THEIA FELT A sharp pain in her chest before her mind drifted off to somewhere she hadn't been before. It was dark and there was a tall red shadow before her.

"Hello, Theia." the voice spoke.

But before she knew it, she was back in reality.

"EVERYONE I'VE ever loved has left me."

"Is this about Druig? You're still failing to get over him? Theia, it's been two thousand years." Kingo groaned,

Theia rolled her eyes, "Kingo, I'm serious. First, it was Ikaris and then it was Druig. Who's next, you?"

Kingo walked out of his dressing room, "How do I look?"

"You're wearing the same costume as you do everyday."

Kingo huffed, "Just because you're in a bad mood doesn't mean you have to put me in one." He muttered, "I can fire you, you know."

Theia smiled sarcastically, raising her eyebrows in amusement. She crossed her arms over her chest, hugging the clipboard tight to her chest, "Then why don't you? You act like I want to be here."

"Kingo, you're on in thirty seconds." One of the producers spoke.

"That's my cue," Kingo spoke in a sing-song voice, grinning.

Theia rolled her eyes once more, glancing at the time on her watch.

And she found herself thinking back on memories from the past.

"PHASTOS." Ajak said, her voice stern as she walked into the room, "Did you go to the party last night like I told you to?"

Phastos clasped his hands together, "Uh," he stammered, "The party last night? Yeah."

"You worked all night." Druig retorted from the windowsill.

"Who was talking to you?" Phastos scolded, causing Druig to laugh.

Overhearing, Theia walked over to where the group was, she approached Druig, sitting down next to where his feet had been before he moved them onto the ground, allowing her access to move closer, she did.

"Ajak's yelling at Phastos about the party?" Theia questioned.

Druig nodded, shoving a handful of food into his mouth, "You want some?"

Theia chuckled lightly, grabbing the bag from his hand and reaching her own into the bag. Taking a handful, she passed it back to the brunette before eating the food.

"You look lovely today," Druig said softly, his eyes dancing over her features. A soft blush spread across her cheeks, coloring them pink.

Rolling her eyes, "I thought we agreed you'd stop doing that."

"I thought you loved it," Druig grinned, "You want me to stop?"

Theia rolled her eyes, inching herself further away from him."You're relentless."

Druig chuckled, wrapping his arm around her, forcing her closer to him as he pressed his lips to the top of her head.

"Okay. Okay, you two can stop now." Phastos pleaded, causing the duo to share a laugh. Druig stood to examine what Phastos had been speaking of. While Sersi stepped in front of Theia, preventing her from getting up.

"Have you seen Ikaris?" She wondered aloud, Theia shook her head and apologized momentarily before joining Ajak and Druig in Phastos' creation. Druig glanced down at her and smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close to him, leaning his head on top of hers.

THEIA STILL remembered the first time she had met Druig.

She recalled being in a dark room with only one window, it was quite large and it had seemed as though they were in space.

Theia was looking outside of the window, shifting her weight onto the wall.

Feeling a pair of eyes on her, she looked up to see a tall, brunette looking down on her. He had a small smile on his face and his features were soft. And the stars outside reflected on his face, lighting it up.

He was beautiful.

He cleared his throat, "I'm Druig."

She nodded, and with a smile, said, "I'm Theia."

His smile grew, as if pleased to hear her say her own name.

She turned back to look out the window while he tried to do the same, though, he couldn't bring himself to move his eyes away from her. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

She nodded her head once, "Yes. Very."

AND REMEMBERED when he left.

"Druig, I don't understand. Please, just talk to me!" Theia pleaded, tears welling in her eyes.

Druig continued walking, ignoring her completely, clenching his jaw tighter in an attempt to stop himself from crying.

"Druig!" She caught up to him, gripping his wrist slightly.

He turned around to face her and instantly regretted it. Seeing the hurt in her eyes and the tear that streamed down her soft cheek, he clenched his fists to his side, being the only thing keeping him from wiping the tear off of her face.

"Please," She croaked, reaching for his hand, but he pulled it away.

Druig shook his head, "I'm doing this for you. To protect you."

"Doing what to protect me?'' She cried, her voice breaking, "Druig, I don't understand."

He sniffled, "You'll thank me later, love." As soon as the word 'love' left his mouth, he winced, pursing his lips, knowing he was supposed to be cruel over kind to get Theia to hate him so that she wouldn't be miserable for the next century, if not more.

"You promised," her voice was soft, yet unsteady, drained from the tears that ached her throat, "You promised. 'Till Forever Falls Apart'? God, don't you remember?"

He did. He did remember, though, he wished he didnt. It would be so much easier if he didnt.

"Please, just stay. We can talk about this. I - Druig, Ikaris just left me, Sersi left me...I dont know if I can do this without you."

"Well, you're going to have to." His mind was made up. In that moment, she knew there was nothing she could do. It was a feeling she had never wanted to feel again.

And with that, he turned away from her and walked out.

She became nothing more than a pile of tears.

"THEIA WILL BE so excited to see you!" Theia heard kingo exclaim, his voice getting louder as he got closer, snapping her out of her thoughts and back into reality.

She set her phone back in her pocket, "Theia!" Kingo shouted, excitement clear in his voice.

She looked up to see Ikaris, Sersi and Sprite next to Kingo.

Her eyes widened as her mouth fell agape, barely paying any attention to Sersi or Sprite, she got off the counter she had been sitting on and walked up to Ikaris and embraced him in a hug.

He grinned while letting out a sigh of relief, he was so glad that she wasn't mad at him.

He wrapped his arms around her small frame and hugged her back.

They stood there for a moment before she pulled away, looking to Sersi and giving her a light hug, knowing Sprite didnt like hugs, she simply gave her a smile and walked back to Kingo's Vanity. "So, what brings you guys here?"

"Are we getting back together?" Kingo squealed,

"We need to talk." Sersi sighed, her voice was serious and worried. Theia's eyebrows furrowed.

"I've been waiting for the day that I get to reveal the identity of The Shadow Warrior." Kingo said, reapplying his eyeliner, causing Theia to roll her eyes.

"Ajak's dead." Sprite said, atlast.

It didn't feel like a joke. It felt like the room was now full of tension and no one knew what to do.

Kingo froze, stopping his movements and Theia cleared her throat.

"She was killed, by a deviant." Ikaris spoke.

The lights dimmed and everyone began to leave.

"The deviants are back. We dont know how many there are." He rested a hand on Kingo's shoulder, "You two need to come with us."
