His Maid, Clarifying
Oh I definitely have to say this. I rarely put anything "pOliTicAL" in my book, but if you are anti abortion, racist, pro mf guns, and/or anti lgbtq+. Go fuck yourself, my content ain't for you. On my mama I am so deadass if I see one more ignorant comment. You're blocked. No questions ask. It's not that hard to respect people for who they are or what they choose to do with their body or to see that children's lives are more important than having a piece of steel in your pocket.
Everyone else who has the common sense to know this already. I hope you sleep well at night. Enjoy <3

"Y/N!!!"
"Lady Sullivan- AH!" she came at you with such speed, the mechanical spider legs actually made her seem like a human sized spider which creeped the absolute hell out of you. You shuddered involuntarily before giving her a hug, "You couldn't design different type of legs?"
"I like arachnids," she smiled up at you.
'Good Lord,' you shook your head, chills spreading like shockwaves through your body, still trying to get the imagery out of your head. How could anyone like those things? "The young lord's this way," you led her to his dressing room.
"Oh, Ciel you could've said you wanted an audience," she teased with a perverted smirk on her face.
"DON'T YOU DARE START THAT AGAIN!"
"What'd you bring us up here to say?" Prince Soma asked pushing his leaning self off the mantle.
"We're shutting down the Music Hall."
"WHAT?! I improved the lichtstab (lightstick) and the- the," she paused, her face flushed trying to think of the English word and gave up halfway, "stimmen kiste!" (Voice box)
"And I prepared a new dance, song and everything for the P5," Prince Soma exclaimed.
"Look it's not my fault. Edward was physically hauled off stage by his mother during a performance. That is beyond me, so we have to halt for the time being, and the other members are busy with school. Unless we hire a professional team, but we already completed the urgent objective so there is no need," he trailed off.
You almost lost your composure; you would've given a lot to see Lord Edward's mother seize him off stage mid performance. From a safe distance however... that woman was not the one to mess with and she made that quite clear. Even so, you found it completely hilarious.
"The carriage is ready," Sebastian said poking his head back in.

"Oh, come on stop treating me like a helpless child, I'm fine."
"Well enough to fight if necessary? You can move quickly without passing out?"
"Is all this worrying really necessary?"
"I'm not worried. You'll slow us down," Sebastian snapped, eyebrows furrowing with annoyance.
"You know you really need to learn when to be harsh and when to hold your tongue," you snapped back, eyes flashing fuchsia with warning. Face mere inches from his, hands on your hips. You were sure he could feel the elevated body heat from your anger.
"Enough you two. Y/n, we don't know what we'll find when we find the S4, your health and safety are important despite how little you seem to care about them. You're staying here and that's an order," the young lord said rushing down the stairs. "Sebastian let's go before those two start an inquiry," he wedged his small body between you two forcing you apart so he could walk through. "Make sure Sullivan gets home, Y/n."
Sebastian grabbed the umbrella from you and attempted to kiss you goodbye, but you turned away and his lips caught your cheek instead of your lips. Sighing he opened the umbrella and they dashed out the door just as Prince Soma was coming down the stairs. You sighed, irritated you couldn't go. But hey, day off.

"Someone's outside," Agni poked his head in the kitchen where you were reading the entire day, still slightly fuming they didn't let you go with them. Wolfram had come up to collect Lady Sullivan in the storm earlier, saving you the trouble of taking her to the other townhouse. You had phoned the main house and were talking to Corbin when Agni interrupted. "I think Papa and grumpy are back. I'll talk to you soon love, mwah!" you kissed the air receiving a giggly kiss back before putting the mouth piece on the receiver. You were informed if there were going to be any guests. It's not like there were any more people left who popped up unexpectedly at his door. Unless of course you count Mr. Lau.
'Are they back already? They only left three hours ago or so.' You put the kettle on the stove and picked your book back up to quickly read the next few lines that left you a lovesick mess. This time it was "Carmilla", by Le Fanu. The one where Miss Irene Diaz thought the vampire had stepped off the pages and started killing everyone in the manor.
"You will think me cruel, very selfish, but love is always selfish; the more ardent the more selfish. How jealous I am you cannot know. You must come with me, loving me, to death; or else hate me, and still come with me, and hating me through death and after. There is no such word as indifference in my apathetic nature."¹
It reminded you of him. Exactly how he acts, which made you a little more annoyed yet made your heart skip beats. Just like Laura, the woman Carmilla, for lack of a better term, in love with. She could never turn away from her. Just as he was in love with you, both of you could never leave. No matter how many fights, how many insecurities, how much overthinking and anxiety ails you. It was unbreakable the trust you two have.
Tearing yourself away from such a hypnotizing part of the book was hard. Finally, going upstairs to greet them and to also give Sebastian a piece of your mind. You had a retort resting in your mind from earlier that you couldn't think of before they left.
"No no, I am viceroy of this estate I greet the guests, not you," Prince Soma said when he saw you come upstairs. You learned by now to leave him to do things when he says he wants to. Reduces useless arguments and your work considerably. Then again, Sebastian was all about rules and wouldn't approve of letting him get the door. You stared out the window trying to get a good look at the people outside. Two silhouettes at the door in all black, one tall one short and you exhaled. It was them. A rainbow on the window caught your eye and you smiled, you rarely saw them. Past the rainbow and pouring rain something caught your eye. The Phantomhive Crest on the carriage was there bright as day, however they left in a hansom cab, not his personal carriage. Even more puzzling, you couldn't sense them at all.
Pulling out your gun you ran towards the Prince.
"Prince Soma wait! Don't!" You shouted at him, but it was too late. A gun was at his forehead within seconds of him opening the door.
Bang!
Prince Soma dropped to the ground, a clean bullet wound in his hand on account of his quick avoidance. You shot at the gun but missed, shooting again your gun continued to fire but no bullets came out. "Damn!"
You discarded it and grabbed another gun shooting wildly at the person. Agni came running and pushed the person out the way, using himself as a human shield between them and Prince Soma. He was quickly stabbed by a tall, hooded man, right under his arm.
"Why are you doing this?!" Prince Soma cried out. Stepping in between the fighting pair and the gunman, you pulled the trigger but immediately swerved your wrist a different way to avoid hitting your intended target. The bullet went through the door and shattered the vase behind it. Water from the vase slipped under the door and joined the carpet that was being saturated with raindrops already.
"My lord?" You asked puzzled. Why was he doing this?
Lightning flashed illuminating his features. The sound of fighting receding into a separate room. It was him, although it wasn't. This one had two sapphire eyes staring up at you instead of one. His face although the same as the young lord's was different, colder but with an almost childlike expression. Sadistic was more like it.
"Agni NO!"
You snapped out of your mesmerized state and ran into the hallway and down the stairs to see Agni bloodied and injured holding on tightly to the door handle. You gasped not expecting the only human match for Sebastian to be injured so easily. His back riddled with knives, the dreadful wounds all seeping blood, staining his garments. You shook him but no response, his body unyielding but slowly losing its warmth. Tears brimmed your eyes. You were in shock. Prince Soma was on the other side banging and rattling the doorknob, crying and screaming in agony for Agni to open the door.
"Om Sadgati, my friend. May Agni mix with your body to return it to ashes²," you said a tear falling from your eyes onto the floor.
"How sweet," a taunting voice spoke from behind you. You stood up and glared at the carbon copy of the young lord.
"Who are you?" you asked angrily, unsure of what the hell to do. You knew who he was, you saw him hooked up to contraptions the other day. But you didn't exactly know. Was he a corpse? Was he a live boy? Did the Undertaker put him up to this? Was it of his own will? No, you remembered the thin scar across his forehead, he's dead. You could practically hear your blood rushing while you tried not to let your bewilderment get the best of you. Your eyes darted around the room for the man he came with.
"He's behind you," he smiled nodding his head in your direction. Before you could turn around the back of the man's blade hit where your head and neck met, rendering you unconscious.
"And I was told almost nothing could take down his servants," the boy smiled. "Come Polaris, there's still more work to be done before my brother comes home."
¹Passage from "Carmilla" by Sheridan Le Fanu. Great read. Victorian era lesbian vampire 🤌 I def recommend.
²My hindustani aunts said that's what you say when someone "passes on". And Agni is an important Deity :)
