I was laying in my hospital bed surrounded by my family. As my life flashed before my eyes. I was born as an unwanted child. I grew up in orphanage. I was a quiet shy girl. My first friend turned out to be my soulmate. He was a vampire so time stood still for him. We met after he save my life when I was attacked by another vampire.  My life was dall and bland. He was the only thing that gave my life meaning. He wanted to marry me but couldn't. It would only put me in danger. But I loved him so much that didn't stop us from having children which were born damphirs. We had several children. He was an amazing father. But as I grew older I fell into a deep depression he left me and even ended up marrying. I was so depressed I couldn't do anything. He said, he left because he loved me and couldn't stand to see me like that. A couple of years later I found out I had cancer. Which is why I'm laying in this hospital bed dieing. My oldest child Madlion was holding my hand as I laid there I squeezed her hand.

"He's not coming is he? I should have known doesn't matter how much you love someone." I muttered, tears running don't my face. As I glanced at the mirror behind her. I was now 75 years old I had grown shriveled and ugly with my old age. My white hair was short. I closed my eyes right as someone ran in.

"Ruby keep your eyes open!" I heard someone yell I recognized it.

"Finally now I can die in peace." I muttered opening my eyes one last time to see his face. Or at least that's what I thought till he tried to give me his blood and something happened everything stopped. I opened my eyes and time had stopped.

"What the." I said, my voice sounded completely different. I looked at the mirror. I froze I was gorgeous my skin was tan, my lips were red, my hair was long wavy and red, tall, thin and had the perfect body. But I had huge white wings on my back.

"Mom relax. Your body changed so you could give birth to me." I heard a man say when I looked down and I seen a gold light coming from my stomach.

"What?" I asked.

"You came from a Angel bloodline. Your angelic blood awoke to when dad mixed his blood with your. I'm actually your first child I just laid dormant untill your angelic blood awoke and you are ready to give birth to me." He replied, as I remembered my first pregnancy we thought it was a miss carry. We were so heart broken.

"So it wasn't a miscarriage." I muttered smiling.

"No mother. I've been here the whole time." He chuckled, when a white dress suddenly appeared on me.

"When I'm born I'll become a powerful king which is why your so powerful. So I'll need your help if I want to grow up big and strong." He said, as his voice changed into a childs it was quiet adorable.  

"Now I can help you with whatever you need mommy so just ask. Now I'm going to help you I'm going to start time again." He said, I nodded when time started again and Damon my children's father stared at me.

"Shit I should have thought this all out first. Sheesh." I said, slipping out of his arms when I realized it was one of my son's Nickolas​ and I looked like an old woman again.

"Oh geez this wouldn't do right Angelo." I chuckled making myself look young. I heard him giggle.

"Much better right sweetie?" I smiled pushing my hair back and my wings accidentally came out.

"Dang it baby you totally gotta help you once your ready to come out how long do I have to carry you?" I asked, when my stomach started glowing.

"Only a little while but you can't raise me alone." He replied his voice sounded like a adults again. His voice was deep and husky like his father's. When Madlion walked over.

"Mom?" She asked, I smiled kissing her forehead.

"Hey sweetie sorry I didn't know till your older brother told me." I replied, she looked at my stomach. When a figure appeared in front of me it was engulfed in gold light as it faded I see a tall man that looked like Damon but had my hair and tan skin. He had the eyes like a vampire but they were blue. He even had his father's fangs. He had huge white wings like but me. But he also had horns signaling that he was a half breed. He was perfect.

"Sorry this is the best I can do sis. Its an illusion so no one can touch me unless moms touching me." He said, she nodded. I touched his arm and he hugged her.

"She needs help dad's obviously not going to help her. She can't raise me on her own I'm the first hybrid so she can't do it alone." He whispered, letting go. His sister eyes started watering. Him and Madlion are practically twins.

"Fine but when your an adult I want you to look after me." She joked, choking back her tears.

"You got it little sis. But I look after all my siblings." He informed them. My children all smiled at him and his youngest sister ran up. Our youngest child was Athena and due to the fact that she stopped growing at a young age so she still looked like a child.

"I might be the only one with wings but that doesn't mean you didn't get her power Angels are the oldest and most powerful beings. That's why an angel can only give birth to one more then three offspring of their kind which is why I'm the only one. But I'm a lot stronger than an average male Angel. Male are made to be warriors so their extremely strong. But I'm made for more than that. She needs help raising me because when I'm an adult I'll become a very powerful king. The strongest ruler that ever existed." He exclaimed picking up Athena. He kissed her head. All my children surrounded him. He handed Athena to his brother, and walked over to me.

"Mother I have to rest now be careful." He said, I nodded and he faded away as he kissed my head. I smiled touching my stomach as the light faded. Then I yawned stretching my arms out when one of my son's picked me up.

I awoke laying in a bed in Madlion's house. She lived in her uncle's Serious's district he's Damon's older brother and he's a king. I blinked repeatively trying to adjust to the light when I heard Angelo laughing. I looked down to see Serious talking to him. My stomach was a lot bigger.

"Serious?" I asked sitting up when he jumped up to help me.

"When the kids told me what happened asking for help. I rushed over I couldn't just sit back. Your going to need help." He exclaimed. Even though I was the mother of his brothers children he was crazy about me. He even purposed to me but I turned him down because I loved his brother.

"What are you suggesting?" I asked, he grabbed my hand.

"What do you think the boy needs a father and my brothers defiantly not going to do it. So why not give a real man a chance?" He asked, getting on one knee.

"I think I've made you wait long enough alright." I smiled he let out a deep breath and hugged me.

"Thank you. You wouldn't regret this." He whispered in my ear. Slipping a ring on my finger. He picked my up a carried me down stairs.

"Your mother said yes." He announced, I heard them cheering, they hugged and congratulated us. Then he carried me down his car and took me to his palace. He already had everything ready for a wedding. He even had the exact wedding dress my old best friend Kate had especially made for me. I thought she had thrown it away. I quiet speaking to her after Damon left and I found out she was the one he married. I ran over gripping the long lace sleeves. It had a heart neckline with lace going up to my neck. I had always loved it it. I smiled running my fingers down the sleeve.

"I got it off her before she tossed it. I'm going to try to get everything ready before you have Angelo. Which shouldn't be too long considering his growth rate. I want us to be married before he's born. " He informed me. I nodded as he rubbed my stomach.

"Hear that buddy I'm going to be your father how's that sound?" He asked, when he giggled making my stomach light up. As I sat down in the bed.

"Really daddy yay." His voice sounded like a child's again. He smiled kissing my stomach.

"Ya champ." He exclaimed. I petted Serious head as he looked up at me. He leaned up and kissed me. I smiled and kissed him passionately.

"I've been waiting my whole life for this you know." He whispered putting his head to mine. When I seen adoption papers. I looked at him questioningly.

"I since we're getting married I adopted all of you children." He informed me I hugged him.

"Thank you." I whispered he kissed me. He waited on me hand and foot hardly letting me do anything. Its only been a couple of days but I already looked like I was ready to pop. When he made asked me to get ready all my daughters helped me get ready for the wedding. They did my makeup and everything. They were all excited. One of my eldest son's Kyle came to walk me down the aisle. I smiled when I seen him at the end. I walked past all our family and children. They all got quiet. I smiled at him as we stood up front.

"You look amazing dear." He whispered. I chuckled. He was the one that looked amazing. He looked so handsome. When the priest started talking.

"Do you Serious take this beautiful young woman to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health to have and to hold for the rest of your life." The priest asked.

"I do." Serious anwesered.

"And do you take Serious to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health to have and to hold for the rest of your life." He asked me.

"I do." I replied. We exchange rings.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." He announced and he kissed me passionately. Our kids cheered when my water broke.

"Crap Angelo right now." I said, taking off I went straight to one of the room. Serious chased me. 

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Baby's coming." I said, he ran over got my dress off and got me on the bed. Me and him just delivered Angelo. He was so small and thin. He was an baby. He opened his little eyes and started crying. He put him on my chest and he settled down as he started nursing. He cleaned me up and slipped my evening gown on. After he fell asleep on me Serious gathered all the clothes I got blood on and carried them out. When all the guested gathered outside the door. I motioned my children over. They ran over surrounded Angelo.

"Man hard to believe big bro started out that small."  Nickolas said, petting his head.

"That's why he needs our help if he's going to grow up big and strong." I said, cradling him in my arms. When I caught Damon and Kate watching me. I quickly looked away. 

"I can't wait untill he's fully grown. I miss my big brother." Athena squealed.

"Well since he's a hybrid he'll grow rapidly. So he'll be back to being an adult soon. But till then we all have to look after him okay." I said, when Serious walked in taking him he hugged him kissing his head.

"I couldn't be prouder of you. You did amazing job giving birth to him. Angelo's perfect you did good my Ruby." He said, I smiled. 

"Ruby?" I heard Damon mutter. I smirked, wrapping myself up and standing up. I walked over to the mirror fixed my hair. Then I moved my fingers making Angelo float over to me.

"Sweeties you want to help momma pick out something for your older brother." I asked Athena brought me over something she picked out. I knelt down taking it.

"Nice work sweetie it's perfect." I smiled and kissed her forehead. She giggled and I put it on Angelo. He giggled squirming. I tickled him and slipped it on. Then I picked him up snuggling him kissing him. He laughed loudly smiling grabbing my face. Serious smiled and walked over he bent down to eye level with him picking him up and started tickling him and playing with him. I laughed. Damon was never like with our children. In fact when he left the only child he took was Athena. But Kate doesn't let her visit me. I picked her up kissing her head when I pulled out my wings. They all got quiet.

"Can't be?" I heard Damon mutter. I stretched them out.

"Much better." I sighed flexing them. When Serious kissed the ends of my feathers. 

"And their as beautiful as my new bride." He said, making me blush bright red.

"Well aren't you quiet the Romeo. I really shouldn't have rejected the first time you purposed." I said, when he snuck up behind me kissing me.

"Warn me before you do that I almost hit you." I laughed.

"Defensive much. Relax dear." He teased. When I yawned. 

"Okay shows over momma needs her rest." He said, ushering everyone out. He kept My old house to since all my children grew up their. He wanted Angelo to experience life not just as a royal but as a normal human like I did. I laid down and went to sleep with my little angel and Serious.
