Hermione was sitting in the library alone as she was doing the assessment that Snape had assigned them just two days ago which was due tomorrow morning just before the Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw game. Hermione had been working on the assessment from lunch, she didn't have any classes after lunch so she picked after lunch to finish her work. She was sitting there alone until Ron walked up to her "Hey Mione" he said with a big boyish grin, she gave him a fake smile, she had wanted to get her work done before dinner but she knew that he might be asking for homework help and she really wanted to relax for the rest of the day "Ronald I am not doing your work. I want to relax and not do work" she said "Oh no no...I wanted to ask you something actually" he said, she sighs "can't it wait? I really want to get out of here" she said sleepy "no it can't wait" he said, he sat down next to her. He took her hand and looks at her "I have known you since first year and I have always thought you were incredible and you still are...what I am trying to say.." he takes a deep breath and looks at her "I really like you...." he said "will you be my girlfriend?" he asked hopefully that she would say yes.

Hermione looked at him in shock "What?" she said in shock "I don't like you like that..." she said as she began to pack up her things "I'm really sorry....but I like someone else" she said keeping her head low "your like a brother to me" Ron got angry "like a brother to you?" he snapped. Hermione got up and began to walk away which made him follow her "Are you kidding me? Who is it?" he yelled "I'm not telling you that it's personal. And don't you dare yell at me" she snapped as she walked down the hall "Who is it? Fred? George? Harry? Or do you have low standards and have a thing for Malfoy?" Hermione began to tear up "At least Fred and George don't stuff their faces when they are with me!" she yelled. Ron's face began to get redder "You like fred" he yelled "I never said that! I said Fred and George!" she yelled "Melin Ronald! Clean your ears!" she snapped as she tried to walk away. Ron grabs her arm "Don't you dare walk away from me!" he screams which had caused Hermione to break down crying "Fred would never like a know-it-all thing like you!", she pushes him away and begins to cry as she runs in the direction of the girls bathroom.

As Hermione ran to the girls bathroom, she had bumped into the Weasleys twins. They looked down at her then both of their faces began to soften when they saw her crying, Hermione began to run away again which then resulted in the twins following her. Once they entered the bathroom they saw Hermione rocking back and forth as she cried. Fred slowly walked over to her "shh you're okay..." he whispered when he sat next to her holding her close to him "shhh don't worry" he said as he held her to his chest. George sat at the other side of her "What happened granger?" he asked, she looks at him then fred then back to the floor "Ron told me that....that he liked me....I told him I didn't like him that way because I seen him like a brother to me and that I like someone else..." she began to cry harder and cires into Fred's chest "He began to yell at me...." Fred rubs her back as George watches her then looks at Fred, they gave each other a nod "Mia..." Fred whispered "How about the three of us go to the kitchens once you are all cleaned up and calm?" he suggested to her which made her smile "I like that. Thank you both of you" she said as she hugs fred the george. Fred stood up helping her up as he did, George got up and smirked at them which Hermione didn't see it but Fred did and blushed a light shade of pink "You get cleaned up and we will meet you back at the common room okay?" she nods and hugs him tightly "Thanks Freddie" she said looking up at him, she then turned to George "Thanks Georgie" she said as she hugs him tightly "No problem granger" he said. Fred rubs her back "You get cleaned up and we will wait in the common room" she nods at him, the twins kiss one side of her cheek which made her giggled, the twins leave to let her cleaned up.

Fred and George are walking in sync with each other "Do you really think Ron actually did what she said he did?" George asked Fred "I know she doesn't lie but a part of me doesn't want to believe that our brother would do that to her" Fred nods as he listened to his brother "I do...he sounds like him. He hates not getting his way, remember when mum and dad got Gin a broom and he asked if he could get one and they said no" he said "and he used to give Gin dirty looks for weeks until he 'accidently' pushed Gin down the stairs" George frowns and nods "I guess it wouldn't be too surprising if her really did it to her" he said. George said the password and they entered the common room, they found Ron sitting with Harry, Fred's blood was boiling from anger "Ronald! We need to have a brother talk" George said, keeping Fred behind him. Ron nodded and got up and walked over to his older brothers "What is it?" he asked tiredly "What did you do to Granger?" George asked trying to take control of the situation "I told her I liked and she had a diva fit and said that she liked someone else. Then she ran off crying because I know what she is really like" he said in a snarky tone "Says the guy who grabbed both of her wrists and bruised them!" Fred yelled "Awk looks like she got her boyfriend to come save her" he laughs, George was holding Fred back "Ron give up! You hurt her physically that is not on!" George said "So? She deserved what she got" he said, that had pushed Fred over the edge, he punched Ron in the face breaking his nose, Ron held his bloody nose and looks at fred "What the fuck!" he yelled as he punched Fred in the face. The two brothers began to hit each other, making the other bleed, while they were fighting Hermione walked in "Fred!" she cried, once he heard her say his name he stopped but Ron took advantage and punched him bruising his eye. Harry pulled Ron away from Fred, he took him to the dorm rooms, while Hermione ran over to Fred, she put his head in her lap and ran her hand through his hair which calmed him down quickly "I'm so so sorry freddie...This is all my fault" she had tears running down her face, Fred weakly brought his hand up and wipes her tears away "Shh Mia...I'm okay" he whispered trying to calm her down and to get her to stop crying "I'm going to take you to the hospital wing" she whispered to him as she helps him.

Fred had an arm around Hermione's shoulders as they walked down the hall in the hospital wing "I'm sorry for what Ron did to you Mia" Fred whispered to her softly, she smiles at him then kissed him softly on his cheek "I'm so sorry Ron did this to you" she whispered. Fred pulled her close to him, she was cuddling into his side as they walked down the hall. The whole time they were walking down the hall to the hospital wing was spent talking and laughing with each other.

Once they got to the hospital,Fred was ushered to a bed which made Hermione giggle when Fred made faces at her while he was being brought to a bed, Hermione sat in a chair that was right next to his bed. Fred smiles looking over at her "You don't have to stay. I'm a big boy I can spend the night alone" he joked which made her smile at him "I know....it's just...I feel bad so I wanted to make sure your...okay" she said softly, Fred smiles and grabs her hand and squeezed it "Thank you Mia" he said softly then he pulls her to him "Don't lie in that chair all night Mia...lie next to me" he whispered "I promise to be the best gentleman that you have ever met" he said which made her giggle and nod "Alright but keep your hands to yourself Weasley" she said which made him throw his hands in the air "alright I'll sleep like this...goodnight" he said as he closed his eyes. Hermione got into bed with him as she laughs then she playfully hits his chest, he drops his hands and put them on where she hit him "Oh how you wound me Granger" she laughs as she rest her head on his chest, he began to rub her back, he didn't realize that she was crying until he looked down at the sleeping hermione on his chest, he frowns "I hate that I'm the reason that you are crying...I hate that I'm not able to make you happy the way you should be....I hate that I can't be the reason that you smile....I hate that my brother hurt you....I hate that I am unable to tell you that I like you more than a friend" he whispered. He strayed awake for about ten more minutes until he fell asleep as he held Hermione close to him.

George was making his way down the halls to the hospital wing, he was walking alone, nodding and giving people smiles. When he smiles at some girls they all giggle at each other and begin to talk and look at him, he smirked and kept making his way to the hospital wing, once he got to the hospital wing, he sees Hermione sleeping on Fred's chest while Fred is asleep holding her close as he slept, George smiles at them and turns around and leaves them alone so they are able to sleep. George made his way to the common room, the halls were quiet as people began to go to their common room to go to bed as it was about to be curfew. He entered the common room and went to the desk and began to write to his mother.

'Dear mum,

How are you? How is dad? How is Bill, Charlie and Percy? I can't wait to see you all at christmas, are we all still coming for christmas? Or are you visiting Charlie again?

Ginny is doing well, she would write to you but she has been so focused on her school work and quidditch that she never has time to write. She made it on the team which was no surprise to anyone since everyone except Percy and Ron were on the team. She is really good! She asks me and Fred to help her practice on the weekends when she doesn't have work.

Ron is being the same old Ron. He got mad at Hermione today because she told him that she didn't like her. She had a crying fit which ended up in her crying into Fred's chest. Other than that he is all good.

I'm doing alright, school is boring so it's normal. I haven't broken any bones so that is good.

Fred is doing good too. Oh did I mention that Fred and Ron got into a physical fight? Ron said something about Hermione beginning a diva and Fred punched him. They both have broken noses but Ron punched Fred in the eye when Hermione tried to get Fred to stop. Fred is in the hospital wing right now with Hermione, I went to check on him and they were both asleep in eachothers arms which was sweet. I think she is blaming herself for what had happened to Fred, which I have a feeling that Fred had to try and calm her down and try to tell her that it wasn't her fault and that he did it because he wanted to be a good friend. I think Fred likes her...but I am not sure all I know is that Ron does like her but she doesn't feel the same. Other than that he is doing alright, we haven't been pranking as much this year, which you would be happy about we have only done one and that was Hermione's birthday to lead her to her present.

Other than all of that we are all good, if anything does happen I will write to you and let you know about.

George sent the letter to his mother then he goes to the sofa and rubs his neck as he leans back in the sit, he sighs and watches the fire, he sat there for a couple of alone until he felt someone sit next to him, he looked over and seen this browned haired girl with light brown skin. George smiles "Why are you up Jonhson?" he asked "I can't sleep. You?" George sighs and rubs his neck "I'm worried about Fred is all" she nods and grabs his hand then squeezed his hand "he is going to be okay alright" she said softly, he smiles and squeezed her hand "Thanks Jonhson" she giggles. They stayed up for hours getting to know each other and talking about what they want to do in the future, they stayed up talking until Angelina fell asleep on George's shoulder.
