I've a new resolution,

To find a solution,

For the heartbreak and distress

And the chaos that affects,

The broken hearts and the souls

I have to make them whole.


Can't you see

As Cupid—it isn't easy,

For me to work

My arrows on jerks.


My slingshots only transform those

Whose hearts have been pure,

The ones who have no deceit

Their mind is at peace.


All I know is

My load just got more,

It doesn't bother me anymore

I can fix all,

I'll make them heed my call

Of love and  laughter,

My arrows travel faster

The world has known hate,

I'll make them contemplate

The seriousness of their deeds,

I am Cupid. Indeed!
