Chapter Six.
When they arrived in town, Sebastian opened the carriage door and helped Mollie out. She reached out her delicate hand and Sebastian grabbed it in his large, strong one.
"Thank you Sebastian." She said sweetly.
"Of course my lady." Sebastian said with a smile.
After their conversation in the carriage, Sebastian had grown a deep respect for her, not that he had none before, but now he looked up to her. She truly was a kindred spirit.
"Where shall we go first master?" Sebastian said.
Mollie chuckled at the word 'master'. It sounded rather odd to her. "Please Sebastian, call me Mollie. I do not like the sound of 'master', it makes me sound like a tyrant or something of the sort." She said.
Sebastian nodded his head understandingly. Even though it was considered rude to address your master by their first name, it was an order, and Sebastian had never gone back on an order before.
"Of course, Mollie." He said for the first time. He rather liked the way it rolled off his tongue, it left a sweet taste in his mouth. Mollie found that she also enjoyed the way her voice sounded coming from him.
"As for where to go, I think we should try the home decor shop. I find myself all the more excited the closer we get." She said as if she were a little girl on her way to a candy shop.
"That is a splendid idea my lad- Mollie." Sebastian said, catching himself.
They began the walk to the shop and took in the scenery around them. Women, men, and children of all ages, were to be seen everywhere. Little girls with beautiful ribbons in their hair, women with gorgeous gowns.
As they were walking, Mollie accidentally brushed her hand against Sebastian's. A blush crept onto her porcelain skin as she looked down.
"Oh, I am so sorry Sebastian, forgive me. I did not see your hand there." She says apologetically.
Had she been looking, she would have seen the small smile he had given her before it even happened.
"It is my fault my lad- Mollie. I should have been paying attention to where I was going." He said, knowing that it was going to happen.
Mollie gave him a smile and gently shook her head playfully. They both looked up and realized they had made it to the shop.
Sebastian opened the door as a little bell jingled. He held it open as Mollie walked in and gently closed it.
Mollie looked around in awe at the beautiful decorations that lined the walls of the shop. Beautiful wallpaper and pictures, a multitude of furniture, and a great deal of nicknacks, filled the store, along with other decor items.
Something in particular caught her attention. It was a beautiful black, four poster king sized bed with gorgeous carvings in the wood.
She walked to it and gently ran her graceful fingers along the railing, with a smile. That is until she made it to the price tag. She looked down and it read '809 pounds'.
"Oh my." Mollie said as she stepped away from the bed.
"What ever is the matter Mollie?" Sebastian asked, remembering to use her actual name this time.
"This bed is absolutely amazing, but it is so expensive." She said sadly.
Sebastian chuckled a moment. "You have far more than enough money to even begin to know what to do with, you can buy whatever your desire." He said.
A large smile grew on Mollie's face as she looked at him in pure bewilderment. "And you are sure it is alright Sebastian? I do not want to spend compulsively." She asked.
Sebastian nodded his head with a chuckle. "Yes Mollie, it is quite alright. Should you begin to run low on currency, which is likely impossible, I will be sure to inform you."
"Thank you Sebastian." She said sweetly as she turned to the bed. She pulled the tag off of the headboard and began to look around at the other decor.
She took the tags off of a bedroom suit to match the new bed she had found. It included a dresser, a wardrobe, a beautiful table, and two lovely night stands. All of the items were a beautiful silky black with accents of burgundy.
"Sebastian," she said turning to her handsome butler.
"Yes Mollie?" He replied.
"What color for wallpaper do you think would suit the manor?" She asked.
Sebastian was taken aback again, Ciel had never asked for his opinion on anything before. "Whatever you find that is to your liking shall be perfect." He said, not knowing what to say.
She gave him a soft smile before picking up a beautiful gray piece of wallpaper with little patterns of burgundy and black skillfully painted onto it.
"This is the one!" She said excitedly. She turned it to Sebastian, who gave her a nod.
"What did I tell you my lady? It is perfect." He said.
Mollie gave him a look and smiled. "My apologies, Mollie." He said, forgetting her name yet again.
She went back to searching and Sebastian watched her, holding back a few chuckles now and again. The familiar ring of the shop door sounded, but Sebastian brushed it off.
He turned back to Mollie and noticed she had her hands full with a multitude of items. "Oh goodness, please, allow me Mollie." He said taking the items from her hands.
"Thank you Sebastian, I could have carried them, but I had not realized I had so many things in my arms, thank you." She said gratefully.
"Of course, Moll-" he began, but cut himself off.
"What ever is the matter Sebastian?" Mollie asked, noticing her butler suddenly pausing.
He lifted his head in the air as his eyes suddenly began to glow a bright pink.
He lowered his head to her ear. "There is another demon here." He whispered.
"Wher-" Mollie began, but was cut off as well.
"Right here, hello Sebastian." An all too familiar voice said.
