I just dropped off Eric at home. Our dinner tonight was amazing. And I know that what Chad said was wrong. He cheated on me and made me temporarily feel like a whore.

But you know what. I'm not. I am officially in a relationship with Eric. He's my boyfriend and I'm his girlfriend. We are in love. And I am confident that he will never treat me like Chad.

I reach my destination and get out of my car. I lock and walk up to the front door. Pulling the handle, I smile because its open. Taking one last deep breath I walk inside.

I walk up the stairs and open the door. There she is. Sitting on her bed staring into space. Her eyes widen when she sees me.

"Lily?" She sounds lost

"Hey Lucy." I give her a small smile while I walk towards her.

I sit on her bed and we just sit there. Not talking, no nothing. Until finally I break the silence.

"Why did you do it?"

Lily looks at me with wide eyes as she answers "I really like him. Ever since this summer when you went away on vacation, I have developed feelings for him. And then one night we were together and he kissed me. And then from there we.." She let's her voice trail off.

"So you're in love?" I already know the answer

"Yes." She looks down ashamed

"Lucy, don't do that. What you did was awful. But sometimes when you're in love you do crazy things. You take a leap of faith" I laugh to myself realizing how literal that was for me " The point is, don't ever be ashamed of your love. Because honestly, love isn't something you can control."

Lucy begins to cry and I know what I have to do. I put my arm around her and comfort her.

"Lily, will you ever forgive me?" Lucy cries out

"Of course I will eventually. You're my best friend. But it will take time. I'm still hurt. But nothing should ever be able to kill our friendship. Its too important." I answer honestly

She just continues to cry and hug me.

"I'm going to keep it. I promised myself that I would. And that I would finish school." She tells me

"Lucy, I will be here for you. I promise"

And then we sit there together until she finally falls asleep. I get up from her bed and put a blanket on her. Then I put a hand on her stomach and send out a silent prayer that it'll all work out. I look at the time and start to walk out her door.

I stop when I hear her sleepily whisper behind me "Lily, will you please stay?"

I smile to myself and get into her bed. Even though we're going through a rough patch, I know that she's my best friend and I will always be here right when she needs me.

I pull out my phone and realize that its Monday night. Its amazing how many things have happened since Friday. How many ups and downs in just a short amount of time. How you can loose and gain the same friendship. And even fall in love. But I guess that's how time works. Isn't it?

Alright so that's it. It was partially inspired from something I went through with my friend. I mean it wasn't this scandals but I always found it weird how things changed in a short amount of time. So I wrote this.

So now that you've read this all... Please leave a comment on what the name should be? Cause I really have no idea.
