank it nothing happened. But when I used some of mine and he grew again so I just let him feed untill he grew into his young teen form. So he was still small and thin. His hight and muscle still hadn't came in yet.

"Mom I'm still not an adult." He whined.

"Well ya I don't want my baby to miss out on his childhood just yet." I exclaimed he pouted. I kissed his head.
