"IKARIS IS planning something,'' Theia said to Druig. "He's hiding something. And I'm sure he'll turn on us and I know what I have to do." She paced across her room, "I need to kill him." Her eyes lit up as she had an idea, "If he does turn on them, I'll go with him and make it seem like I'm on his side so I can kill him."

Druig nodded.

Theia smiled softly, "Druig, if I die--"

"You won't."

"If I do, please know that it isn't your fault."

"I'M GLAD YOU two are here," Ikaris said, his tone sincere as the trio looked down at Tiamut.

Theia smiled lightly, "You're my brother."

Ikaris smiled at her and they continued to watch the volcano in silence.

Until Ikaris spoke up, "We need to move fast." As he flew away.

Sprite stayed there while Theia went to where she and Druig agreed on meeting.

She waited shortly until he, Sersi, and Makkari came into view. She smiled at them and waved them over. They stood in their position and wrapped the rings over their wrists, "Now we must put it to sleep." Sersi said as the ring locked, sending power through them as they rose in the air.

Theia waited anxiously, looking over her shoulder and in the sky to make sure Ikaris wasn't around.

The coast was clear for barely five minutes when she saw Ikaris flying toward them, "Shit! Shit! Shit!"

Theia blinked once and Druig was on the ground. "Ikaris!" She cried, forming a ball of sunlight in her hands, ready to strike him at any time, guarding Druig's body.

Ikaris pushed past her, "I should've done this five centuries ago." and grabbed Druig's collar.

She struck him with the glowing warmth between her palms and formed another.

Ikaris fell to the ground, and Theia rushed down to Druig.

"Are you okay? Are - Are you hurt?"

Druig shook his head, turning around, his face facing hers, and smiled sheepishly, which didn't last long because Ikaris grabbed Theia. A flash of panic washed over Druig's face and Theia had never been so scared in her entire life.

Her feet lifted off of the ground and before she knew it, she was in the air, being held by only Ikaris's left hand.

She felt a sharp pain go up her back as she collapsed on a hard, rocky ground. She groaned softly. She couldn't see Ikaris, which meant he was probably killing Druig right now.

Theia rolled over and got up slowly.

She looked up at her brother to see him facing the opposite direction, his shoulders shaking. Walking over to him slowly, she rested a hand on his, and almost immediately, he hugged her tightly, sobbing into her shoulder.

Theia froze, not knowing what to do, she slowly brought her arms up and hugged him back, rubbing small circles on his lower back, "Hey, It's okay... It's okay."

"You're my sister." He cried, "You're supposed to always be on my side."

He knows.

"Ikaris--"

She felt him shake his head beneath her, "No."

"It's okay. Shh, it's oka--" She felt something stab her in the stomach, like her organs were being ripped apart.

She tasted blood on her tongue as her knees gave out and she collapsed on the ground.

"I'm sorry, Theia. It had to be this way." She heard Ikaris say before flying away.

She reached her hand to where the pain had been in her stomach before pulling it back up to reveal her hand covered in blood. Her blood.

Her brother had just stabbed her.

Time seemed to slow because she felt like she had been lying there, on the cold ground for hours.

When it had seemed like it was at least ten hours she had been laying there when really it had only been a matter of seconds, someone was running toward her and shouting her name.

Not just anyone--Druig.

Druig's face was colored in utter and sheer terror. His vision immediately blurred as he dropped to his knees, holding Theia's head off of the ground, using his other hand to stroke her cheek and push the hair out of her face, "No, no, no." He panicked, his eyes wandering down her body and to the blood draining out of her stomach, "Not my love. Not my darling, Theia." he searched for something on him that he could wrap around her stomach, to put pressure on the wound. But there was nothing. He tugged at his suit to try and take it off but it didn't budge. He felt so helpless in that moment.

He shook his head over and over as tears streamed down his face before a hand touched his face.

Theia's hand was cold and frail, not at all like the warmth it had always carried before.

Theia's hand stroked Druig's face as her eyelids began to feel heavy and she struggled to keep them open. "Druig."

Druig brought his hand up to hers, "I'm here. I'm here, love." He choked on a sob.

She smiled a tired smile at him, "I love you."

Druig shook his head again, "No, Theia. Love, we're gonna get you out of here and you're gonna be okay. I promise."

"You don't have to make a promise you know you cant keep."

He cried harder, his head lowering. "Somebody help!" He shouted, begging for anyone to help.

"Druig. Listen, I am in the arms of the love of my life, I get to die happily, with my soulmate next to me. Okay? Don't you understand? Please, let me go. I've spent my entire life fighting and I can finally rest. Please, let me rest."

He moved his hand down to her stomach, trying to stop as much blood from coming out as possible. "No, Theia we're going to get you out of here. Our story isn't done yet."

"Forever fell apart, Druig." Theia said, her voice soft and content as her eyes closed.

"Theia. Theia!" He shook her, attempting to wake her up, but she didn't move. Instead, her head fell backward.

Druig set her head back on the ground gently, and removed his hand that was now covered in blood, and brought it up to her chest, as he began CPR. "Please, Please. Stay with me, Theia. Stay with me! You're all I have left--I cant lose you." He repeated through tears, praying that it would somehow bring her back. He stayed there, performing CPR on a lifeless body for what felt like an eternity.

DRUIG WALKED back to Makkari, Sersi, Phastos, Thena, and Sprite.

He had Theia's lifeless body in his arms while he was covered in her blood. He watched their faces and shook his head. "She's gone."

He kneeled down, setting her down gently. He looked at her for a moment before brushing the loose hairs out of her face and kissed the top of her head, "Till Forever Falls Apart, love."
