Chapter Four.

"My lady," Sebastian said as he extended his arm. "I would like to introduce you to your new servants."

"New servants?" Mollie asked.

"Yes my lady, I have taken the liberty of hiring the best ones England has to offer." He said proudly.

"Very well Sebastian." She said sweetly.

"First off, we have Rayou Bonnet. He will serve as the manors head chef." He said as the man bowed.

"It is a pleasure, my lady." Rayou said.

Rayou was a rather tall fellow, standing to about Sebastian's height. He had messy, silver hair that fell midway at his neck, and his eyes were a beautiful blueish grey. He wore a customary white chefs uniform with red trimming and a red ascot tied around his slender neck. He also adorned a thick, French accent.

"And the lovely young lady to my right, is Alix Robin. She will serve as the manors head maid."

"It is a pleasure, my lady." Alix said with a bow.

Alix stood around the same height as Mollie, only a few inches shorter. Her hair was long and wavy and was the color of caramel. Her eyes were golden and seemed to sparkle as she batted her long eyelashes. She wore a black and white, customary maids uniform.

"And the gentleman to my left, is Spencer Durand. He will serve as head gardener." Sebastian said, motioning towards the man standing beside him.

Spencer leaned over in a bow, slowly, never taking his eyes off of Mollie. "It is a pleasure, my lady. I am honored to serve you."

Mollie gave him a soft smile as she took in his features. He was around the same height as Rayou and he appeared to be well built. His hair was charcoal black and messy, and fell carelessly wherever it desired. His eyes were a piercing blue with shades of grey dotted in them. He wore a white button up shirt, black vest, black tie, black trousers, and black dress shoes. He was dressed rather odd for a gardener.

Mollie stood from her desk and walked to the front of it, Sebastian came to stand at her side.

"I thank you all for taking on these roles, you have my upmost respect." She said with a curtsey.

"I have given you all your orders for the day, now go see to them." Sebastian said as he clapped his hands together.

They all nodded and bowed and left to attend their duties.

"So Sebastian," Mollie said as she sat at her desk. "What exactly is there to do around here?"

Sebastian chucked. "Already bored, are we? Well, I happen to know a number of activities that would suit you to your liking. You could try your hand at art, or a game of chess, or even music. Anything you desire."

Mollie widened her eyes at music. "Would there happen to be a piano here?" She asked curiously.

"Why of course my lady, come I shall take you to it." He said.

Mollie nodded and followed Sebastian down the hall. When they arrived at the music hall, Sebastian opened the doors and Mollie's eyes grew wide. Multitudes of beautiful string instruments were organized all around the room, and in the middle, sat a beautiful white grand piano.

Sebastian chuckled at her reaction. "I take it you are pleased my lady?"

Mollie nodded her head excitingly and sat down at the piano. She ran her long, elegant fingers along the beautiful black and white keys.

"Oh, it has been far too long since I have played." She said as she positioned herself. "My apologies if I am a little rusty, I have never played for an audience."

A small smile spread across Sebastian's face as she began to play a song he immedietly recognized. It was "Aparrition of a Dandy", it just so happened to be one of Sebastian's favorite musical pieces.

"Oh, wake thee not dearest, no demon hath started, to breed upon raven wind o’er thee.

I’m the spirit polite of a beau that’s departed, and linger on earth to adore thee!

Too tenderly fram’d for this rude world of man, and for kindlier regions intended.

I was slain with a frown, and the flirt of a fan, and to folly’s Elysium ascended, to folly’s Elysium ascended."

She sang elegantly and played perfectly, not a single note out of key. Sebastian adored her voice. To him, it sounded like angels.

"There fops of all ages are hymning, The charms of young beauties like you, love.

On wings of white lace from some gay coquettes trimming, or cut from her last billetdown, love.

There dance we and sing as softly as Sirens, but nought from THIS world that’s plebeian, one only sweet lyric Of Moore's, or of Byron's, one only quadrille— the Psychean!, One only quadrille— the Psychean!

And lo! on the moonbeam in silence I slip from eternity’s region of blisses, To fan with my pinions thy bosom and lip till thy dreams be of sighs and of kisses.

But the pale morn awakes— I must fly love from thee, ere her smile in the east she discloses, to a light dejeunè upon Lavender-tea, and purified otto of roses, And purified otto of roses."

When she was finished, she placed her small hands in her lap, pleased with her performance.

Sebastian began to clap as he walked to her side, a small smile plastered into his pale face.

"You play beautifully my lady, and your voice is quite lovely. I can see why you enjoy music so. You are very talented." He said sweetly.

Mollie looked down at her hands and blushed. No one had ever complimented her on her musical talents, even though she had taken piano and singing lessons all her life. Her parents were always far too busy for anything of the sort.

"Thank you Sebastian, you know, you are far too kind for any ordinary butler, and a demon at that." She said graciously.

Sebastian placed a hand over his heart, his smile never faltering.

"Why thank you my lady, I can not accept such gracious compliments." He began with a smirk.

"But you see, I am simply one hell of a butler."
