Before I begin there is a friend that is going through some tough times that was the inspiration behind this OC spirit. Essentially I just wanted to say some good words.

Chima we love you and best or luck to the life ahead. Cheers. I hope you like Valena. And, please don't slap me later. Please? Enjoy though.

That damn Westcott. That crazy man is behind all of this. Power. Reine. Everything. Without him, chances are I live a normal life. Though, I wouldn't have the modern experience of seeing how the world is, defending those who deserve it, and even dating (FN) for the romance I could only dream about. But for non-selfish reasons I have to say that he is the reason why most people here live in fear. 

Now the fact of the matter is I have to supervise my boyfriend who has not been in a fight with his spirit powers before against a spirit that I can't just take out without cracking a sweat. After all, she's a DEM project now. Code named, Butterfly. And she isn't as cute as her name suggests. 

Kurumi when she heard the alarm had to spring into action. She had to find the boys. The girls were on call, but this was a new spirit. Kotori seemed to not have this one under radar either. Now time to figure things out all over again. A spirit that the team and the readers have never met before.

< Boys? > Kotori was signaling to both (FN) and Shido.

"I'm outside the school and heading towards downtown." (FN) reported in.  "Shido. How you making out?"

"I'm just leaving the building. The girls are alright. Though where's the girlfriend, Yoshino, and Yoshinon?" Shido was doing the best he could. He had more of a delay.

< Reine is watching them. Kurumi I think is trying to find position of the new spirit. I'm trying to find out exactly who this is. >

"Well that's a relief. Let me know if you see or detect anything." Replied (FN).

As he walked down the street to see if he can get a sign it was quiet. Everyone seemed to have been in the shelters. Not a whole lot of damage done by his end. No collapsed buildings and such. Just some cars tipped over and a telephone pole down. In comparison to other disasters since the two boys recieved earpieces, this is nothing to complain about. Though, the abnormal certainly doesn't feel right.

Just then a building had all of it's glass shatter. There was a huge breaking sound. Glass falling from even twenty stories up. (FN) ran over towards a car and ducked behind it. Waiting for the crashing sounds to stop. It was too good to he true. Because carnage isn't quiet.

< You okay Bro? > Asked Kotori.

"I feel like something is off. I don't know what." He replied.

< You know, usually the damage is done. Not this time around I guess. But hey hopefully she's nice. >

< I haven't seen her yet but scanners are showing that you are close by. And so is Kurumi. I thought the two of you went over protocol. > Huffed Kotori.

"We did. But also something seems strange. Tell me now. Why the sudden damage and not a huge boom like every other time? Minus the twins with the big wind storm. Something doesn't feel right this time around. Do you know what I mean? She's not making herself known. The spirit we're looking for isn't seen right now." (FN) did have a point. Tohka made her presence. As did Yoshino with Yoshinon. Kurumi did quietly. The twins caused a storm. And Miku was loud and entertaining. Now there is a spirit that doesn't want to show herself. 

"Hehehe." There was an echoing giggle.

"Woah now." (FN) stood up and walked in front of the car he was hiding behind. "Hello?"

"There are some that are attracted to danger." Said a woman's voice.

< Bro it has to be her. > Said Kotori.

"Who's out there?" Called (FN).

"I have a name you know." Said the voice again.

"Where are you?" He asked. Just then heard a window from the car rolling down. He looked in the back seat. It was a girl with medium-short, black hair with an edgy style and black heavy makeup. Not gothic, but it was a unique design to say the least. "Hello. Sorry about that."

"My window was cracked. They're tinted. I see why you didn't notice me. I understand." She smirked.

"So, first off can I get your name?" He asked.

"Valena. And so, what are you doing here sweet boy?"

Kotori was having options pulled up on the screens aboard the ship. A quick A, B, and C. "Hurry up all. Quickly."

A. I was looking for you.

B. I'm just trying to get home.

C. I'm lost and I'm looking for my friend.

"A across the board. Wing it Bro."

He gave his answer. "I was actually looking for you."

She giggled. "And why little ol' me Itsuka?"

"You know my name?" He gasped.

"Yup. Keep it our little secret. Shall we?" She winked at him. "You know how to drive?"

"Ah, no. I, walk and take the bus and train actually." He sweatdropped.

Valena sighed. "Pity. Although, been a while since I've explored a little. Hold the door for me please?"

"Sure thing." (FN) was curious what she was up against. He opened the door to see these tall boots reach out. Thigh high, black leather boots. To pearl skin, a black skirt that was way too short, and a red blouse. (FN) was facing away until she walked in front of him. Then closed the door. "So you're keeping it here for now?"

"I suppose so. And for someone younger, you're really cute." Cooed Valena.

"Young?" (FN) looked at her. She's maybe 5'4" in those boots with heels. But, he knew no one at his school or even his age to would wear such a racy outfit.

"I'm 23. And you?" She asked.

"Well, not old enough to drink yet. How's that?" He replied.

"But old enough to be mine if I felt like it. Let's go. Been a while since I went for a walk. Shall we? A lady needs a proper escort." She winked at him.

"Sure thing." He watched her cling to his elbow. "So then, downtown?"

"Please."

I was thrown off when I saw this one. But I wasn't sure if Darling was still growing his charm or not. His step brother has more of it, but his was growing gradually with time as we were together. But to have Menace showing her around the area, I was scared. She was going to bait him like a fish. From there, who knows what would happen. But I didn't want the classified project from DEM hang out with him. It was only a matter of time before the AST barged in anyways. Especially since AST and DEM sort of had a broken relationship at this point.
