His Maid, Expectantly Waiting

Major spoilers if you didn't read the manga, forgot to say this like 3 chapters ago *runs away*.

~May 1890~

You gradually got better. It wasn't overnight and you did get worse at first but now you were back to normal. Almost normal... you were anaemic for good, but it wasn't bad it posed no problem for you besides being cold sometimes and a new love for chewing ice from the ice box.

After another day of yelling and scolding the young lord calmed down and let you breathe. A child telling you off was embarrassing, you weren't sure if it was because he cared or because you were of some value. Sebastian had the courtesy to let your screw up pass through his mind already. Both of them letting you recover from the mess you put yourself in. Besides, he had enough to work on without you worrying him. An entire venue to renovate next to Sphere Music Hall to be done in two weeks was no easy task, yet it was managed. Training and writing songs for Lord Edward and the young lord's previous school mates in a week, breaking down their personalities into something that would make people throw their hearts at them. If anyone had experience with that it was definitely Sebastian. Marketing strategies were left to you, simply because you had to rest didn't mean you weren't going to help, the young earl made sure of that.

Knock-knock

You were startled out of your thoughts. Getting off your stomach you sat up in bed, placing the papers you were engrossed in on your lap. "Come in."

"We have two more days, how's it going?" Sebastian asked bringing you your lunch. Liver, vegetables, and wine. Not your favourite meal but you had something good to wash it down.

"Good I suppose. Selling the Funtom toys in the venue is a given but the incentive to buy one is missing. Most people attending don't have children therefore would see no point in buying a stuffed animal, and those that do probably have one already. Plus, there's no time to make a limited edition one," you took a bite of your liver and gagged while you chewed it. "God, I hate this."

"And whose fault is that? Hmm?"

"I didn't tell them to drain my blood like a vampire."

"Because bad people need permission to do things," he cooed sarcastically.

"You do," you shrugged happily taking another bite of food.

His jaw clenched at the mention of his short leash, and you smirked knowing it would get under his skin.

You shifted through the papers and continued bouncing ideas off of him, "Selling the perfume there would be too obvious a reach for money. Plus, the scent might not be to everyone's liking- " you nearly threw up your food remembering how awful the perfume was to you, and the liver did not help. Grabbing your wine to keep it down, an idea popped in your head as you stared at the dark red liquid swirling in the flute glass.

"Hey I got it!" You showed Sebastian his rippling eye colour in a glass. "When they buy it, they get a special interaction with the boys. Up the price of Bitter Rabbit, people would throw their money away to feel special for a moment."

"They greet them after the show," he pointed out.

"Hmph... then during the show, when they get off stage to interact with the crowd. Whoever has one gets a special interaction. Have the people at the door tell them that.

"All that from a glass of wine?" he raised his eyebrow amused.

"It's my muse~," you grinned proudly before downing the rest.

Two days went by quickly and it was opening night. The three of you watched from the balcony as people poured in from Bravat's venue into the Phantom music hall. The young lord nodded at the both of you, returning to his office upstairs. Leaving everything up to the both of you.

"Thanks," you whispered as Sebastian draped a shawl around your arms and drew you in his arms, the wind from the bitter London air nipped at you from the open doors. It wasn't even that cold honestly, and you hated it.

"There," you pointed out, spotting Bravat in the crowd. A look between awe and anger on his face, or maybe confusion.

"Keep an eye on him, I'll be in Sphere Music Hall," Sebastian said unwrapping his arm from around your waist. He disappeared through a window to the right of the both of you. Could he ever use a proper exit?

Turning around to see the inside of the venue you could see all the way behind the stage where the boys were getting ready, Bravat's lilac hair standing out from the sea of auburn, black, and blonde. They looked a bit nervous from what you could see, the venue was much bigger than Sphere Music Hall's. The lights dimmed and the show began, although concentrating on Bravat to make sure he stayed put you did manage to catch a bit of the show itself.

"I never thought Lord Edward would be so into it. He seems so conservative. You should definitely try it, they'll all be drooling," you said to Sebastian who was behind you.

"How do you keep knowing when I pop in and out?" he groaned. He clearly prized his stealth. "But if I recall, you have a little jealousy problem kitten," he smirked.

"I- shut up," you moved away from him, but he grabbed you back pressing you into the banister. Pressing a kiss into your neck you moaned at the sudden warmth to a sweet sensitive area. He knew your body too well, exactly how to make you melt into his arms. Squeezing you a little, he bit down on the collar of your uniform popping the buttons out of their respective holes. His mouth traced up your spine placing kisses wherever he saw skin. The front of your dress falling down without the buttons holding it together, your breast nearly falling out. The sticks that were handed out at the beginning of the show began to glow casting a warm purple glow illuminating the venue.

"Sebastian not here," you breathed out, as he started sliding his hand up your leg hoisting the left side of your dress up with it. Fangs glided over your neck, his warm tongue drawing circles, your shallow breathing stopped as you moaned a bit louder and grabbed his hand harshly when he reached your hip. "Control yourself," you hissed trying to fix your uniform. Truth be told, all you could think about was Sebastian pinning you down and ravaging you on every surface. Hell, you'd take the floor at this point, but it wasn't an appropriate time for either of you.

"Kitten..." he whined, demons being away from their mate does take its toll, and you were starting to feel it. Both your ears perked up. Thankfully your shawl hid the top of your disheveled uniform. Sebastian's head fell in the crook of your neck as he sighed and moved next to you. He has barely had an uninterrupted moment with you to himself for a while and it was agitating him as the young lord made his way back downstairs.

"The show's just about over, let's go downstairs you two," the young lord beckoned you over to the winding stairs. Completely fixing yourself you all went downstairs to be faced with an unsuspecting Bravat.

"You're the Earl Phantomhive," he said looking up at the three of you. The rest of the guests were occupied with saying goodbye to the boys at their gates.

"Just as I suspected, you knew us beforehand."

"Never would I have thought that such a person as yourself would come up with a plan like this."

"A plan like this?" he smiled almost sweetly leaning against the banister.

"This," he gestured all around him smiling, "this state of the art equipment you put together. It's easily the most advanced stage in the world. However," his smile dropped, "nothing can surpass the luster and shine of the original."

"I believe that is up to the audience, Bravat."

"Indeed but... If you cannot receive the support of your dearest friends, how do you intend to reach an audience you know nothing about?"

"That is only because they haven't seen the show," he smiled arrogantly down at Bravat who did not return the fake politeness.

"If you'll excuse me," he glared, breaking the tension in the room and walked out into the night air.

Without saying a word, the young lord retraced his steps back up the winding staircase, the both of you trying to catch up with him. Rounding the corner, the young lord suddenly lashed out and sent a vase flying and shattering on the carpet.

"The Meissen vase," Sebastian whined, typical of him to care about the wrong thing. "Lashing out isn't like you, my Lord."

"Damn it I know!" he shook his head.

"She'll be back, sir," you tried to reassure him.

"All that time there and you couldn't find out a damn thing about why she stays," he snapped, worried about his fiancé, even more worried whoever was orchestrating this, was winning.

"It's-"

'Should I say it?'

There is no explanation why she stays if Undertaker was behind it. They don't know each other to your knowledge. You bit your lip, "They don't need her blood from what I saw, as for incentive to stay they offer her truth of some kind. When I saw her there, she called the manor a place of lies."

"What could they possibly know about me that she doesn't?" he scoffed.

"Why did Bravat know Sebastian isn't human?"

He looked at you, gears shifting in his brain. "You don't think Lizzie knew?"

"I give Lady Elizabeth credit when due, but I don't think this was her doing. She's way too calm to know anything about demons existing," your voice trailed off unsure what to tell him. Everything was confusing for you.

"I will figure this out if it's the last thing I do. I will bring it crashing down on whoever's head," he gritted his teeth and stormed off.

Two more weeks passed, and you were finally completely out of bed. But not out of the music hall business, you and Sebastian turned from maid and butler to secretaries. They both informed you that along with blood drawing, they were dumping bodies in Oxleas Woods, not far from the Hall. The plan was to expose them, taking their audience meant they had to take even more blood that they normally did. And of course, it worked like a charm, someone else had died and they got the chance to be on the front page of the Penny Illustrated.

"Is that a knife in his gun?" you showed Sebastian the morning paper after receiving it from the paperboy, who delivered it without attitude this time.

"Was I supposed to let him shoot me? My clothes would need sewing again."

"Oh please," you laughed putting it on his tray with the rest of the mail.

"Morning Agni," you said as he brought in breakfast for the young lord and the prince.

"Good morning, Ms. Y/n, Sebastian," he bowed to the both of you and you smiled, finally accepting that he refers to you as Ms.

There was a knock at the door and Agni opened to an adorable blonde man with a camera. "Mr. Pitt," you said taking his hat. "We weren't expecting you till luncheon."

"Well, I don't really have anything to do, and I miss the young earl so much, I decided to drop by a bit early."

"Oh, we have a guest?" Prince Soma said cheerfully, sitting at the table getting ready to dig in to the food. "Come join!"

~

"You knew Ciel when he was younger?" Prince Soma exclaimed, happy there was someone to talk to about the young lord. The young lord had joined them at a later time and indulged in having tea with the talkative pair.

"Oh definitely, he used to be so mischievous. His father and Tanaka couldn't keep him to sit still for pictures." He adds that he still has a photograph of the family. An unusually angry young lord snatched it from Mr. Pitt before he could show the prince. "That's not necessary to show him!"

"You can destroy them all you want young master I still have the plates. I can make more copies," he laughed at the prince trying to wrestle the picture from the young lord. You had to admit it was funny seeing him trying to get a hold of the picture.

"You have a guest Lord Phantomhive," Agni came in the room with Inspector Abberline, you haven't seen him in such a long while, he had grown a mustache now.

"I'll show you out," grabbing Mr. Pitt's hat you ushered him out of the townhouse. Agni taking the newspaper from earlier, seeing the front page and looked horrified.

"Did the prince have anything to do with this?" he asked.

"Not to my knowledge," you shrugged your shoulders going to brew a new batch of tea for the unexpected guest. You didn't know what happened to be honest. If it was a setup of them being in the right place at the convenient time or if it beyond that, a setup for them to discover.
